“Location, facility, urban.”
If you are young, fun, exploring, family staycation this hotel is on ypur considerations.
1. The location is superb, near 2 MRT station which are Blue Downtown line Bencolen and Orange Brass basah.
Just mention exit NaFa or Nanyang University or Lazada one .
Both of it got lift and escalator for handicap and luggage services.
2. Hotel itself was very easy to spot , jist look up high there is a big sign of LYF at its building.
Located surrounding of mart, restaurant , cafe, bar and walkable distance to famous Kwan Im Budda temple or Hindu temple, food market and can gi straight to Bugis MRT and mall.
3. I am a solo traveller so my room off course a bit thight,I think it was depend on type of your desire.
But off course all are pricey in Singapore but bed linen towel all smell clean and fresh, even thought the make up room is base on schedule not in every single day.
4. Room facility with water filter claim that tap water can be drink directly, mini fridge, safe lock, toilet amneties must request on front desk beside of soap shampoo are provided in bathroom.
Hairdryer included, the aircond and hot water presure is a max factor of good.
5. Despite of the pricey and small room, hotel provided ironing board, microwave and refrigerator on 5th floor and best part are medium kitchen can be use at level 2 , free 24h coffee and tea (the strawberry pu er is d best), sparkling water dispencer, big fridge, oven, toster, microwave, wasing basin, hot water kettle just be like sharing kitchen and bonding area.
6. FYI, if you arrive by car there was no drop Off in front of hotel, all must go to level 2 parking lot for pickup and drop off you will see a kitchen glass door for enter. Meanwhile lobby was at level 1.
7. Hotel security is good each lift tap with room card key.
8. Even thought there was some rules like "booking name must align same with passport checkin", and several things that made the staff look a bit thight behavior .
But once you stay will feel like share house but private room.
7. Mini gym with one or two jogging track and severalweight equipment sharing with laundry room . My opinion it is a sweat room join with laundry room in a very small area Yes you can SMELL WIERD ODOR.
8. Checkout proses is quick there was a drop key box.
So everything was just fine with my stay, I love it, comfortable, its fun

“Great Stay”
Lyf Bugis strikes just the right balance for a co-living concept hotel. The room I had ("One of a Kind" I think it was called) was roomier than I expected. I had ample space with a queen-sized bed, good natural light from the window, and good desk space. For me, as long as I have a private bathroom and a well-appointed room, I'm happy. Yes, the bathroom was on the small side (I'm a big guy) but it was totally fine, water pressure was very strong and hot water was very hot. Lobby was very nice, staff were very professional, and the bar actually feels very upscale (I went on a Saturday night and the live music was top notch).
A few small points that the hotel could consider for improvement:
- For a co-living space, I think the kitchen/work area could be spruced up a bit. Since there's no natural light, perhaps a brighter and airier feel would make it more welcoming for folks working there.
- The room was great, but a shower curtain or door btn. the toilet and shower would help minimize water splash. I know it's a wet room concept, but there's enough space to make it work.
- The outlets and light switches at the desk (at least in the room I had) were very far away from the bed itself. This made it difficult/impossible to charge my phone next to the bed and turn off the lights from bed.
These are minor points - I think the Lyf struck a perfect balance for co-living and am looking forward to staying again. In the end, it's basically a full hotel but with housekeeping every third day and additional working spaces. If you need a large room with all the amenities of a luxury hotel, this might not be for you, but you'd be mistaken for thinking this is a fancy hostel. It is lightyears better and more comfortable than a hostel.

“Fantastic Experience in the Heart of Bugis”
We stayed at Lyf Bugis for 4 nights and overall had a wonderful experience. From reception to housekeeping, the service was consistently warm and efficient. We were even able to check in an hour early thanks to being a member through their app — a great perk!
The rooms are basic but clean, comfortable, and well-designed. One thing we really loved was the strong water pressure in the bathroom — it made every shower feel amazing. We also made good use of the common kitchen, which is fully equipped with everything you need (just bring your own food). The self-service laundry on the 3rd floor was also very convenient.
The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the middle of Bugis, with a nearby hawker center that’s great for exploring local Singaporean food. Everything is accessible and walkable.
The only downside during our stay was one Malay staff member who came off as unfriendly, but aside from that, the rest of the team was excellent.
Overall, Lyf Bugis is a great place to stay, and we would definitely book again. Next time, we’ll make sure to try their buffet breakfast too!
