Different side of Dublin”
not city centre, but In my opinion, a nicer part of Dublin, close of Modern Art Museum, Kilmainham prison, nice pubs etc. Good standard hotel, view of Dublin mountains.

My go to hotel in Dublin”
It's a little pricey but totally worth it

Good location”
Nice hotel, great location. Food was only average unfortunately. €5 extra for room service is a bit cheeky as well. I ordered the fish and chips and it was only so-so. And the breakfast the next morning was mediocre. Expect better for a hotel claiming high standards. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good but not great.

Was a great venue for the event we attended but was 15 euro in a taxi into town.”
Rooms were spacious and modern. Very clean and great service. Restaurant which is part of the hotel was disappointing though

Clean and spacious room”
The rooms are clean and spacious enough, car park is just underneath the building and have direct access to the hotel lobby, which is convenient. Breakfast is in buffet style with adequate variety. The park opposite the hotel worth to make a relaxing walk if have time and the Irish Museum of Modern Art is inside the park. One drawback is that a male front-desk staff was not quite organized and messed up our 3 room-bookings with single bed and twin beds. Originally we booked 1 single bed room and 2 twin-bed rooms, but it turned out to be all single bed rooms. Lucky that it was sorted out finally.

Hilton staff go extra to make you feel special”
I booked it to spend a day in Dublin for my son's Birthday. He likes to swim and Hilton has a pool which I would be looking for first. I asked if they can do something to make it more special for my son and as we checked in, the receptionist handed a card and a box of chocolates. It made him happy which made me happier.

Not worth the cost”
Was dissappinted with this hotel. Being part of the Hilton chain you would expect A LOT more for your money. Hygiene generally was an issue as was the condition with some parts of the building. We paid 190 euro for a nights stay. I would say generally it was not worth even half that price. Dissapointing.

On end of 30 day holiday”
Our stay in Dublin was made so much better because we stayed at the Kilmainham. Opposite the old Kilmainham jail and a 15 min walk or 10 EURO taxi fair to the airport bus station. The hotel staff were excellent and the accommodation very comfortable. Bed, the best we had slept in on our travels. We departed hotel at 4.30am and staff had a bag of breakfast ready for our journey. We ate most of our meals at the hotel. They were very affordable and very nice.

Dublin : the bars and life music !”
The Hilton Kilmainham in Dublin is a good hotel but it is announced as a city center hotel, which it is not. Hop on hop off busses stop at the hotel but that is only between 10 am and 17pm, and the other public transport is not so interesting either. It is a 20 minutes walk to the station and 40 minutes to the city center, or a 14 Euro taxi. Airport bus is 6 Euro from the station. the immediate environment of the hotel is not interesting,

Exceptional”
Dublin is a pricey hotel city and I was relieved to find the Hilton was a little less expensive than the European properties I had checked. It was a great location. The staff was pleasant and helpful with my many questions. The neighborhood is lovely and it was quiet in my second floor room that looked out on a fairly busy street. The breakfast was nice and included plenty of choices.

Great hotel for a weekend away”
I was there this weekend with a group of girls for a weekend away. While not in the city centre it was only a short taxi ride away (approx €10) into town. We had breakfast the first morning but service was very slow and one of the staff was down right surly so we didn't bother the next morning. The barman was very friendly as was the guy at the pool. The jacuzzi wasn't working when we were there but we had a dip. It's not a pool to do lengths in, jus one to have a refresh and help your sore head from the night before!! Wine was a little expensive, starting at €30 a bottle but not too bad for a hilton in dublin. They do have corkscrews ice buckets and wine glasses in the room so you could BYO. The girls at reception were lovely and helped us out with taxis and dinner reservations at nearby restaurants. There were taxis waiting out used most of the time so it wasn't a prob getting into town. Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were mostly friendly (apart from the girl at breakfast, who I think was new) and as we booked with agoda it was only €60 per room (slept 2) for the 2 nights. Bargain!! I would be back.

Ireland Trip”
We had been on a long flight from Sydney arriving early morning at Dublin Airport and we were able to check in early and use the spa pool which was soothing after such a long flight. The hotel was out of the hussle and bussle of Dublin but still convenient to get around the city.

Lovely hotel, staff poor ”
The hotel was in a great location, lovely views of the Phoenix park & kilmainham jail. Walking distance to public transport & very close to city centre. Rooms were spacious & clean. Receptionist on arrival was lovely & very helpful but sadly the rest of the staff we encountered were not as friendly or helpful. This unfortunately did not make our stay as pleasant as we had hoped and for this reason I would not stay here again. I have stayed in many hotels in Dublin and this is the only one where I will not be returning back to stay.
