Fantastic Hotel”
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is located on a quiet street with many hidden local gems. The rooms are small but clean and the AC is nice and cold. The Wi-Fi is strong. The pool bar has delicious cheap drinks. The staff is kind and very helpful. This is a GREAT place if you to get some work done. The pool area is stocked with outlets and tables/couches and pool is nice and clean for when you need a break from working. They have a restaurant but we didn’t eat there. There is a coffee stand across the street with a very nice woman. There is a seafood restaurant near by that you MUST visit. Mor Mu Dong (probably spelled that wrong). Overall this place is a steal for the money. 10/10 recommend.

Hivetel is The Best Hotel In Phuket”
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is a brand new hotel so everything is spotless and beautiful. The rooms are well appointed, the pool and pool bar are both wonderful, and the gym there is literally the best I have ever seen. They have a complete strength and conditioning gym as well as a full muay thai training facility right there on-site. In all of my years of traveling I have never seen a hotel that was better suited for active and health-concious guests. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the hotel restaurant is world class as well. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to Chalong Bay, and the sunsets there are amazing. I highly recommend Hivetel, and I hope you have as wonderful of a vacation as I have here!

Nice design and fun stay”
The price was great, and we were interested to see the shipping container design, which didn't disappoint. I never did see the fitness center though. I think they may be remodeling. Breakfast was okay, but for vegetarians the options were limited. They did try to make us something suitable though, so that was good. The place has some great little locations for photos and hanging out. The rooms are not really well soundproofed though, and the people next to us were up allllll night partying, so we didn't sleep well the first night. Not the fault of the hotel, but just understand that everyone can hear you if you're engaging in adult behavior ;) It's kind of located in a residential area, not much around. But honestly, you can take a taxi to anywhere you want to be for not that much. CLose to the Chalong Pier for boat day trips.

Great place to spend the isolation period. Great staff, well versed in government requirements regarding required inspections. Coordination of tests, transportation, problem solving, motorcycle - everything was done quickly and professionally. Courteous staff, English speaking, special hotel in its design, clean, very good service. Varied breakfasts. Quiet area and halfway between Rawii (lawii) beach, Phuket. Not far from the king power & central malls& big C. Hope U enjoy as much as i did 😁👍

+ : first, the design of the hotel/place is so cool ! Great swimming pool with a bar in it to enjoy your cocktail 😉 Special good point for the hotel's staff who is really really nice, helpful and friendly, really good service. And also good room service. Breakfast included is good. Rooms are basics and smalls but clean, with a little balcony and a nice bathroom with hot shower and air cond. I loved the huge window all along the bed side! (Ask room with a view on nature, instead of swimming pool or road, as it's more pleasant and we saw a monkey from our balcony!) Really close to the beach. - : it's container so no isolation, so can be a bit noisy, especially depends on your neighborhood. If you don't sleep with a bit of noise and need perfect quiet environment, this is not for you. Fitness room was also closed (probably because not enough people in the hotel) Be careful, it's a bit far from Phuket Town so you need to rent scooter or ask for taxi (they rent bike (only 1h free) or scooter at the hotel (300 bat a day) Definitely recommend this really cool hotel ! I really enjoyed it.

Best muay thai trainings camp across - Tiget Muay Thai - amazing trainers and small classes! You need a bike for other food then the hotel, around that place not many choices. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Exceptional service”
For my compulsory 7 days sandbox SHA booking, I basically chose at random, only looking at the lowest prices because I had other arrangements in place... The Hivetel is a fascinating project, architecturally speaking, and anyone who works in construction would get a kick out of the place. It's very sports-focused, being located right next to some very nice looking muay thai gyms, away from the main roads (but only 10m on scooter to centre of Chalong ). Staff were just great - Manageress Paan was warm and friendly, quite approachable and flexible with arrangements, and she really helped me BIG-TIME when I was faced with a medical emergency. I have to thank her again most profusely for the way she and her lovely staff treated me. If you have to do a lot of Zoom for work or study, I'd recommend having back-up internet. Just be aware, the rooms are painted black, which can be a little oppressive if you have to stay in... but otherwise very comfortable, modern, clean, and I had a direct view of the Big Buddha from my balcony, bed, and shower :) Incredible!

Just to get the negative out of the way - lots of pictures showing a gym, however the gym is shut, has been for some time and I think closed for the foreseeable. So I think really misleading of the Hotel and Agoda continue to use advertise using pictures of the gym so prominently. That aside the Hivetel is great! Really interesting building design, nice rooms, friendly staff and the pool is awesome. Location is quiet but only a 5 min scooter ride from tons of places to eat.

Due to the pandemic the sauna, steam room and gym are closed. These facilities are managed by the Tiger Muay Thai Centre that is incorporated in the complex. When the centre reopens this will only add to value of your stay.

Nice hotel, inspiring architecture!”
We spent our 7 days Sandbox at Hivetel and enjoyed it a lot. The architectural concept is really inspiring with the use of old sea containers and other upcycling details. The location is pretty calm, it may not be the best spot if you are looking for party or connection. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the communication before our stay was rather disappointing as I never got a reply to my messages.
