Perfect cozy hut to enjoy pai life”

Pai country huts were recommended by friends who had stayed previously and we were so pleased they did. The huts themselves were comfortable and clean, the surroundings were beautiful and quiet yet the vibe was still social, we met plenty of other happy travellers staying there. I didn't feel short changed by not having breakfast included, it's so close to walking street (just over the river, over a lovely bamboo bridge). In fact it worked in our favour not having a bar or restaurant there as we were able to relax on the balcony with our own food & drink without question. And there was free tea coffee and water all day! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We treated ourselves to a hut with private bathroom but the shared facilities for the cheaper huts were a good standard. I'd highly recommend pai country huts to couples, groups and solo travellers alike. Thank you so much ☺

A Community Experience at Pai Country Hut”

Mik and Toey were extremely hospitable and did everything they possibly could to make their guests comfortable. Because of their kindness and goodness, a sense of community develops at Pai Country Hut. Even though people stayed for different periods of time, and came from all over the world, we jelled and I believe that was due to how open Mik and Toey are plus the fact that huts are situated in a semi-circle so that we got to know each other. The location is perfect, just across the river, easily accessible on foot or scooters to the town. Mik knows a great deal about the town since he was born in Pai and is able to find places for visitors and to recommend places according to visitors' needs. I can honestly say this was the best place I have ever stayed because of the spirit of the couple who own and run it.

Natural at its best. Cute and endearing. ”

Pai country hut is the story of how a Pai's local returned home after his studies in Chiang Mai and built this hotel which utilizes natural materials such as bamboo in its design. I love lying on the hammocks reading books. And do not overlook the swing under the tree close to the entrance that is lit up every night. And check out the book shelf - there's a surprise there for those who loook :) My only complaint would be that it was too hot without AC for me to sleep in the afternoon in this hottest period in Thailand in 60 years.

Beautiful setting in Pai”

Pai country huts were a great place to stay with beautiful gardens surrounding the accommodation compared to many other nearby sites. The huts were basic but comftorable and the communal showers were new and very clean. Super close to the main walking streets of town but very quiet still. Would reccommend for sure!!

Nice huts, good location, not too far away from the walking street”

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Pai Country Hut. It’s a very lovely place. Warning: #1) there was a bar close by that played loud music until 11:30pm or 12am. #2) there were 2 nights we had a BIG SPIDER in our room, 1 night it was in the bathroom and the other night it was on the bed. So If you’re a difficult sleeper or scared of spiders this is probably not the place for you.

Great place in Pai”

We had a great stay at Pai Country Hut. The bungalows are cute, comfortable and a great place to relax. The personal hammock is especially nice. The staff were really friendly and the free tea, coffee and water was a great addition. We plan to stay here again when we come back to Pai.

Relaxing oasis in Pai”

Loved the Pai Country huts. Super close to the town and really quiet. The mosquito net is much needed at night. The hammock at the front of the hut is super amazing. Would recommend. (Just bring loads of mosquito repellant to Pai!)

Great value for money!”

Pai Country Hut is in a great location, less than 5 minutes to the walking street on foot but still really quiet and peaceful. The free breakfast was perfect and our bungalow was lovely. Would recommend!

Local cute hut in a quiet corner of Pai”

The hut is so cute and located in a quiet location of Pai. It is also just 5 mins walk to the minivan station (the public van to Chiangmai city), and the walking street, very convenient! We would definitely stay here again if we visit Pai. One note, the shower of the room#102 is not very good at the time we stayed, seems the water pressure was quite low so the water came out in a small amount. It took me a while to wash my hair though. This may need to be fixed.

Pai Country hut is located very close to the main walking street and the river. Perfect location for anyone wanting to experience the night in Pai. The bungalows are basic but accomodating. I had a shared bathroom and it was decent. Pai is super cheap so it could be considered a bit pricey if you're an extremely budgeted traveler. I enjoyed my front porch with a hammock a lot. The staff was nice and the free coffee and tea was a nice extra. Very relaxing and quiet place but close to everything at the same time. Recommend it.

Bamboo -paradise ”

Pai country hut was one of the best places we've stayed in Thailand so far. It felt like a little piece of paradise. Just a 3 minute walk from the main shopping road.

Neat Bungalows Excellent Location”

We have stayed in many a bungalow in our time in Thailand and the ones at Pai Country Hut are among the best. These were a little expensive over high season but the standard and cleanliness of both the grounds and the rooms is excellent. The location is also excellent, a short 100m walk across the bamboo bridge into town meaning that you don't have to have your own transport unless you want to travel out of town for other sightseeing. The place also offers a basic breakfast for all guests. We would definitely recommend this place.

Loved our stay at Pai Country. It's close enough to town (just across the small bamboo bridge, which is an experience all in it's own) but far enough that you get peace and quiet. Hut was basic but lovely. Mossie net and hot water, hammock on the porch. Staff was nice as well. Resort does not have a restaurant but we were in town all the time anyways. They do offer free coffee and tea which is a nice touch. Huts set in a garden..nicer than some of the others on this side of the river that are set in just a field in the hot sun. Good budget option overall!

Relaxing, clean and quiet bungalows ”

So relaxing here. I absolutely loved my stay at hotel Pai. Me and my brother stayed in a double hut. It's basically, but super clean and updated. Comes with a mosquito net and we had a clean shared bathroom outside. Hot water showers. A hammock on our porch. Sooo relaxing I would come back again. It's a 3 min walk from the main walking street where you can find shops and the night market that is the best street food in thailand. When full, they recommended a place down the street. Basic breakfast included.

Heaven on earth”

I spent 4 nights in the huts last week. I can't say anything bad about this place. Lovely location, views, staff and the most relaxing place I have visited on my travels so far. It's peaceful and the bed is so comfortable. The ideal place to chill but is close enough to the centre of Pai to walk.

Nice accommodation with really cute bungalows surrounded by nice green areas - run by so nice staff! Placed on the other side of Pai River, just over the bridge, makes it placed in the center yet it’s quiet at night. The place is clean and well kept - we did stay much longer than intended - not just because of the hotel of course since Pai is such a nice place!! But it helped :)

I stayed at the country hut for 4 nights, the bungalows are located 2 mins walk from the main streets yet being so quite. The gardens are well maintaintec and the staff are so friendly. I would defiantly stay here again.

Exceptional”

Lovely little huts with ensuite. Comfortable, clean & helpful staff. Also very close to Pai village, so great location. Only complaint was noise at night. Walls paper thin so little privacy.

2 sisters and a baby ”

We stayed in a hut with a shared bathroom and it was great. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. The grounds are so clean and well kept. They would clean the bathroom a couple of times a day so it was never dirty. These are basic huts with a bed, fan and a hammock but in a very relaxing and peaceful environment. They are located 1 minute from the bridge that takes you into the heart of the town. I would stay here again no questions asked!

Relaxing clean bungalows ”

Loved our stay here and extended our booking as we didn't want to leave pai or these bungalows. Pro -amazinf location just walk over the bamboo bridge at the end of the walking street/night market Street and right around the corner is the hotel. Great because it's so close to the centre of town but way quieter -beautiful property and well maintained. -bungalow was clean and had no problem with any bugs coming in -the one male staff at reception was so helpful! I got sick the last day and he let me check out late because I was throwing up and came to check on me. Thank you! -free continental breakfast; coffee and hot Coco all day Cons -non, unless you see shared bathrooms as one but you can book ones with a bathroom. The shared ones were clean and never had to wait once! Love this place!
