Best hotels & accommodations in Phuket

This is one of the best hostels, more like a hotel to me, that I stayed at in Thailand. I reserved the smallest private room and I was extremely happy with it: it was super clean, modern and functional. Everything worked 100%. The bathroom was clean and immaculate. Water temperature and pressure was excellent. The staff was friendly and excellent as well. I high...

10/10! We stayed 4 Nights in this really nice hotel and loved it! Such a nice style and super clean. The beaches kata and karon are super near. The staff was really nice and made the stay so special to us. We loved the free services, like the breakfast and the offer of tours. One staff member took us for free with his own car to beautyfull places around Phuket. It w...

I would give it 5 star cause I wanted to save money for other activities around the Phuket city rather than relax at the hotel. You won't get on that price with highest reviews so far online. Staff are so friendly and like to help guest if they need so. Hotel is clean including dining area. Wifi powerful, it goes upto 35 mbps download and upload.I would recommend to ot...

Had such a nice stay at this hostel and would definitely go back there if I return to Phuket Town. The staff was really accommodating, breakfast (coffee, tea, toast, butter, jam and either some eggs, rice dish or vegetables) was good, everything was clean and in a good condition, the pool is small but perfect for a little swim on a hot day in the town and there's also ...

we booked for one night on arrival into phuket based upon leaving by bus again the following day. check in was simple - just hand in your agoda voucher and you get your key. we are familiar with thailand so didn't require much interaction with the reception staff though they had smiles enough as we passed by! the hotel exceeded our expectations - it was clean and comfo...

If you're looking for place to spent your night this is the best place. Strategic location because you have to go through an alley to reach the hostel make it less noisy at night. Staff can speak good english and know everything you need at Phuket. Walking distance to Patong Beach area and near to Family Mart. Don't hesitate to book this hostel you won't regret it, tru...

The most affordable accommodation during my travel in Thailand. The staff very accommodating and friendly a plus for me during my stayed. My room is good within my standard. Very near to several shops and transportation. If I will back in Phuket definitely i will stay here.

I really recommend Lupta Hostel to all of you guys. I went to Phuket on my own this December. Lupta was perfect for meeting new people from all over the world, who definately became friends. You never have to spend time alone, if you don't want to. To be honest, Lupta is not a 5 star hotel, but it provides everything what a backpacker needs. In particular, it's ve...

we found a newest hostel in phuket town area, ai phuket hostel, located near thalang road, the staffs are very friendly. the hostel is very clean, cheap, modern. we are really liked the design in the bedroom, they have the different ceiling of each room. the hostel located in very good location. quiet and i feel more relaxing. the oppersite is the local food center "lo...

Very thoughtful layout. Clean. Surfboards to rent. Friendly-ish staff. My bed first night had ants but they changed me to a different room the next morning. Love the kitchen and fridge, people seem to get lots of use out of that. Movie screen projector works fine. They have blu rays but no blu Ray player? Location was amazing and the Tex Mex restaurant next door had am...

Located just across Rip Curl Stores and Patong Beach. 24 hours Family Mart just beside the hostel and ATM machines. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Bangla Street. Surrounded by so many eatery places around. The best hostel that I ever stay. Very comfortable room. By the way, I got myself a single room with air conditioning and clean towel provided. Shared female bathroom, the...

Great little hotel with a resort feel but without the resort price. It's no 5-star hotel, so don't expect the amenities. However, great location, there is a restaurant on the premises and the housekeeping staff were great. I didn't get to deal with the front desk much, and note they do not have 24 hour service. The bathrooms were a bit weird, with the saloon style door...

We were coming in on a 1am flight with 3 kids. This flight was delayed on take off and on arrival which meant we arrived at 2.30am (5.30am Australian time). Poor Max was waiting for our call to pick us up from the airport but we don't have our mobiles with us, so caught a cab with a driver who had no idea where we were going. Anyway, we arrived were shown to a very cle...

Love the decorations and ambiance of this cozy hostel. They provide daily simple breakfast of bread and eggs for the guests at the lobby. The rooms were relatively clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful in providing their services. If you are not afraid of the hot weather, you may take 10 minute walk to nearest TESCO shopping mall for grocery shopping....

I stayed there for 6 nights while in phuket, walking distance to phuket old town and pretty much in the center of the phuket town. Convenient once you figured out how to take the local buses and for the price you pay it's definitely worth it. Level 1 is a cafe with very nice coffee and staff! Yui and Eve! Enjoy!

This small hostel is in a good location, just opposite Ocean shopping mall and Robinson department store is just in few minutes walk. It locates in city centre, however a bit far to walk to the "Old Phuket Town", where is the place for tourists to visit; but within 15-20 minutes walk (it won't be a problem if you rent a motorbike!). The staff is friendly and helpful. ...

Facilities: they have a climbing wall and an awesome boulderwall/cave. They have a yoga studio with big mirrors at the roof top. It’s a do it your own since their teacher is in chiang mai. They have a kitchen. My husband and I did yoga each single day we stayed there and bouldered after. This is a wonderful place to stay because even if you are not keen to leave the ho...

I would highly recommend Fin Hostel. The place and the atmosphere were great. I have the misfortune of getting quite ill with food poisoning and the staff did their best to help me out, as I was a solo traveller. If I go back to Phuket in the future al return to Fin Hostel :)

It's really cheap and valuable (i pay about 400฿ on private rooms) This hostel even have toast in morning for breakfast(it's free!) Location is quite good! Clean room But there's like a broken shower head but it's okay. I have read the reveiw before I book that across the hostel there is like a night-bar that making a noise at night. After I stay for night, for me ...

The best hostel i’ve ever been. Very comfy, New, clean and really Good design. The standard is really like in the 4 stars hotel. You can feel like at home. Everything is so white, bright, clean that make you want to stay in. The owner/ manager the lady is amazing person who knows what is Good hospitalilty. After check in she asked us about our food preferences. When i ...

The Staff was super nice, very helpful and spoke very good english. The rooms were small but comfy and very clean. The lobby and bathrooms were absolutely beautiful. Overall a very stylish hostel. It's pretty affordable and the location isn't really bad considering that you can reach everything by scooter or GRAB easily and cheap as well. Highly recommend the hostel if...

I'm pretty tame about my reviews. That said, I stayed at Pause Kathu for 2 weeks and can say it is awesome. I stayed in the dorm room. The facilities were great. The staff, Yai and Joe, are both friendly and helpful and just great human beings to meet. These guys really take care of you. The clientele who move through this intimate hostel were always interesting and fr...

Booked a mixed dorm room for 1 night but I got upgraded to a private twin bed room for the first night because it's still newly opened period, and I stayed longer and got changed to a private double bed room. The en-suite rooms were so huge and spacious. The bed was so comfy as same as a nice 4-star hotel. The air-conditioner was very good! There were also flat-screen ...

Maikhao is an area situated at the north side of Phuket, near the airport. It is an area which is much less crowded with people(except for the resorts on the west side of maikhao). This place is a nicely decorated house which has several types of rooms to choose from. The beds are comfy and sheets are clean. The A/C works really well that you can get pass the heat pre...

Lovely happy helpful girl at the service desk. There is a little (poorly equipped) shared kitchen with a shared fridge and a communal "café area" where you can eat your own food, which I appreciated since you are not allowed to bring any foods in to your room. I had a private double room with private bathroom. It was a white room with patterned floor tiles (nice)....

Though the place isn't that near to the beach, this trivial detail did not matter to us that much. Actually, we are happy that we booked with this hostel. The owner is fluent in speaking English, which is quite rare in that place, and he was very helpful and accommodating. We booked the Private 4-bunk bedroom - which was very clean, spacious, and quiet. We did not enco...

This was a very nice hostel. But when i checked-in i never saw someone who is staying in this hostel. I booked for 6 female bedroom but I was alone in the room. I think they have to do a lot of work on their marketing skills to get a lot of customers. But overall i really had a great stay!! one of the best hostels in phuket!!!

My friend and I originally booked 2 nights but stayed for 4 (and would have stayed longer if it weren’t for other plans). Camp Hostel has a really nice vibe for good people looking for a laid back time by the beach! The walk is short to both Kata and Karon, and there’s a lot of restaurants in the surrounding area—including a small night market with delicious and cheap ...

I hope there will be scooter rental services with best price to the guest who stay in this hostel. It would be nice if it provide more facilities like iron, R.O. water etc. What need to improve more is toilet cleanliness. I'm sure guest will feel more comfortable to stay longer here. 😊

location is good in old town. close to walking street and some markets and also from bus station 1. where you could take the bus to the beach. rooms are big and comfty. Everything is really clean. have a nice an big common area with computers. the only negative thing is that room is way too hot even it has fans. everything else was perfect and is one of the cheapest o...

+ It was super clean (you can see stuff always cleaning something and they swipe the floors at least twice a day). The room was ok size with a balcony. Air con was working all day. There was a small lamp, mirror, a tiny shelf and an electric plug next to each bed. + You've got an access to the pool even for dorm rooms. There was a reconstruction going on so it wasn't ...

Unbelievably good! 🏨 Review of Enrico Hostel Patong Pending reviewvia mobile As part of my spiritual journey.. travelling most of Phuket I found this backpacker in Patong by surprise! I don't simply book a place to crash on line I have to see the place before I purchase on line this save me a lot of 'hide and seek' with all the travelling hoohaas to get to that spe...

Great location in Kata, Fun decorations (like the Real World), staff keep it very clean and well managed, safe area, night street market is next door has great food, guests were nice & respectful, quiet/good sleep, nice balconies! Staff was a little disorganized/some miscommunication - I had a little difficulty getting ahold of the staff when I arrived at night and the...

The location was the best! From Patong you just take a public blue bus straight to the old bus terminal, you'll see the hostel about 100 m before you reach the station. And it is just a walking distance to nice food, street arts, and malls. This hostel provides all basic facilities you'll need and is decorated in white. So simple so cute! Friendly staff as well :)

I took the local bus from Phuket Town to Pa Tong. The hostel is about 200m down the road from the Ba Nang Street stop. While some people found it hard to find, just look up to the third floor on the north side of the street and you'll see the sign. It's above a sushi restaurant and right across the street from the Tiger Bar. The hostel is a converted department store ...

Staffs were very friendly and helpful, got really good advice for my next destination after Phuket. About 7-10 mins walk from the old street area, good place to chill before heading back home or transfer to next travel spot. Rooms are very well-organized, we stayed in a 4-bed dorm room with a bathroom inside. If you choose a fan room, sleep on the top bunk is a better...

Staff is great they are like family. It's fairly clean but sometimes the floors can use a little cleaning up. It's in Phuket old town and just a small walk from the night market. I'm traveling for a couple months and this place is perfect to get cozy, take it easy, or go back n forth to Patong (30 min drive probably). Love yallll!

Cheap simple place. Bunks of 4 beds per dorms, which were partitioned. Not a lot of privacy. The partitions do not lock and slide open/close. Bring your own toiletries. Toilets sometimes flood, and 2 of the 8 showers were also flooded at the time. Can get busy downstairs as person serving/preparing food + drinks is also the person who does all the hotel admin work - to...

From the incredible staff to the modern digs this hostel has everything you need. Centrally located in Phuket Town, Feel Good Hostel was perfect. My girlfriend and I had a reservation booked ahead of time and had to push it back twice because of unforseen circumstances. Jenny at the front desk (and owner) was more then willing to accommodate our requests and make sure...

We had a very brief stay at this place when we were passing through Phuket. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is great. Right next to the old town! The room was basic with just two mattresses on the floor but it was super clean and the temperature was cool so you really can't complain for the money you are paying for this place!

I like my stay here because of the style and the vibe. The staffs are helpful, attentive, and friendly. They emptied the trash bins like every hour. They are tidy, always keep the place neat. Even though they could clean the fan in the common room, it's so dusty. You could book a tour with them too. They suggested me places to visit downtown. Try to visit Phuket Town ...

Best possible location right in the middle of Bangla road walking street and 3 minutes walk down the beach. Comfortable spacious cabins, working toilets and showers. Hot water and coffee available and friendly staff. I'll come back if I'm ever back in phuket again

This place is unbelievable. If there was a 12/10 rating I would pick that. Without a doubt the best hostel we stayed in in Thailand. My girlfriend and I first stayed in the private double room which was great. My girlfriend flew home I then moved into the dorms for 7 nights, which were equally good, especially considering the price. In general, the price is superb...

I initially booked for 6 nights but ended up staying for 11. I loved how it was overall convenient to stay there. It's located right across Karon beach so at night people sometimes didn't even bother to put their slippers on to go the the beach cause that's how close it was. The comfortable brand-new beds, sofas and beanbags. The interior design with calming colors and...

Have to walk around 5 minute to go to bangla road. So im very recommend for those who come to patong, phuket. Just a nice place to stay. But the receptionist not open 24/7. If you want to check out early before 9am,you need to inform to them or you dont get your deposit back.

This was the best hostel I have stayed in while traveling all around south east Asia. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and strategically placed for maximum privacy. On top of that, there were privacy curtains, usb charging outlets, and a light for each form bed. Then bathrooms were clean and modern. There was breakfast every morning and 24 hour staff ser...
Traveler impressions of Phuket
I guess it was a wrong choice to visit Phuket city as there wasn't much to explore within city and considering the fact the places that we wanted to visit were situated far away from our hotel and taxi fares were too expensive.
Truth be known even though both of the hotels I stayed at were clean and comfortable, I doubt I will ever return to Phuket.
Phuket is blessed with many beautiful beaches and islands nearby. It also have good facilities and amenities.
Phuket is land of excellent beaches. There are lots of activities to be done like elephant trekking,go-karting,bunjee jumping.
Phuket Town just barely functions....Traffic on the whole island is a nightmare...very crowded place.
Phuket is blessed by serene ambience & sunny beaches. Attractions like Krebi, Phang na Phi Phi etc keep you spell bound!
Beautiful city with lovely and much needed cleaning beaches.Have lovely bars and seafood restaurants.
quite commercialise but that is why is more happening place compare to other stand alone islands. price getting higher compare to smaller town in thailand.
People visit Phuket because of beaches. Not much comment at Phuket city as only spend short period of time there.
We've stayed at 2 hotels in Phuket one is in Patong and the other one is in Laguna. The difference about the two is that Patong would cater more from the young adults to a more mature crowd, who wanted to party and experience the local food.
You love it or not. You can go for partying or with your family and enjoy a calm stay with enjoying the Thai kindness.
Phuket has many amusement parks and natural surrounding with a lot of cultural history and backgrounds connected with it.
Phuket, the city for everybody. Beach, Jungle, Town, all in one. You can go for day trip to the beach and sea for snorkling or scuba.
Phuket is full of fun, Atv, flying hanuman, water park, spas, restaurants, water sports, shopping, beaches.
Place for party oriented people or for people planning to spend time only on the beach. For family vacation, I preferred Ao Nang and Phi Phi.
A great place to stay, excellent food, beautiful beaches and water activities. A bit on the primitive side so this may not be for everyone and could be challenging for young families - although many Europeans were there with their families.
There are many places to visit for shopping, eating and sight seeing. It is best to rent a car so that you can travel to any place you like.
Phuket is expensive for Malaysian as most of the things there are expensive. The food is extremely expensive coz they treat us like we are from UK or US.
Small and easy to travel around without fear of getting too lost! Worth a visit for a relaxing, short trip (:
Phuket is a nice place with nice beaches. Lots of shopping can be done here and lots of eating places to from.
The food and shopping at Patong Beach area is too pricey. I was surprised to find the price of food is equivalent or more expensive than Singapore.
If we talk about Phuket town only i reccomend to stay in town for a few days. Old centre is unic, so narrow and cute streets, many cute restorans with a delicios food and special atmosphere.
bangla road is interesting but not for young nor older children but makes for a fun night out with friends.
an excellent holiday destination with something for everyone.. by far the biggest drawback on phuket is the extortionate price of taxis and tuk-tuks.
it's a great place for a holiday.. don't use taxis without meters or tuk-tuks.. grabtaxi now available- use instead
Staying mainly in the Patong district, would recommend for the nightlife and eating. Transport to the tourist areas ie.
Get the wifi sim card at the airport to give you a sense of security when traveling Get a hotel near patong beach, theres where all the best attractions and activities are Those packages that you sign up for to visit the islands, you can bargain for cheaper rates, but as you are there to relax and enjoy the nightlife, don't sign up.
Very commercial. Pleople are not so friendly when you try to bargain to have the price you know you should have - some of them seem to think that you've never lived or travelled before and they are quite condescending and laugh in your face.
A more culturally diverse group is now visiting Phuket, since the Ruble has declined significantly in value.
Great Hospitality, Great Preservation of Culture, Hot bodies at Patong Beach :), Great Foods, Cheaper Stuff, Great Entertainment.
