What an amazing hotel! This hotel is beautiful! It is modern and the amenities are terrific. The gym is a good size, but it was hardly packed when I went, so I didn’t have any complaints. The pool is nice and small, but with beautiful scenery. The bar has a great selection of Thai food. Everyone in the hotel is very accommodating and very friendly. Even when I missed my first reservation and they canceled my hotel room, they were nice enough to get me another room. The original room that I booked was just as advertised, with one whole wall being window. The view is amazing. The bathroom is huge and has a place to sit in the shower! It was a busy weekend and I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel longer, so I booked at another hotel which I was very disappointed in. And then re-booked at the Solitaire. Next time I’m in Bangkok, which I hope is in a few months, I will book here again.

We booked 4 nights with this hotel , this hotel has all what a 5 star hotel requires . From the check in to check out you get 5 star service . Location is 15 miutes walk from bts but they offer you free shuttle every 20 minutes to the near Bts thonglo . Big mall are just 2 stations away . All cool restaurants , burger king , star bucks , mac donalds are 2 minutes away . Then this hotel offers Inhouse Onsen which amazing . They gave us a honeymoon welcome are room was fully decorated with flowers that was treat to see . We got room on 21floor the view was amazing . Breakfast is amazing . They almost have everything . Probably the best in the lot . I would definitly recommend this hotel for every person . And i will surely come back to this hotel . Cheers

Simply love the location! We've been visiting Bangkok very frequently and always stayed in a 5 star hotel in Chitlom. Just found out about Grand Centre Point Sukhumvit through my friend in facebook. It's the best hotel for our needs! We can take the MRT train from Sukhumvit station directly to Chatuchak market. Exit at Kamphangpetch station to section 24 where all the latest fashion stalls are situated. In the past, we usually take the BTS train from Chitlom to Mochit station then brave through the crowds and sun to transfer to another train using the MRT line to Kamphangpetch station. Appreciate the welcome platter of fresh fruits upon arrival. Spent the first few days playing with the electronic toilet. Love the microwave where we can heat up the Best Hot Chocolate that we bought from the Gourmet Supermarket at Terminal 21 Shopping mall. It was indeed very rich & yummy! We had a wonderful time swimming and soaking in the jucuzzi. Enjoyed the widespread morning buffet breakfast too! My only gripe is the water heater. The temperature kept fluctuating from very hot to very cold. It's frustrating having to spent the entire time adjusting it. I hope they'll address this problem soon as we're spending more time in the shower and wasting precious water. An ironing board with iron will be a bonus too especially we've bought tons of clothes and would love to wear them immediately after some light rinse. All in, we adore this hotel and have already booked flights to Bangkok in December!

think the place is new,even some taxi driver aint aware of the hotel. Arte already put up a lighted billboard outside the hotel entrance sio but seem that taxi driver are still missing them... not really too big of a problem..time will resolve this.. sound isolation is not too good... those that want a peaceful sleep will be wake up by occasion slamming of the door... maybe Arte need to recheck the door slam stopper... shower area may need a rubber wiper... after shower, the floor will have a layer of water.. a quick wipe will be better.... i dont mind doing it after every shower...it is better than getting a slip and fall inside the toilet.. the phone system is not very reliable and have to use handphone instead to make room-to-room call... not really a problem... the free credit i got from the AIS traveller sim is sufficient... Just within walking distance to Terminal 21 and Health Land. Breakfast variety can be better... not a problem for short stay.. but 5 nites... you will like to have more changes to the menu.... btw the noodle soup is really delicious...

i choose this hotel for some reasons: 1) place is within walking distance from BTS ThongLo and it is in the small soi that not so far from the main road. You get the quiet place but it is still easy to access. 2) it is in thonglor, means close to soi 38 where you can find the best gem of culinary (best mango sticky rice is there!!). I've stayed in salil for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Staff were nice, Mo my room assistant were so accomodating. But..., considering that this is a new hotel, so there's room for improvement; 1) It would be better if in the future they train the staff to speak in english to be able to easy and accomodate international guests. 2) Also, it will be good if they could improve on menu selection for breakfast. 3) Last, as many hotels has joined the Go Green movement by putting a note to every guest to reuse the towel to avoiding the laundry everyday. Other than that, everything in Salil is perfect and i will definitely recommend to everyone who needs advice where to stay when in Bangkok. Keep up the good work in the future aheads!

Location is excellent. Right in the middle of bangkok party and business district. Service and hospitality is impeccable. No complains about service. Sky train is literally 2 min walk to hotel. Very convient for those that want to sight see and visit areas of bangkok. ***Must recommend everyone to get the sky package. Spend the extra few dollars/money and believe me it's worth it. This is a win for my book, compared to all the other 5 star hotels, this is the best hands down in price, location, hospitality and service.

A new kid on the block this is a brand new hotel which is great for Soi 8 because all the other hotels here are quite old and dated. Soi 8 is a very peaceful & relaxing soi, the hotel is very close to restaurants and bars and 7/11's, Sukhumvit rd, Nana BTS etc. The room is huge, the bed is divine, the bathroom shower & huge bath are fantastic, huge flat screen tv, great couch, balcony, very nice kitchen with a huge fridge, unfortunately no microwave but has an electric stove top & kettle. Electric power points everywhere and 2 air conditioners! The staff are lovely and very friendly, leave your attitude at the door. I stayed only 3 nights but wish I had of stayed longer, undoubtedly one of the best value for money hotels I've stayed in after about 10 visits to Bangkok and the Sukhumvit area. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay at Phachara Suites. The Location is perfect. Close to the BTS which gives you access to everything in Bkk. For me the Nana BTS also has Superrich (the best foreign currency exchange) and D.Cup Cafe (the best coffee in Sukhumvit). The Hotel itself has excellent staff. From Chris (GM) to the very lovely reception staff, housekeeping and concierge. I couldn't fault them. They were all very professional, friendly and helpful. I stayed for 11 nights. First in a Studio Deluxe with bath (Room 1710), and then a Studio Deluxe with walk in shower (Room 1612). I have to say I much prefer the room with walk in shower. Im not a bath person. Having a suite style room was like being home away from home. Washing machine / dyer in the room is a HUGE plus, as was the large 45sqm room. Hot water & water pressure was strong in the Walk in shower room but week in the room with the bath. WIFI was strong in both rooms. Loved the pool area. Its big and half under roof if you want to escape the Bkk sun. In summary I can't fault Phachara Suites. In my opinion it deserves its high Agoda rating. I wouldn't hesitate to book again with an Agoda special.

A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room.The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division.They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here.The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse,one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation.

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and I can say with confidence that this is the best hotel in Bangkok. I had several needs that this hotel quickly accomodated. We needed to book some tickets to Siam Niramit and I inquired at the front desk, next thing I know we were booked and they wanted to give us directions which I already had. This is a soup to nuts hotel, if you need anything it will be done. The suite is a wonderfully decorated and functional room. It will not disappoint. Love the bidet toilet seats by Toto and the quality fixtures. The bar is a great place to grab a drink and enjoy the city view outside. The breakfast has just about everything you could want, but I try not to indulge too much and everything is just so tempting. I enjoyed the wonderful pool with a view. The internet always worked. The keycards never had a problem. I had numerous packages delivered here. I had several VIPs in Bangkok visit me here. Never a problem with them handling very expensive packages nor taking care of my friends who were always impressed when they came to visit. I didn't have to worry about them being rudely treated. So after all is said and done, don't even think twice about staying here. This should be your first choice, you will not be disappointed. I've traveled to Bangkok so many times and stayed at so many hotels here and this is at the top of the list.

We choose 137 pillars residence for our last night stay in Bangkok before flying back home and we were so happy with our choice. We stayed in a one bedroom residence, first we wanted to book a suite but the residence was totally fine, much better than we expected, we were on 22th floor and there was a small balcony with stunning view over Bangkok. It was very beautiful decorated, the size of residence is bigger than many other hotel rooms we had been with the same price (or higher) and what we really love are their bathroom amenities from panpuri and harnn!! The hotel itself is a luxury boutique hotel, the moment we entered the entrance we already felt relaxed. Staff are all very friendly, especially concierge I rate them with 6 stars, they are very helpful and I can tell that not every 5 stars hotel in Bangkok are like this. A big plus is that the hotel has a room on 27th fl. for after check-out you still can use the room to rest, taking shower etc. We will definitely come back again!

It was one of the best options in Bangkok for my requirements, Bangkok nightlife it is. Pros: - The hotel is rather high, so if you book a room on a floor 15+ you would have a good view on Bangkok; - both hotel towers have their own pool zones that are not on the ground level, which is also good; - the sky rail is easily accessible, about 2 minutes walk from the hotel; - there are several night clubs and rooftop bars nearby; - Nana Plaza is also close, about 5 minutes walk; - the room that I booked (Deluxe Suite) was very spacious with all the necessities (an iron and a board were a pleasant surprise); - no bad odors whatsoever; - absolutely no noise from the streets and surrounding areas; - big safe box that can store not only your wallet, documents and a camera but also several gaming laptops; - aircon is really quiet; - big mirrors in both rooms are conveniently placed and were pretty useful for me; - there is also no joiner fee, so you can call it a guest-friendly hotel; Cons: - interiors are pretty shabby: scratches and scuffs are everywhere on wooden surfaces. I have to mention that my opinion is based on the room that I booked (Deluxe Suite). There is a chance that if I to book another type of room my impression wouldn’t be the same; - the gym is terrible! Everything is old, matts are dirty and pillows on benches have a lot of cracks so the insides are exposed, the ceiling has signs of running water or something in the past; Not a con, just a note: I was asked for a deposit of 1000 baht, never happened to me before. The deposit was returned at the checkout of course.

Enjoyed our stay, booked 2 superior rooms,ask for same floor, 1 room king size bed, another twin bed for my kids Front desk staff name Ann (night shift) are super nice, she gave the rooms that we requested on booking promptly,room itself has all the amenities such as fridge,safe box,good aircon,free 4botles of water daily,change the bed linen and towels daily too..little downside is the soundprrof of room not quiet as we expected,still can hear door slams,maybe because room is very close to each other,but still okay though... Location is about 10 mins walks to bts asok/sukhumvit mrt,on the way to bts asok is terminal 21 mall,from asok you can go to every parts of touristy destination in bangkok To catch rail link station just 1 stop away from bts asok, off at petchaburi then transfer to rail link to suvarnabhumi airport Many massages shop around hotel,easy to get food,next door is 24h convinience store,pool is on 7 floor Check in n out was smooth,also concierge staff name Nut was very helpful,polite and tell us where is the best way to get to our destination Recommended hotel, we'll be staying in well hotel while we are in bangkok again. Little downside only dining room staff (Bfast time) hardly seeing smiles from them, even in the morning, where the day has just begun...

I really enjoyed my stay here and am already booked to go back two times. This hotel is a splurge for me since I am traveling for a year but I still think it's a great value and so nice to have a modern clean cool room to come back to in Bangkok. After not having wifi for 3 weeks I literally sat in my room and got caught up with my writing and planning. I did think the food was expensive, and the mini fridge too, but I think it goes with a nice hotel in Bangkok. And it didn't stop me from utilizing both. The staff was lovely and let me use the pool for a few hours after I checked out. The location is great for cheap street food but the hotel has amazing food too. The buffet lunch is pricey for one person but really good. Nice huge television and very comfortable bed. Best sleep I have had in months.

Save for the very far location from the city center, the hotel is a good deal for its elegance, large room and bath, sportscenter and gym, pools and attractive breakfast buffet. The big come on is the price because one pays for four star accommodations at two star prices. The staff, of Thai and Filipino nationalities, are very welcoming and do their best to make one's stay enjoyable. Taxies are available just outside the hotel though the hotel has access to its own for hire taxicabs that one can hire for special trips in and out of the city. Phra Kanong train station is about 500 meters walk but one must navigate a slightly perilous intersection to get there in one piece. For those arriving for the first time, a cab thru Sukhumvit will set you back by several bahts and minutes as the traffic can be unreasonable at almost all hours. The BTS train to Phra Kanong is the best way to get to the district. Besides , Sukhumvit main avenue is curiously mapped. All even numbered sois (streets) are on one side while the odd-numbered roads are on the opposite. However, they dont actually match. Across Sukhumvit soi 46, for instance, is still Sukhumvit soi 70 already.

You will be contnted on your choice of hotels with Jasmine suites. Very close to MRT and Asok BTS, 50 meters from the main road. Swimming pool and spa area with sauna in the ladies change room, i guess theres one in the mens changing room. the gym is quite large and well equipped although in the next building is a californa gym that will encourage even the laziest of us. The hotel staff were great after a few communication difficulties not enough staff speak english. The restaraunt provides excellent food at a great price. set breakfast can be purcashed for 300Baht, internet in the room is 350Baht a day. There are two computers in the lobby free and free wireless in the lobby and pool area. The pool is small but adequate. I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok this is one of the best for price location and stars. The ensuites both have huge baths with floor to ceiling windows and a great view over the city. We had a great stay and will come again.

my first stay at the royal benja in bangkok, probably my seventh or eighth visit to bangkok. of the hotels i've stayed at, i'd pick royal benja over all of them (except perhaps the j.w. marriott, but that hotel is in a radically different price range). it is conveniently located, about 2 blocks off sukhumvit rd, and about 3-4 blocks from the nana bts station so getting anywhere in bangkok is a breeze. it was also perfect for me since i booked a physical at bumrungrad international hospital, about 2 blocks away. a lot of bangkok hotels have tub/showers with tiny instantaneous water heaters. royal benja has both a tub and a separate walk in shower with great water pressure and as much hot water as you can take. after a 26 hour flight (counting layovers), it was great! my only disappointment was the included breakfast. i guess i have been spoiled by the montien in pattaya. the royal benja breakfast was fine, included the usual odd assortment of eggs, pancakes, and tossed green salad, just not expansive like some others. still i got plenty to eat.

Upon booking in a the hotel, front desk informed me that my Cool room was not available but they upgraded my room to a Studio room for the full 3 days at NO charge. Hotel gives each room 2 free bottles of water per day. Free shuttle from hotel to Sukumvit road but you can walk distance in 5 - 6 minutes. Very good internet speed and access, no downtime on internet usage. It is very safe to walk down the lane late at night as other security staff about from other buildings in the area. Hotel is in a very quiet and safe area, no traffic or bar noise. All hotel staff, especially female reception personnel very polite, helpful and courteous. Management should provide female reception staff seating as staff have to stand up all day at the reception desk. I asked female hotel receptionist as to where I could get a SIM card for my cellphone. She directed me to any 7-11 convenience store on Sukumvit road. Cost for my SIM card was 50 baht and 100 baht for 100 minutes which was good for a month. Breakfast was very good, not a buffet but a la carte for the first 2 days. My 3rd day, hotel had implemented a full buffet breakfast with excellent food choices. Room was very quiet, NO noise from bars/street and no noise from other hotel guests. Washroom is very nice with waterfall shower. Security safe is located in the clothes closet and very easy to program. There was only 1 very small towel in my washroom but then realized later that there were additional large towels behind the bathroom door. Be advised that at my time of booking that Galleria will price match room rate against any other hotel booking site that beats Galleria posted rate on their website. If such would occur, hotel will also give guest an additional 10% discount upon booking through their website BUT you must contact the hotel's booking site by email prior to getting discount on room. Overall, I would consider hotel a very top-end 3 star hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

We had two wonderful nights at this hotel. I doubt one can find another 5-Star hotel in Bangkok as good as this one for the same price. Certainly exceeded our expectations. All staff members are very professional and courteous. The gentlemen at the concierge are always there to greet when guests leave or enter the hotel. The hotel is very clean & beautifully decorated. Our room (deluxe) was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the biggest and most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all amenities, but enjoyed the varied options at breakfast and the pianist that plays in the lobby area. I can not fault this hotel on anything. The location is perfect. Only a five-minute walk to the Emquartier mall and BTS. The only thing which was not so satisfactory is that we (non-smokers) were given a smoking room and unless the a/c was on the smell was really strong. I may have overlooked this detail whilst booking, so no fault of the hotel’s.

i booked 7 rooms for 2 nights for a group of my colleagues on an overseas trip to bangkok. majestic grande is a great 4 star hotel in the heart of the sukhumvit district. very close to major attractions in bangkok (mbk, paragon, chinatown, pratunam, etc) and yet value for money. the staff service was excellent and room amenities were fit for a 5 star hotel. the food wasn't the best, but we rarely ate at the hotel anyway, and preferred to travel out for authentic thai food. highly recommended hotel!

This was our third stay at the Royal President. Every time it seems to get better. The hotel itself looks really upmarket and the marble floors and walls accentuate this. There is a pool and spa area as well as a free gymnasium for those who like to work out. The rooms all seem spacious with no insects to be seen. The buffet breakfast is sumptious offering both Oriental and Western options which changes a bit each morning. The hotel offers a courtesy tuktuk to get you to Asok skytrain, Asok also has an interesting themed shopping centre known as terminal 21, each floor is themed on a different country of the world. Try eating on the 5th floor if you like cheap but safe Thai street type food. The staff at the Royal president are possibly it's greatest asset, they are attentive, polite and will help you as best they can. We felt the staff were more like friends by the time of our departure. So all in all a great experience. My wife and myself would urge anyone to give this place a try. for $50-60 a night it's a steal!

the hotel was difficult to find because it is located in a mall and signage is clear from one side of the street. we took tolls from don muang airport which was fast but the taxi driver needed to ask people in the area where the hotel is this is a common review....he also had to turn around...look for foodland...i recommend they place a larger sign on both sides of the street...who knows if this is practical... the restaurants are good, a true coffee place in the lobby. the best part is a 24 hr grocery store and asian/western dining like diner..order off the menu...good variety of low and high price restaurants...starbucks is a 5-7 minute walk...and located in a mall with tops grocery and burger king...in the direction of the bts....which is about a 15 minute walk... the front office staff tae, aye were especially excellent. a women named vien at the desk was excellent...helpful, efficient and spoke excellent english the rooms are outstanding, quiet, clean and very comfortable. the bath is huge...like scandanivian huge...i actually think they were imported from sweden or denmark...my husband is 6ft and he found it huge...the shower had great water pressure. the kitchen had wwf and european cutlery and cleaning sponges...excellent job on the the area seems to have a lot of japanese expats living there...there are alot of japanese restaurants in the area...the area seems to have a fair bit of medical tourism...overalll a great place to stop over...the area has a number of serviced apartments...the gym is great...overall a really outstanding experience for about 150 usd a night... ..the beds are divine...the threadcount sheets are really great, big and the sofa too was big and comfortable...one of the best experiences in a hotel...beyond expectation...i would definitely stay if i was passing through bangkok again...also free wifii...when we compared some hotels charge 1000 baht per day...like 50 usd a day...

For our first time in Bangkok, we booked this hotel through Agoda. The booking process was smooth and easy, and upon arrival, both my boyfriend and I were so impressed by everything this hotel had to offer. From the size and cleanliness of the rooms, to the beautiful pool and gym facilities. Everything was perfect. We were hoping to get a double bed and a bathtub in our room, but the standard room we picked didn't include either. Luckily, the shower was very spacious and modern, and the two twin beds pushed together to form a large comfy space. The staff were all very lovely, and helped us with our wifi connection problems, market suggestions, and taxi bookings. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and competent. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok, and would definitely never look elsewhere when visiting again. Thank you staff at X2 Vibe Boutique Hotel!

in the past ten years i have been a frequent visitor to bangkok and tend to stay at different hotels to see how they differ from one another. reading reviews prior to securing a reservation, i try to weed out the traveler who is just happy whining about anything or the first time travlers who have over expectations from reading too many travel magazines. that said i will give my unbiased review of the s sukhumvit hotel. location is vital in bangkok as it is a walking city. it is best to situate yourself close to the skytrain and the mrt(subway)as this is the fastest mode of transportation. this hotel does both. literally next to the hotel are steps that will take you right to the skytrain and mrt. if a wild nightlife is your cup of tea, you are a couple minute walk from the famous soi cowboy..something you really gotta see to believe! the friendliness and service from this hotel is excellent. do not judge an expensive hotel as top service and friendly as this is not true in many instances i have experienced. they are very discreet also when you bring your "girlfriend"up for a visit..though if it is a one night fling,they will require her to leave her id with the front desk ( this also protects you) rooms are clean and spacious. a/c is great and water pressure very good. may sound unimportant but a/c and water pressure can make your stay either pleasurable or miserable. rooms i had was quiet from the outside noise. i highly suggest this hotel for the price and what you get.if you include breakfast in your package, the restaurant food is standard..not great but good. it can be a little confusing for a taxi to find when coming from the airport as the hotel is right on sukhumvit and there is a sign along the side of the hotel. it is directly next to the new hotel, the continent, which you can read my review as i stayed there also. i think this is a great hotel for the solo traveler who wants to experience the wild side of bangkok.

It's probably not the best when it comes to proximity to public transportations such as MRT or BTS. But there's a water taxi literally behind the hotel that will take you to the Asok MRT station (11 baht per trip, ~10 mins) --except the water taxi is only operates during the daytime. Other times, you'll have to rely on taxi. Everything else, the hotel is excellent. I had an online business conference and asked if I can check in early, and the worked on that and had my wish granted. Everyone working in this hotel was super friendly. Hotel was spotlessly clean, and packed with amenities (ironing board, onset laundry/washer/dryer, stove,... etc.): just about everything you need and even more! Thanks Metropole, I had a wonderful visit!

I had booked this hotel for my 86 year old Grandmother and her younger sister to stay in while they went to Bangkok to visit my Father and sister. Her only requests were that there was a jug to boil water and twin beds. WELL! Not only did they get that but a lovely room with a little kitchen to make food if they wished (well to heat up food) a jug and a balcony with a little washing basin if they wished to wash their clothes. They were so so impressed. The price was just incredible for what they received. My sister who lives in Bangkok insisted it was far too far but my Grandmother didn't mind. She took the skytrain every day. She says that the staff were just utterly lovely to her and my great-aunt. Nothing was too big a job for them and they were always willing to help them get to the sky train safely. They also indulged in the Breakfast every day which was also rather good according to them. They stayed at the Ambassodor the week after on the insitance of my Dad and sister but they said they would have preferred At mind which was much cleaner and staff were so much more friendly. Thank you at Mind for looking after my Grandmother and giving her the best stay shes ever had in Bangkok!
