“Good value if you like the location and one of the best riverside views in Singapore”
I chanced upon Heritage Collection Boat Quay while I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a week's stay. In gist, I enjoyed my stay and the great view of the Singapore river and night life. The customer service from Edmar was also great. pros: - great view of the Singapore river and the nightlife (till 3am) is literally right below you - amenities and space of a small studio-size serviced apartment at a what I felt was a pretty reasonable price - great and prompt service cons - soundproofing ain't great if you are a light sleeper (you'd have to bear with the nightlife noise until wee hours of morning). I understand the shophouse is a conserved building and there are constraints as much as the owner/operator would like to improve the soundproofing - condition of some of the kitchen/home appliances weren't great, e.g. the washing machines and dryer free for use seem poorly maintained (i brought my own laundry to a nearby laundromat eventually). However, the service staff was did promptly replace damaged appliances (i.e. for me, an iron). - generally clean but the housekeeping standards could be better if the intention is to be comparable with that of hotels.
