Nice rooms”
Clean and tidy rooms with view of the resort pool. Needed to carry luggage for a bit of a distance since the resort building was rather big and spacious and up the stairs to get to room.

Lovely stay”
A good pool and nice room with a hot shower, Unfortunately they didn't do food bot only a hundred metres away there was a quaint small place that did take away food which was cheap. If I'm back up in that area I will definitely stay there.

Nice Budget Hotel Ideal ”
Really pleased when we arrived at Homeland Resort. We was greeted with a smile and checked in really quickly and given our keys to our rooms. There was 4 of us (two couples) and couldn't believe that for 500 Baht (about a tenner in sterling per room) that was the price for what we was looking at, outstanding value for money. Nice big swimming pool, really clean spacious rooms. Modern looking and nice and quiet and relaxing. Im not one for moaning about little pathetic things like some folk, like there was no soap oh my oh gosh we couldn't get over that it and it ruined our stay so there is no complaints from us, nothing that's worth complaining about unless your a typical moaning person that's never satisfied with anything. If your looking for somewhere to stay in Phetchabun and you have transport as it's a little drive outside of the town then we thoroughly recommended Homeland Resort.

Quite place for travelers with own transportation”
I´m staying at Homeland Resort every time I´m passing Phetchabun. Nothing special but nothing wrong. It’s quite, reasonable clean and has a great pool. The local food is not too bad as well, if you aren´t up for a trip in the city. Travelers need their own transportation though…

A bargain”
Always happy to stay at Homeland Resort. Quite a bargain, and so what's not to like? Staff are friendly enough. Swimming pool has too many children, so afraid to swim in it. But I don't go there for the swimming. Air conditioner could use a bit of work this time... Often not effective enough, and at other times was spitting ice. But again, it's a bargain. So there. One problem can be finding the place, but that's recently been solved... It's about 8-10KM north of Phetchabun on the west side of Highway 21. There is a sign that actually says "Homeland Resort," but the sign uses Thai letters, so many foreigners won't be able to read it. That said, they've recently built a big GlobalHouse home improvement shop on the west side of highway 21. It is JUST north of the small road that leads to Homeland Resort. So... Go to the first road south of GlobalHouse on highway 21, about 8-10KM north of Phetchabun. Go west on that small road, maybe 1/2 - one KM. When you come to a two story building blocking your way, and you wonder if that might be it, that's it!

Good price-quality level”
We stayed in Homeland resort for 2 nights with 4 people. The price quality level was good. The rooms were basic but really clean. One point of critic is the swimming pool. The colour was more green. This indicates that the chemical levels of the water were not in balans. We went to Homeland resort with own transportation which is kinda necessary considering that the resoorts location is pretty far from everything. It will take about 45 minutes drive to centre Khao Kho, which is not bad. Actually, in the winter months i reckon it's nicer to stay in the valley cause it's much warmer than when you decide to stay in the mountains. Overall, we were satisfied for sure with the resort.

Clean room - very quiet!”
Staying at Homeland reminds me of traveling in Thailand 20 years ago - the facilities are aging but very clean. Seems like their glory days are in the past with newer, more modern options available in town. With that being said, I loved the quiet atmosphere and my young kinds loved the big, deep pool - I just wish they kept the filter running more often. I recommend if you’re okay with being transported back in a time capsule to the old style guesthouses in Thailand - I hope they find a way to remake their image and survive. I stayed there 3 years ago as well and very little has changed;)

Clean hotel, nice pool - front desk staff could be more friendly”
Clean room - great food - friendly waiter. My kids loved the pool although it could use more chlorine - a bit murky. Front desk evening staff charged us 20 baht each for two extra pillows - was a bit abrasive as well. Why not just charge 40 baht more for the room? The cost wasn't the issue, the delivery of the policy needed work - I've never been charged for extra pillows at any guest house or hotel. The front desk was also taken aback when I asked for extra towels for my two young kids who had been swimming - seems like a typical request? Could use a refresher on customer service. Other wise it was a very convenient location for visiting the in laws in Phetchabun. Try the morning glory salad - yum!

A little gem, known only by Thais...”
I chose this hotel because it was a hotel I was planning as a midway point on a route from Bangkok to Mae Sot via Lom Sak and Phitsanulok. I was completely taken aback by the level of comfort and the nice setting. The motel is situated in the middle of nowhere, in a little quiet "Moo Baan" (suburb), but if you are driving, it is an excellent point to stop by and take a rest for the night. They had all the facilities of a 3 star hotel, for the price of a guest house. The staff was extremely kind, and for the price, this cannot be beaten in terms of convenience and ease. The rooms are spacious, and although you cannot ask for complete luxury, they are quite pleasant and restful (an excellent bed, BTW). There is even a pool over there, so, you could really have a totally incredible experience at a ridiculous price given the comfort of the hotel.

Quiet Hotel with nice pool”
Spend one night at Homeland Resort, Petchabun The hotel is far away from the city and you definitely require private transport. I use it as a stop on my trip south/north and it absolutely suits the purpose. They serve reasonable food as well which is pretty handy as you don´t really need to go to the city. Its not fancy, quite old, but fairly clean and sufficient equipped for the price. The best part is the pool, which is great. Stayed at homeland now the fifth time – no dramas

Quite Resort north of Phetchabun”
I stayed at the Homeland Resort for one night and it did all, I expected and more. There´s a nice pool and a good Thaifood restaurant, which is pretty convinient as there´s not a lot around and if you don´t want to drive into town you have a good alternative. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and quite.

Value for money”
We enjoyed a night at the Homeland Resort. The resort is situated in a very quite area of Petchabun with a reasonable pool. The rooms were clean but old fashion and the bathrooms kind of rundown. However, the rooms are reasonable priced and finally you get what you pay for...

Good hotel with a very helpful staff”
the hotel is located in a soi about 3 km north of phetchabun city, not so easy to get around. however, the manager was very helpful, and also showed us around in the region in her private car. so we had 4 pleasant days and enjoyed our stay.

Big rooms but basic”
Hotel is located in Homeland Village, a residential area outside of the main city. Not easy to get to unless you have your own transportation. Lots of parking. Rooms are very basic, you get what you pay for. The room has a balcony but it looks like it has not been cleaned in years so I did not even dare to venture out to it. Don't expect any luxuries in this hotel but it serves it's purpose as an overnight stop for a bed and rest enroute to another destination.

Good value for money. Room very comfortable/clean.”
Have stayed several times before, but this time was given a much better (modern/cleaner) room above the pool area, rather than in the adjacent building. Had an evening meal (traditional Thai) which was 'swimming' in cooking oil, but breakfast of scrambled eggs was OK. I will return to Homeland as it still represents good value for money.
