"Brand new hotel, the room is quite small but for the price it's really worth it. We stayed at connecting King and twin room. The king room is bigger which is very good to put our luggages there. Bed is normal. Toilet shower change to very hot suddenly when showering. Location is the best thing about this hotel. It's just few step away from 3 mega shopping malls with food court and branded shops. 4 to 5 massage place just beside the hotel. Naraya Is also along the street. There are few Japanese restaurants too which open till late. Staffs are very polite.. Always greeting us with the warmest smile. We had croissant at the bar at lobby, a lady with short hair served us on 31st Jan around late afternoon was really friendly and polite. We are very impressed with her service level. Would recommend my friends to stay at this hotel! ibis guests had to pay for pool and gym access as its for mercure guests. "

"Hotel is in a OK location; not many street vendors around this area off hours; Terminal 21 is probably your best bet for restaurant quality food. Hotel is very clean, every time I turn my head, you can see some staff cleaning something. The facilities itself is somewhat mixed. Their fitness room is ok size; compared to JW Marriott gym, Radisson looks small. They have a few bikes, and some limited weights. Their steam and sauna room are nice, ironically they don't have a Jacuzzi. The hotel room is nice; the power roll up shade for the bathroom window makes the room look a lot bigger. The bathroom was very nice (although the shaving mirror was broken, but no big deal) and good water pressure. The room's A/C control was pretty non existent; it was either too hot or too cold; the thermostat wasn't able to keep it at a consistent temperature even with the fan set to auto. The smart TV worked well; in fact all the HD channel came in clear; there's a break out box on the bench where you can plug an HDMI and various connectors to the TV.. very convenient. Bed wise, it was very comfortable with the right amount of firmness. The L-Shape softa was nice to sit and read or relax, but I would have prefer if there were options to adjust the lights a bit brighter.. lights were plenty but pretty dim. In room dining is lack luster; if you're hungry at 2:00AM in the morning, don't expect much variety. Staff here are very friendly and helpful though. In terms of restaurant, the China Table has very good dim sum, and their entree was great; one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bangkok. Their 26 Bites buffet was ok, nothing great. I would rank this second behind JW's buffet. The roof top beer bar was a nice relaxing atmosphere. You get a city view of Bangkok; go there around 2100 hours, have a beer and a snack for a good way to wind down. Would I stay here again? Probably because I think there's quite a bit of nice hotels in this area. Nothing against the hotel, but just lots of "

"while reading the information of hotels i saw that the german people are lower down with praise compared with people of other countries. but this hotel is good for praise. the pictures promise a nice hotel which i could get for a cheap price. and they do not promise too much. for me regarding the public traffic the hotel was located only by 10 minutes of walking from the crossing point asok of the sky train and the underground. it is not very easy to find among the other houses of the side street of the very busy sukhumvit road. but when (sometimes) a waiter opens the door for you then you leave the busy street with the small selling and cooking points behind you and you enter a hotel with the flair of an old “grand hotel” in good condition. in the entrance hall you find people for good service and walls covert with good wood works. and on that place where the most hotels have long floors along the rooms in this hotel you find a big light hall with floors to the rooms at both sides. at the one side of this hall at the ground floor level they built a little but nice inside garden. at the other side of this hall at the first floor there is a nice room for breakfast. breakfast was included by the low price of the hotel. we could choose between a selection of bread and toasts, corns and some food like the germans take for dinner. and a friendly cook makes fried eggs and omelets for you how you like it. the only bad point at this place: the floor covered with carpets is not good for a restaurant with self-service. at the walking area there were a lot of dirty spots. it seems that it would be very difficult getting away that spots. and another good thing: in the entrance hall you can get one of the two computers with internet access for free. maybe i stay a next time in bangkok. then i will take this hotel again every time."

"We had two wonderful nights at this hotel. I doubt one can find another 5-Star hotel in Bangkok as good as this one for the same price. Certainly exceeded our expectations. All staff members are very professional and courteous. The gentlemen at the concierge are always there to greet when guests leave or enter the hotel. The hotel is very clean & beautifully decorated. Our room (deluxe) was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the biggest and most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all amenities, but enjoyed the varied options at breakfast and the pianist that plays in the lobby area. I can not fault this hotel on anything. The location is perfect. Only a five-minute walk to the Emquartier mall and BTS. The only thing which was not so satisfactory is that we (non-smokers) were given a smoking room and unless the a/c was on the smell was really strong. I may have overlooked this detail whilst booking, so no fault of the hotel’s. "

"I had two separate stays at new Skyview in the last two weeks! The staff are attentive, pleasant, professional and well trained. This is a 5 star hotel by American standards. I suspect the rates are low since Skyview is a new hotel and not well known. The location is EXCELLENT. My 2nd stay was in the Club Grand Executive King, which is a beautiful suite with a two person soaking tub, large shower, double vanity, large bedroom and very comfortable bed (well suited for honeymooners or a couple). First stay was in the standard room which also was great, just smaller and no tub. Well appointed, fast WIFI, great weight/exercise room, and clean, clean, clean. Had a great steak dinner (best in Thailand) at the onsite Prime Steakhouse. Breakfast is a full buffet with plenty of choices, fresh juices, egg station, pancakes, waffles, fruit... Only negative was that the Skyview lounge on top floor was not opened yet. This is easily my favorite hotel. I will stay here every time in Thailand. My thanks to the management, you've earned a perfect score in my opinion."
