"In fact I was very pleased. Got down at Don Muang Airport and the taxi took us to the hotel at 450 Baht. The staffs were very friendly and we felt welcomed. Any negative remarks made by any other people that had stayed in the hotel were merely false allegations. The room size was a little small, but pleasant enough to stay. 24 hours of aircon, 24 hours of wifi (per pax is given 24 hours of free wifi), nice shower area and it fits exactly what I needed. The hotel is stragetic. Located within short walking distance from BTS Asoke and walkable to Terminal 21 shopping centre. Overall, I loved Tune Hotel Asoke. The best is I love their speedy responsiveness to me via email, prior to me coming to BKK as this is my first trip there. To the frontdesk Manager, thank you for all the clarifications made via email before I came check-in to your hotel. One thing to note about Tune Hotel Asoke. Check out is at 11:00am BKK. Don't ask stupid questions like late check-out, etc etc. This is only a 3 star hotel, it's meant to fit travellers need and dont expect world class service. If you need a lot of special requests, then consider booking a 5-star-hotel."

"I really enjoyed my stay here and am already booked to go back two times. This hotel is a splurge for me since I am traveling for a year but I still think it's a great value and so nice to have a modern clean cool room to come back to in Bangkok. After not having wifi for 3 weeks I literally sat in my room and got caught up with my writing and planning. I did think the food was expensive, and the mini fridge too, but I think it goes with a nice hotel in Bangkok. And it didn't stop me from utilizing both. The staff was lovely and let me use the pool for a few hours after I checked out. The location is great for cheap street food but the hotel has amazing food too. The buffet lunch is pricey for one person but really good. Nice huge television and very comfortable bed. Best sleep I have had in months."

"I fairly enjoyed my stay in this hotel as I like busy areas and the "fun" lifestyle. I don't necessarily mean drinking and girls, I mean just enjoyment out of the fact to see everyone is having a good time. Of course if you're looking for drinking and girls I'd say this is one area you'd find it. The Sois can be very smelly and dirty, so if you're looking for total relaxation with spas and great views, this place is not for you. There is everything you need nearby from this hotel, shopping right around the corner on Sukhumvit road if you enjoy bargaining, also a supermarket nearby that will also serve cafe style food (although I can't say the food is great there). The hotel is at a very manageable walking distance to the Nana BTS station, however if you do go during the hottest months like I did, even that short distance can take it's toll on you. So do take advantage of the free taxi service that drops you off right at the stairs to the Nana BTS station. The rooms are very new and very clean, however they are on the small side, I didn't mind that at all, as all I wanted the hotel for is a place to sleep. Speaking of sleeping, the beds aren't very soft, while they aren't rock solid, they are on the hard side, so make sure you don't mind a firmer bed. They do charge quite a lot for the internet, 100baht per hour, which is a lot of money considering all the internet cafes around are 1baht per min. I did use the internet anyways because I needed the comfort of the using the net from my room, the net fortunately was quite a fast connection. Overall nice new hotel in a convenient location, just don't stay here if you're after 5 star relaxation hotel."

"Upon booking in a the hotel, front desk informed me that my Cool room was not available but they upgraded my room to a Studio room for the full 3 days at NO charge. Hotel gives each room 2 free bottles of water per day. Free shuttle from hotel to Sukumvit road but you can walk distance in 5 - 6 minutes. Very good internet speed and access, no downtime on internet usage. It is very safe to walk down the lane late at night as other security staff about from other buildings in the area. Hotel is in a very quiet and safe area, no traffic or bar noise. All hotel staff, especially female reception personnel very polite, helpful and courteous. Management should provide female reception staff seating as staff have to stand up all day at the reception desk. I asked female hotel receptionist as to where I could get a SIM card for my cellphone. She directed me to any 7-11 convenience store on Sukumvit road. Cost for my SIM card was 50 baht and 100 baht for 100 minutes which was good for a month. Breakfast was very good, not a buffet but a la carte for the first 2 days. My 3rd day, hotel had implemented a full buffet breakfast with excellent food choices. Room was very quiet, NO noise from bars/street and no noise from other hotel guests. Washroom is very nice with waterfall shower. Security safe is located in the clothes closet and very easy to program. There was only 1 very small towel in my washroom but then realized later that there were additional large towels behind the bathroom door. Be advised that at my time of booking that Galleria will price match room rate against any other hotel booking site that beats Galleria posted rate on their website. If such would occur, hotel will also give guest an additional 10% discount upon booking through their website BUT you must contact the hotel's booking site by email prior to getting discount on room. Overall, I would consider hotel a very top-end 3 star hotel. I would definitely stay there again."

"A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room. The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division. They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here. The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse, one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation. "

"We moved to this hotel after 4 days staying in another hotel in Sathorn. We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel. The room is clean. The staff is really lovely, especially the receptionist. Located near Asork BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station, it is very easy to go everywhere in BKK from here. Nearby is Terminal 21, a trendy shopping mall. Emporium and the new luxury sister is just one station away, Phrom Pong. Shop 7Eleven is next to hotel. And the local food is just front of hotel, serving from late afternoon till midnight. For expensive dining you should go to Thong Lor, 2 station away, with many japanese restaurant and many trendy cafe along Thong Lor street."

"If you are traveling by yourself on vacation, this is the hotel for you in Bangkok. It is located a short 4 minute walk from Terminal 21, which is one of the best malls in Bangkok with an amazing food options. The hotel is also located right in between the two BTS skytrain stops Asok and Nana, so you can access either one to get to anywhere else in Bangkok very easily. I stayed in the modern chinese room and it was very small, but clean and efficient. There is No closet, fridge, or safe in the room, so know what you are booking. I had a backpack and 1 large checkin luggage and I was fine in this room. The AC works very well, and so does the wifi. Sometimes there can be street noise, so if you are a light sleeper, I would not book the city view room, because the cars going by will disturb you. You get 2 bottles of water, but they will no be cold because there is no fridge. There is no minibar. The service at this hotel has always been top notch. They have ALWAYS let me check in early when a room is available free of charge. They have even let me check out late at 130pm free of charge too, because my flight was leaving later that night. If you will to check out at 6pm, you can pay a half day, which is 700baht or $20USD. The staff is always nice and do what they can to assist you. The cleaning staff is always very kind and do a great job making your rooms each day. Just remember to put the tag outside your door so they know you want your room made. The roof top pool is also very nice. Easy way to get a nice tan. I would not recommend this hotel for family's as the rooms are very small. They may have bigger rooms, but do not book the modern chinese room if you are staying with children."
