Great place to stay in Manila”

Dear Travellers If you dont want to spend lots of cash, you will appreciate this hotel as it provides the main features, Safety Deposit box in your room, safe environment, great and accommodating staff and close to Robinsons Mall. Malate is a buzzing part of manila and you have access to all sorts of entertainments. This is my fourth time stay at Hop Inn Hotel ermita malate, and would return back anytime. Dear Readers This hotel is great as I have stayed here many times, it’s close to Robinsons Mall and many cafes and shops. Its a safe place with Safety Deposit Box in your own room so you can go and do your activities with peace of mind. Its 20-30 minutes to the airport but as you know Manila you need to book the Grab Taxi early. Try and download Grab App use Grab Taxi as the normal Taxi are not very honest, so its easy and economical. The Hotel has Mini Mart next door and small cafe also so you can have breakfast easily with comfort. Please whenever you are in Manila always be careful with your wallet, phone and all your valuables, I have lost some things while in Manila but when you are out of Manila it is safe. But the hotel i cannot find faults, one thing about Hop Inn Hotel they don’t have coffee or tea or fridge in the rooms. Go to A. Mabini Street and look for Red Planet Hotel in front of this hotel there is Chinese restaurant with many Filipino and Chinese dishes. Cheers john

The Most Decent Budget Hotel in the Area”

This is our 3rd stay in Hop Inn Ermita. The place is clean and the staff, attentive. Although walking distance to the bars and restaurants in Malate, it is tucked far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busy district. Free parking is also available on site. And it is a great convenience that a small coffee shop and a 7/11 are just next to the hotel. The bed is comfortable and linens are fresh and clean. Shower heater, hair dryer and all other room amenities are working fine. Cons: Bath towels, besides being dirty white, are stiff and feel rough. Some foreign guests smoke in a Non-smoking room and the smell easily reaches nearby rooms. Although we were told that the hotel penalizes them, for the benefit of the other guests, a stricter regulation must be imposed. It's good that we were offered another room during our stay.

+ Location is safe and quite compared to the other streets in Ermita + Wifi is fast + Staffs are nice and courteous + You have free bottled water everyday + Housekeeping cleans the room everyday + 711 is conveniently situated on the lower ground floor of the hotel including a cafeteria. + Parking is available and free - Air-conditioning is not too cold which is very common in all hop inn hotels in Manila (I've been with all branches due to worm) Over all, I always choose to stay here because I feel safe and it gives me a comfortable stay whenever I have work in Manila. -

New Manila Budget Inn Is A Big Hit”

This Thai based chain hotel is spanking new, having opened in late 2016. Knowing this and finding out that the 2 other hotels I had in mind were totally sold out drove me to give this a try. My special person and I are very glad we did, despite the hefty taxi fare from the airport of 537 PHP, which is about $US10.50. The hotel is within walking distance of several major malls, Manila Bay, the US Embassy, a LRT station (Pedro Gil) and a number of tourist sites, including Old Manila (Intramoros) and Rizal Park, whose lush greenery provides natural aircon in a sweltering city. The efficient and professional staff keeps the facilities in immaculate condition and having a package store and 2 week old coffee bar in Hop Inn's base should give budget minded travellers visiting Manila to do just that; Hop Inn! The only drawback is that the area nearby can be rank after dark. There are a lot of beggars and homeless nearby, though the area is much better.

Dear Readers This hotel is quite a nice place for the cost its perfect. They have a Safety Deposit Box in your rooms, its very clean and tidy. There are many shops and entertainment around this area of Malate Ermita. Walking distance to Robinson's Mall, view from front of the hotel there is mini mart to the right hand side open 24/7, and a Cafe on the left hand side. The cafe opens in the morning and shuts in the evening. They don't have a fridge or water jug so you need to visit the Mini Mart downstairs open all hours. In general its a perfect setting if you need to be close to the Shops, entertainment and airport which is approx 25-35 minutes away. For the safety and convenience it is quite a nice place and I have stayed here many time previously. The staff are always friendly and accommodating in all situations. Dear fellow Readers This is my first time staying at this lovely, clean, safe, friendly hotel. For the price and position in Malate, Manila its worth trying and see for yourself. As this hotel was a great experience I will be back at this hotel with pleasure, the hotel is close to Robinsons Mall Malate, Ninoy International Airport, and all restaurants and cafes in the area. Second time around”

This is my second time booking Hop Inn. This time to attend a convention near the vicinity. Day rate is affordable, location is excellent, parking is secure, checking in is a breeze and service as always does not disappoint. Will come back to this hotel whenever I need to stay in Manila area.

2019 started great”

Our New Year’s Eve celebration at Hop Inn Ermita made the start of the new year great! The rooms are clean. The location is great. We walked to good restaurants for our meals. Though it was raining, the stay is exactly what we have expected.

Stay at the hop inn Ermite..”

We had to stay a couple of weeks in Manila waiting for a visa. I choose a seeview room.. The view was excellent with great sunsets. The downside is that Roxas Blvd down there is a noisy place full of traffic and action.. I wonder if the cheaper rooms facing the back would have been a better choice. This aside, the Hop inn is a great place very clean with a nice staff and a 7/11 right down at the entrance. I will come back if i have a chance.

Excellent Simplicity”

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room, really. Near restaurants like Shakey's, Jollibee, Aristocrat, Nid's and Max's. Near Malate Church and plaza. Close to Roxas blvd/Manila Baywalk. Responsive staff. Assertive security guard. 7/11 convenience store just at the ground floor. Few blocks to Robinson's Manila. Practically a short walk from everything. Con: Depending on the location of the room, vehicle noise can be disturbing. NO FRIDGE! No slippers. Room service did not refill my soap dispenser. Verdict: Very recommendable. Cons are bearable.

Fantastic Place & Location ”

Fantastic location walking distance to Robinson Plaza, Manila Bay some of the Museums. Large & clean rooms with Wi-Fi, constant hot water beautiful city & manila bay wiew, good room services. There is 7Eleven right next to hotel which is very convenient. Breakfast is not available however it's not a big deal at all. Price & location fantastic, if I ever go to Manila again this is the place I would be happily staying.

On the website, it says "city view". But the room that we got did not have acity view. Instead, a view of the hop inn building. A view of Windows of the other hop inn rooms. And so, we always had to roll down the curtain for privacy. But nevertheless, it was a good & relaxing stay. Nice hotel.

A new and decent hotel in Manila”

This a very new hotel in Manila, perfect for solo or double traveler/s. The room is clean, i love the bed, the pillows are thick and the comforter is like what you found in a 5star hotel. Very comfy! The aircon is big, quiet and ofcourse new! So its very cold. The toilet is quite big, very clean with hot shower and dryer. I like the view from the window, I suggest you to get the ocean view for a great sunset. Its very relaxing. The staff are very courteous. If you want to go to the mall, robinsons manila is 5-10mins walk, or you can take a taxi if you dont feel like walking. Mall of asia is 15-20mins away by taxi. If you have time to get around, theres a lot of good restaurants and bars around the area. The downsides are they only have one chair in the room, they dont offer room service and they dont have restos (as of now, I dont know if theyre planning to have soon), sad to say. If you want to eat and you dont want to go far, there is a conveniet store beside the lobby.

Noise comes each night from aqua pool parties across the street.we stayed on 9th floor facing Bay. No phone in room didnt think noises would be problem on 9th floor. Party has loud speakers on until party ends at 6a.m. this gives only a couple of hours for quiet sleep time. 2 key cards, 1 is used to keep lights and air on in room. Great view of Bay both day and night from room 925. 7/11 next door. Cocomoon restaurant/bar opens at 3p.m. coffee shop next door has limited selection of food and no rice. Noodles only and simple sandwiches. Walking distance to Pharmacy, Jolibee, shakeys, Max's, Aristocrat and Sunday Church service. Jeepny to museums and zoo in the area. Walk to Robertson mall. Ride to SM Mall of Asia. Best price on Agoda app. Lots of beggers and bars/bar girls on the next street south of Hop Inn. Don't walk alone and be observant at all times. I walked alone 1 time going to McDonald's and was approached by bar girls and barkers to come into bar. My fiance felt afraid alone.

Stayed here for only a night but would stay here again. Very near Malate hotspots. Pros: - location, very near malate hotspots, convenience store and coffee shop at the ground floor - price - new hotel, room was very clean - ample space for parking cons - none

Room is big, view of Malate from my room good, location excellent for exploring the area: very near Malate church, near Robinson's, lots of food places around (try Dulang for Tausug food and amazake at Nihon Shokudo, both along Adriatico), also walking distance from National Artist F Sionil Jose's Soledaredad Bookstore (get to meet him in flesh there), if you're willing it's also walking distance from Luneta and the National Museums (go, they're free), you can catch kakanin vendors passing by the hotel Clean, regular housekeeping, but my room had black ants, the shower depression was away from the drain, and shower heater and blowdryer kept going off mid-use Great places to explore nearby but also lots of homeless people (it's Manila), the equally many cute dogs with them is a small consolation Biggest drawback was that rooms had no phone, you need Viber to call front desk for concerns

Hop Inn Hotel is a good place to stay. It is very clean and the price was reasonable. The staff was polite and accommodating. Nice place to stay!
