Nice hotel at a great location”

Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore is strategically located next to Orchardgateway mall and above the Somerset train station. It's also a stone throw's away from various other attractions along Orchard Road including Kinokuniya book store, Chef Wan's restaurant in Plaza Singapura, Movie cinemas and the Shaw House and Centre. Hotel rooms offer great views of downtown Orchard Road and the bright lights of Singapore in the evenings. Hotel room amenities include complimentary WiFi, Mini bar, Flat screen TV with personalised welcome message, alarm clock, safe, water boiler and toiletries. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool that enables guests to have a great view of the city. On a clear day, Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa Island is also visible. Other facilities and services this hotel has include 24-hour room service, restaurants and massage services. I often travel to Singapore and Hotel Jen Orchardgateway will be my preffered choice of stay.

Great location, great hotel”

I stayed 4 nights and loved it. I caught the MRT from Changi Airport as the hotel is located above Somerset MRT Station with lift access to the hotel lobby on the 10th floor. Check in was straightforward however my room was not ready. The front office manager Sylvester apologized profusely and ushered me to the lounge bar as I was a bit thirsty. No sooner had I recieved my Tiger beer & my room was ready. I went to settle my bill but it was already paid, cheers for that. The room 1863 was spacious and well appointed. Shower & bathroom were well sized with great pressure & hot water No items in the minibar apart from the free water but the 711 at the MRT sells beer & there is a vending machine when you exit the lift with drinks & snacks. I didn't use the restaurant on the 10th floor but it looked busy most times. There are many places to eat and drink close by on Orchard Road. The infinity pool & bar on the roof was great, spectacular views toward Marina Bay & the CBD both day & night perfect viewing with a cold beer. They also have a snack menu up there. At check out the Duty Manager apologized again for having to wait 5min for my room to be ready. The location of this hotel is only 1 of the great things about this hotel & I have no hesitation in recommending and re-booking Hotel Jen Orchardgateway for my next trip to Singapore. AAA+

Great Location and nice hotel!”

My husband and I stayed here for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary. Hotel Jen Orchardgateway was such a nice place. Really clean, comfortable rooms, excellent Orchard location and a nice infinity pool. Hotel Jen was nice to give us a complimentary cake with balloon greeting and cute bucket filled with chocolate candies too. It was so thoughtful of them and for an upcoming hotel, I think its really value for money. I have already started recommending this place to my friends. What are you waiting for? :)

Location, Location, Location!”

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore and will be back again. The hotel is located right on top of the mall and MRT on Orchard Road with fantastic views of the city. The hotel is clean and modern with well sized rooms, a fantastic rooftop pool deck and bar, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great”

I stayed at the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore for one night arriving late in the evening. However, brcause of the excellent location on Somerset / Orchard road this didn't seem to matter. I went out for a short walk admiring all the street decorations. In short, location is the best (also MRT is right beneath th hotel), hotel staff are professional, hotel condition is excellent, rooms are good value for money and on the top floor is a great infinity pool with a view.

Fresh, easy, modern, clean”

I absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed here for a one day stop over with my 2 and 4 year olds. The pool is perfect for young children, the food is delicious and the staff all friendly and accommodating. Rooms comfortable and well appointed - all very well taken care of. Check in and check out super efficient. I love the shangri la in Singapore and the Jen is like it’s cool younger cousin.

Great new hotel at a great location.”

Being a new hotel, it ticks all the boxes you can expect and provides some added benefits on top. Needless to say that with a new hotel comes all the benefits from being new: Impeccable room, enthousiastic staff and great comfort. Needless to say that the location is of course unbeatable, on top of MRT and shopping centres. Nice new features that I haven't seen before in Singapore hotels are the trolleys and the bike rental option at the entrance. Check in/out was easy, but some queing at checkout time. Breakfast was not in the hotelrate, but provided in the restaurant. Great location for exploring the Orchard area. I was surprised by the good size of the room, however, as I imagined it did not have access to a balcony, which might be visible at the photos. A vending machine with a very wide range of beverages compensates the emty fridge and there is the possibility to get ice from another machine. Will stay at Jen again. Summarising it: Top scores for all the major parts you want to see in a hotel combined with zero flaws: Location, staff, infrastructure, services, benefits all big 9's.

It was sure a memorable one definately! This was our 3rd stay at Hotel Jen Orchardgateway! Looking forward for more staycation there! The food, services, swimming pool oh well simply everything were superb! It was beyond our expection! And of cause we make new friends with the staffs there too! And now planning to go back there for a longer staycations! Till we meet again Hotel Jen OrchardGateway!

Good hotel at perfect place”

My experience was a great one as my husband and I travel to Singapore on the second day of our wedding. We were tired and expected a relaxed trip to have a good rest. Hotel Jen really helped us to do so. The room was clean and tidy with necessities. The room was quiet and the isolation of sound was good. The staffs were very friendly and patient. We always like to choose those what we called business casual hotels, which would be very reliable and not so expensive. Hotel Jen was a very good choice based on our needs. The location was very awesome. It has 2 shopping malls, 313@Somerset and Orchard Gateway nearby, where you may find plenty places to dine and shop. The MRT station just next to the Ground Floor lobby. As it is located in the city center, it wouldn't waste you much time in transit if you want to go some place to see, such as Singapore Zoo (takes around 1 hour) and Sentosa (takes around 30 minutes). I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and hope I could stay here again in my next trip to Singapore.

Great location, comfortable bed”

While Hotel Jen is by Shangri-La, one would be disappointed if the expectations are of the traditional Shangri-La level. It is not. However, the price which one pays is also not of the same range as Shangi-La's. Based on these premise, Hotel Jen at Orchard Gateway is a nicely located hotel on Orchard Road with above average amenities. The rooms are not large by Asian standards, and there is not a lot of privacy for two in the room. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are surprisingly nice to sleep on. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at if location is more important than luxury for the price.

Couldn't Fault a single thing - Amazing ”

Our stay here was AMAZING - from check-in to being dropped back at the airport to go home, everything about this hotel was warm, accommodating & memorable. The hotel was clean & bright, the staff were friendly & ever so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food at all venues was lovely & there was a huge variety, even for my son who has specific dietary requirements, the options were so varied - we were able to find him food at every meal. Our room was amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will never stay in another hotel in Singapore again - Hotel Jen by far exceeded our expectations on every level.

I would definitely go back to Jen Hotel Orchardgateway. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, although the room is sort combined together with the restroom. The location is very good, you have access to the MRT straight away and taxi stand is also nearby. A lot of malls around also, so it's easy to get around. Enjoyed our stay there. Thanks!

This is my second time staying at Hotel Jen Orchardgateway and I would go back again. The room is spacious and well-appointed, although unless you're traveling with someone you're intimate with (or solo like me), the toilet/shower layout might cause awkwardness. I have small complaints: stains on the wallpaper, but I dont lose sleep over it; the measly number of TV channels, and on the last night of my stay, housekeeping did not wash the mugs in my room. An irritating oversight. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay. And you must check out the rooftop pool.

Reasonably comfortable 4-star hotel”

A nice 4-star hotel. Staff at check-in desk was friendly. Nevertheless, when we asked for a room on a higher floor, the lady told us that there was a room on certain floor which we could have but we have to add some money for the upgrade. Don't think this is the appropriate response to guest's request. A good hotel would either offer free upgrade or simply just tell the guest the highest possible floor is XXX. Anyway, the room is of normal size, but not much space to put 2 large-sized luggages. The room is reasonably comfortable and clean, but the toilet floor was not cleaned properly. Air-conditioner was working fine, but sometimes either a bit too cold or a bit too warm. Couldn't really adjust the temperature to be just right. Maybe it was the room decor/style/colour, the room could appear a little bit old. But actually the hotel was pretty new. Sometimes not enough hot water. Location is great though - right in the heart of Orchard. About 5 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station as the hotel is practically just above the MRT station. There are many shopping centres around with a lot of different types of restaurants and eateries around. In-room dining was pretty good. Things which could be better: The bed and pillows are too soft for me. The hotel lobby is on 10th floor of a shopping mall Orchardgateway, so you need to take the lift to 10th floor first, then take another lift to get to your hotel room. Kind of troublesome. Besides, you need to wait for a very long time for the lift.

Best hotel in Orchard”

It was one of our best stay in Singapore. We were welcome to have early check in because the staff knew that we were celebrating our anniversary. The staffs even surprised us with thoughtful messages, balloon and fruits while we were away from the room. Very sweet thoughts! Totally appreciate that. The room is modern and Cosy where I felt comfortable to even stay in the room myself. The sad thing about the room is that we didn't have a good window view, it was blocked by the rooftop of another building. We tried the seafood buffet in Makan@Jen. Very worth for money if you are seafood lovers for Alaska crab legs and lobsters! Extremely friendly staffs who attend to your needs and remove your plates quickly. Very pleasant dinning experience. I like the vibrant colors of the pool, didn't really soak myself in that atmosphere as we were running a tight schedule. Overall the hotel left us with a very positive experience!

First time stay in Singapore. Great hotel choice”

It was difficult choosing a hotel in Singapore when there are so many. I chose Hotel Jen based on the location and price. I booked a Panorama Club room which was a bit larger than the normal rooms. The room is very nice and modern. Motorized window shades, TV built into the bathroom mirror. Manual bidet. I had a low floor, so the view wasn't spectacular but it was nice having large windows all around. The club was a decent size, with a decent selection of food options for a 4 star hotel. The view up in the club was much nicer than the room. There's a gym but I didn't partake. The rooftop pool has a fabulous view of the city and you can order drinks and food up there. The breakfast buffet was above average. Staff were friendly. Location is good, right above a large mall on Orchard as well as next to MRT. Easy getting a taxi or walking to many food options.

We really enjoyed our stay in Singapore at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway. Initial Check-in was prompt however the Superior King Cityview room we had booked on Agoda was apparently "not available" and I was offered 2 single beds joined together. After pressing the point that I had booked and wanted a king bed, one was somehow made available which makes me wonder if the room was downgraded but either way the room was pretty flash and luxurious. We stayed for 3 nights and we were impressed with all the Hotel had to offer. The staff here are incredibly friendly and all staff acknowledged us at every passing. The hotel is really convenient being on top of the Orchard Gateway Mall, and Somerset MRT. The facilities are very clean and well presented. The rooftop pool and its view is a stunning place to relax for a few hours and the gym is well equipped. We never tried the dining at the hotel, although the restaurant looked pretty nice. I would love to have stayed a little longer and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a few days of relaxation.

Perfect Staycation”

Eventually this is our 2nd stay at Hotel Jen Orchardgateway and it never fails to impress us! Our 1st stay when we had our candlelight dinner and it was the most memorable stay ever. Our 2nd stay when we brought our lil prince along and yes, he's sure loving the stay too! Oh yes, looking forward to more stay at Jen! Both thumbs up, Jen! (:

Fun filled staycation”

This is one of the best staycation that I had with my family in Singapore. The hotel really ensure you feel welcomed from the moment you step in with helpful staff directing you to various counters. Stayed at the premier panorama room and I am impressed with the excellent view of orchard road it offers. The location of the hotel is simply superb as its directly link with somerset MRT station and provide direct access to orchard gateway, 313 somerset and orchard central. I recommend anyone who stay in this hotel to go to the rooftop swimming pool and club lounge that offer panoramic view of orchard road and Singapore skyline. The breakfast at makan@jen is also sumptuous with a good mix of both local and international cuisine as its Christmas, Santa Claus also arrived to take pics and give out gifts for the children. My kid totally enjoy her stay and interaction with Santa. Definitely will be back again for staycation.

Better than the photos”

Having previously been to Singapore and staying in some very fancy hotels, I was pleasantly surprised with Hotel Jen. By far the cleanest hotel I've ever been in, I could've licked the shower floor. The location was perfect, right next to the train station, a taxi stop and Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Sadly we were only here for 2 nights so we didn't get to make use of the pool but we did go up to check out the view and was quite shocked, comparable to Marina Bay Sands at half the price. Better yet, the pool shuts at 11pm and you wont be fighting for a spot to sit
