Room is very nice design, clean, bed and pillow are very good quality. I stayed in Super Deluxe Room 1st floor. Friendly staffs and very helpful, always smiling, asking for help. Convenience hotel facilities and great swimming pool and surrounding there. Good breakfast. Good location, nearby roof top bar (Above Eleven), Villa Market and many restaurant. Hotel has Tuk Tuk service to BTS station - Nana.

We booked 4 nights with this hotel , this hotel has all what a 5 star hotel requires . From the check in to check out you get 5 star service . Location is 15 miutes walk from bts but they offer you free shuttle every 20 minutes to the near Bts thonglo . Big mall are just 2 stations away . All cool restaurants , burger king , star bucks , mac donalds are 2 minutes away . Then this hotel offers Inhouse Onsen which amazing . They gave us a honeymoon welcome are room was fully decorated with flowers that was treat to see . We got room on 21floor the view was amazing . Breakfast is amazing . They almost have everything . Probably the best in the lot . I would definitly recommend this hotel for every person . And i will surely come back to this hotel . Cheers

I stayed in many places throughout the years i have been in Thailand. But today i am gonna tell you i have stayed in this Hotel and they are the best. They are best for location,best for shopping mall,Best for BTS Stations. There suite is just too good. You have more then everything you need in a Grand Suite. I stayed in the most expensive suite they have and they named it Grand Suite. They just provide you with everything. More then everything. Its a luxury of its kind. I enjoyed there service so much. Cant express in words. The best is I enjoyed working for my business purpose with wifi upto 3 MBs per sec to 10 Mbs per sec. Thats the best and fastest i ever found out in any hotel all over the world. Best is there internet service is too good and stable. I never found a single problem in last 5 days. There restaurant is awesome. I ate almost heavy breakfast. There jacuzzi is too good. There entertainment room is amazing. The swimming pool is awesome. gym too good. And outdoor table tennis awesome. Overall there staff are very polite and always greeting you as you walk down the ally. They are so helpful. Every time i come back in Thailand this is the place i will love to stay ever again in my life. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers of all kind. This hotel is too good than i expected while booking. thanks

Welcoming and friendly staff that is proficient in English. The newish hotel, is tucked away from Soi 19, where cabbies and vans can drive up to the front door located about 30 meters from main road. Cab drives may not be familiar with the hotel, just mention Honey hotel, an iconic mainstay from the 70's just right next door. Spacious rooms with nicely decorated bathrooms with hot and good water pressure Walls and doors are not totally sound proof so you may hear a bit of noise from your neighbor. Good internet wifi connection. Cool air-con. An additional security deposit will be requested upon check in, but I did not incur any additional charge, having not broken anything, borrowed any towels or invaded the minibar. Numerous businesses including restaurants, 7-11's, massage parlors, pastry shops, dental office in the immediate area. BTW, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the huge Terminal 21 Shopping mall just a close 4 minutes walk away as well as the MRT/BTS. The mall of course includes many eateries, from the bargain food court on the 5th floor starting from about 35 baht ($1.15) to the many well known chains, including the new Tim Ho Wan dim sum restaurant. The mall has an airport theme with each floor of the mall representing a different "destination" including Tokyo, London, Istanbul, and my favorite city, San Francisco! I would make a return visit to this fine hotel, a good value at ~$70/night.

i choose this hotel for some reasons: 1) place is within walking distance from BTS ThongLo and it is in the small soi that not so far from the main road. You get the quiet place but it is still easy to access. 2) it is in thonglor, means close to soi 38 where you can find the best gem of culinary (best mango sticky rice is there!!). I've stayed in salil for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Staff were nice, Mo my room assistant were so accomodating. But..., considering that this is a new hotel, so there's room for improvement; 1) It would be better if in the future they train the staff to speak in english to be able to easy and accomodate international guests. 2) Also, it will be good if they could improve on menu selection for breakfast. 3) Last, as many hotels has joined the Go Green movement by putting a note to every guest to reuse the towel to avoiding the laundry everyday. Other than that, everything in Salil is perfect and i will definitely recommend to everyone who needs advice where to stay when in Bangkok. Keep up the good work in the future aheads!

My stay was great. The staff were friendly. However as I was checking in there was a blackout which rendered even the elevators out of action. Luckily both elevators were on the ground floor and not being used. The blackout lasted less than a minute but I suppose it was the area not just the hotel. Overall the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.The Hotel itself is nice however on the 19th floor there was a big hole on the ceiling which leaked onto the carpet right in front of the elevators. Given the noises I could hear whilst staying in my room is the reason why I wouldn't give the hotel a 5 star. However it's a nice place to stay and the location leads right to the stairs of Asok BTS. It's a 5 minute walk to Terminal 21 across the skywalk. Perfect for anyone looking to stay in Bangkok. The elevator requires a keycard which is good for security. The food at Medinii italian restaurant was great. Agoda offered dining vouchers for my trip of 500 baht per day. However when I tried to use it at the H20 bar I was told dining meant it is only for dinner. Which is not true. I didn't want to argue so I wasn't able to use my dining voucher. Reception told me the voucher can be used any time. So just be careful about that as the hotel does not understand that dining can be anytime :) It's a minor annoyance in my opinion. These are the reasons why I wouldnt call this place 5 star but a definite 4 star and I would stay here again.

A new kid on the block this is a brand new hotel which is great for Soi 8 because all the other hotels here are quite old and dated. Soi 8 is a very peaceful & relaxing soi, the hotel is very close to restaurants and bars and 7/11's, Sukhumvit rd, Nana BTS etc. The room is huge, the bed is divine, the bathroom shower & huge bath are fantastic, huge flat screen tv, great couch, balcony, very nice kitchen with a huge fridge, unfortunately no microwave but has an electric stove top & kettle. Electric power points everywhere and 2 air conditioners! The staff are lovely and very friendly, leave your attitude at the door. I stayed only 3 nights but wish I had of stayed longer, undoubtedly one of the best value for money hotels I've stayed in after about 10 visits to Bangkok and the Sukhumvit area. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked 3 rooms and stayed 5 nights in this hotel. Everything was excellent starting from the check-in process till the end. The staffs were very friendly and prompt in actions. The rooms were excellent; compared to several hotels I have stayed in Asia, this was the best. Spacious with all amenities you will need; even a mini kitchen fully furnished and Washing Machine in every room! This is really helpful when you are staying with family and kids. The price is really value for what we got. The restaurant food is excellent too. The tour operator Mr. Lit was a very friendly and helpful guy. He made our trip to the Safari and DreamWorld memorable. His charges were very reasonable and we recommend him to anyone willing to explore Bangkok. The hotel location too is very good since its only 5 mins walk to the BTS station.

A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room.The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division.They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here.The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse,one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation.

We choose 137 pillars residence for our last night stay in Bangkok before flying back home and we were so happy with our choice. We stayed in a one bedroom residence, first we wanted to book a suite but the residence was totally fine, much better than we expected, we were on 22th floor and there was a small balcony with stunning view over Bangkok. It was very beautiful decorated, the size of residence is bigger than many other hotel rooms we had been with the same price (or higher) and what we really love are their bathroom amenities from panpuri and harnn!! The hotel itself is a luxury boutique hotel, the moment we entered the entrance we already felt relaxed. Staff are all very friendly, especially concierge I rate them with 6 stars, they are very helpful and I can tell that not every 5 stars hotel in Bangkok are like this. A big plus is that the hotel has a room on 27th fl. for after check-out you still can use the room to rest, taking shower etc. We will definitely come back again!

It was one of the best options in Bangkok for my requirements, Bangkok nightlife it is. Pros: - The hotel is rather high, so if you book a room on a floor 15+ you would have a good view on Bangkok; - both hotel towers have their own pool zones that are not on the ground level, which is also good; - the sky rail is easily accessible, about 2 minutes walk from the hotel; - there are several night clubs and rooftop bars nearby; - Nana Plaza is also close, about 5 minutes walk; - the room that I booked (Deluxe Suite) was very spacious with all the necessities (an iron and a board were a pleasant surprise); - no bad odors whatsoever; - absolutely no noise from the streets and surrounding areas; - big safe box that can store not only your wallet, documents and a camera but also several gaming laptops; - aircon is really quiet; - big mirrors in both rooms are conveniently placed and were pretty useful for me; - there is also no joiner fee, so you can call it a guest-friendly hotel; Cons: - interiors are pretty shabby: scratches and scuffs are everywhere on wooden surfaces. I have to mention that my opinion is based on the room that I booked (Deluxe Suite). There is a chance that if I to book another type of room my impression wouldn’t be the same; - the gym is terrible! Everything is old, matts are dirty and pillows on benches have a lot of cracks so the insides are exposed, the ceiling has signs of running water or something in the past; Not a con, just a note: I was asked for a deposit of 1000 baht, never happened to me before. The deposit was returned at the checkout of course.

Enjoyed our stay, booked 2 superior rooms,ask for same floor, 1 room king size bed, another twin bed for my kids Front desk staff name Ann (night shift) are super nice, she gave the rooms that we requested on booking promptly,room itself has all the amenities such as fridge,safe box,good aircon,free 4botles of water daily,change the bed linen and towels daily too..little downside is the soundprrof of room not quiet as we expected,still can hear door slams,maybe because room is very close to each other,but still okay though... Location is about 10 mins walks to bts asok/sukhumvit mrt,on the way to bts asok is terminal 21 mall,from asok you can go to every parts of touristy destination in bangkok To catch rail link station just 1 stop away from bts asok, off at petchaburi then transfer to rail link to suvarnabhumi airport Many massages shop around hotel,easy to get food,next door is 24h convinience store,pool is on 7 floor Check in n out was smooth,also concierge staff name Nut was very helpful,polite and tell us where is the best way to get to our destination Recommended hotel, we'll be staying in well hotel while we are in bangkok again. Little downside only dining room staff (Bfast time) hardly seeing smiles from them, even in the morning, where the day has just begun...

I really enjoyed my stay here and am already booked to go back two times. This hotel is a splurge for me since I am traveling for a year but I still think it's a great value and so nice to have a modern clean cool room to come back to in Bangkok. After not having wifi for 3 weeks I literally sat in my room and got caught up with my writing and planning. I did think the food was expensive, and the mini fridge too, but I think it goes with a nice hotel in Bangkok. And it didn't stop me from utilizing both. The staff was lovely and let me use the pool for a few hours after I checked out. The location is great for cheap street food but the hotel has amazing food too. The buffet lunch is pricey for one person but really good. Nice huge television and very comfortable bed. Best sleep I have had in months.

I booked 2 different rooms for 4 nights (28 dec 2016 - 1 Jan 2017 ) The deluxe and the 1 bedroom suite. But after the check-in, the aircon in deluxe room not working so they immediately upgrade my room to 1 bedroom suite. So I stayed in 1 bedroom suite from the very first day - 1 jan 2017. The 1 bedroom is so good, so big, they provide kitchen set with big refrigerator, living room area, rolling door to separate the living room and the bedroom. Very nice The staff also very nice, helped us to find driver to place that out of town. Always standby to help you. The location is very nice. 7/11 right in front of the hotel. A lot of thai massage beside the hotel. Seems like Arize sukhumvit is popular among Japan tourists, so there's lots of Japanese restaurants nearby. Best thing is very near to Bts, just walk to the main road and u will find the bts right away. And if you're cafe-hoppers, this hotel is just perfect, many hipster places nearby. Thonglor just 10 minute awat

Hotel: - Very clean and tidy - Air-conditioning can be a bit too cold eventhough we have adjusted it. - Although the hotel is just next to BTS, it's not noisy - Hotel provides free WIFI and internet access through computer in the lobby - Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although their English is limited, they try their best in helping us. I have read about hotel staffs that worked with Taxi driver who overcharged hotel customers. However, in Hope Land, when we request the Concierge to get a taxi for us, he asked us to remain in the lobby while he hailed the cab from the street. I thought that's very nice gesture. He hailed us a meter taxi and told us roughly how much we expected to pay. Location - Convenient, as it is only 2 mins walk from Phra Kanong BTS station. - The only disadvantage was as the hotel is located at the fringe of Sukhumvit area, thus there is not much eating place around. There is only one restaurant behind the hotel which serves Western/Thai food. Food is cheap and good. The lady boss is very friendly too. There is one small mall at Ekkamai station which is one stop before Phra Kanong, which have a few restaurants and a cinema.

Quiet and peaceful for being located on a main road in central BKK. Was surprise upgraded to a Jacuzzi Suite (WOW!). Staff was very professional and extremely polite. Hotel and room were very clean. Fitness room was of a decent size and equipment offering. Breakfast buffet was a sufficient offering of your typical mix of Western and Asian food. Eggs were cooked to order … loved their omelets! Other: The Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the main bldg. offers pizza slices to-go from their walk-up window (located next to the Subway Sandwich shop). We didn’t try the other restaurants on-site as we actually spent little time at the hotel except to rest/sleep. Excellent value at off-season booking rate. The subway (MRT Sukhumvit Station) is one block to the west with the entrance being on the ground floor (west side) of the “Interchange 21” bldg. (not to be confused with “Terminal 21” across Asoke Rd.). The BTS Skytrain (BTS Asoke Station) is just beyond the MRT -- can't miss it! Jasmine City is in an excellent, convenient location for getting around town. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and have already booked a future stay.

my first stay at the royal benja in bangkok, probably my seventh or eighth visit to bangkok. of the hotels i've stayed at, i'd pick royal benja over all of them (except perhaps the j.w. marriott, but that hotel is in a radically different price range). it is conveniently located, about 2 blocks off sukhumvit rd, and about 3-4 blocks from the nana bts station so getting anywhere in bangkok is a breeze. it was also perfect for me since i booked a physical at bumrungrad international hospital, about 2 blocks away. a lot of bangkok hotels have tub/showers with tiny instantaneous water heaters. royal benja has both a tub and a separate walk in shower with great water pressure and as much hot water as you can take. after a 26 hour flight (counting layovers), it was great! my only disappointment was the included breakfast. i guess i have been spoiled by the montien in pattaya. the royal benja breakfast was fine, included the usual odd assortment of eggs, pancakes, and tossed green salad, just not expansive like some others. still i got plenty to eat.

Upon booking in a the hotel, front desk informed me that my Cool room was not available but they upgraded my room to a Studio room for the full 3 days at NO charge. Hotel gives each room 2 free bottles of water per day. Free shuttle from hotel to Sukumvit road but you can walk distance in 5 - 6 minutes. Very good internet speed and access, no downtime on internet usage. It is very safe to walk down the lane late at night as other security staff about from other buildings in the area. Hotel is in a very quiet and safe area, no traffic or bar noise. All hotel staff, especially female reception personnel very polite, helpful and courteous. Management should provide female reception staff seating as staff have to stand up all day at the reception desk. I asked female hotel receptionist as to where I could get a SIM card for my cellphone. She directed me to any 7-11 convenience store on Sukumvit road. Cost for my SIM card was 50 baht and 100 baht for 100 minutes which was good for a month. Breakfast was very good, not a buffet but a la carte for the first 2 days. My 3rd day, hotel had implemented a full buffet breakfast with excellent food choices. Room was very quiet, NO noise from bars/street and no noise from other hotel guests. Washroom is very nice with waterfall shower. Security safe is located in the clothes closet and very easy to program. There was only 1 very small towel in my washroom but then realized later that there were additional large towels behind the bathroom door. Be advised that at my time of booking that Galleria will price match room rate against any other hotel booking site that beats Galleria posted rate on their website. If such would occur, hotel will also give guest an additional 10% discount upon booking through their website BUT you must contact the hotel's booking site by email prior to getting discount on room. Overall, I would consider hotel a very top-end 3 star hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

We booked this hotel for its location,great reviews ands because it is - small luxury hotel hotel. We were upgraded when we checked in , to an amazing apartment on the 18th floor! We were only staying one night before flying off again, so we dined in the restaurant on the 6 th floor, of which was very reasonably price for a 5 star hotel in the centre of Bangkok. The next day we had breakfast of which there was great selection of fresh fruit , croissants, omelettes ,latte's, before heading off to get the sky train to bkk shopping centre, as advised by the staff at the hotel. Sky train absolute pleasure to travel on, approx 5 stops with an interchange, shopping centre has so much to offer. Upon returning we headed to the rooftop pool on the 8th floor for a dip and fresh friit juiice,wow, has to be seen as pictures do not do it justice,it has a glass curved side on one side so you can see in the pool! We would definitely return if in Bangkok again!!

We stayed at the Majestic Grand for a full week to explore Bangkok at the start of our five-week Thailand tour, and were impressed from day one. We returned to the Majestic Grand for our last night in Thailand before flying home. We were stunned when staff members actually greeted us by name as they assisted us out of our Taxi. This four star hotel gives five star service and amenities. Kindly note: - Our room was modern, attractive, spacious, well maintained as well as clean and comfortable with excellent central air conditioning. - Great buffet breakfast with a wonderful selection of American and Thai foods that were fresh and flavorful. They know how to make crispy bacon here as well as excellent omelets. The carrot cake had an amazing texture and taste. Attentive staff always welcomed us with warm greetings and big smiles. - The front-end staff were exceptional; professional in their duties, polite and eager to please. - An excellent location. Just a short walk to the Nana Sky Train Station and easy to use public transportation systems. Lots of entertainment and restaurants in the area, yet our room was always quiet. - This is the only hotel ever that graciously gifted us with a delicious bowl of exotic fresh fruit for our room. We encourage you to stay at the Majestic Grande Hotel the next time you visit Bangkok to experience their superior hospitality.

the hotel was difficult to find because it is located in a mall and signage is clear from one side of the street. we took tolls from don muang airport which was fast but the taxi driver needed to ask people in the area where the hotel is this is a common review....he also had to turn around...look for foodland...i recommend they place a larger sign on both sides of the street...who knows if this is practical... the restaurants are good, a true coffee place in the lobby. the best part is a 24 hr grocery store and asian/western dining like diner..order off the menu...good variety of low and high price restaurants...starbucks is a 5-7 minute walk...and located in a mall with tops grocery and burger king...in the direction of the bts....which is about a 15 minute walk... the front office staff tae, aye were especially excellent. a women named vien at the desk was excellent...helpful, efficient and spoke excellent english the rooms are outstanding, quiet, clean and very comfortable. the bath is huge...like scandanivian huge...i actually think they were imported from sweden or denmark...my husband is 6ft and he found it huge...the shower had great water pressure. the kitchen had wwf and european cutlery and cleaning sponges...excellent job on the the area seems to have a lot of japanese expats living there...there are alot of japanese restaurants in the area...the area seems to have a fair bit of medical tourism...overalll a great place to stop over...the area has a number of serviced apartments...the gym is great...overall a really outstanding experience for about 150 usd a night... ..the beds are divine...the threadcount sheets are really great, big and the sofa too was big and comfortable...one of the best experiences in a hotel...beyond expectation...i would definitely stay if i was passing through bangkok again...also free wifii...when we compared some hotels charge 1000 baht per day...like 50 usd a day...

Before we stayed in, we saw a lot of good comments about this hotel. And yes, we experienced it. We booked a studio room with some request. However, hotel couldn't fulfill our request and therefore they offer us a better unit which require us to check out and check in again on next day. We are very happy and appreciated their effort. Hotel near to BTS and Tesco Lotus (variety of food at tesco food court). A massage shop and 7-11 is at the corner, very convenient. Opposite tesco lotus, there's a shopping mall with many Japanese restaurant. Hotel breakfast considered OK tho not much variety but it can fill our stomach well. Overall good hotel despite some distance from Bangkok city centre. If you like suburban, then this is the place for you.

in the past ten years i have been a frequent visitor to bangkok and tend to stay at different hotels to see how they differ from one another. reading reviews prior to securing a reservation, i try to weed out the traveler who is just happy whining about anything or the first time travlers who have over expectations from reading too many travel magazines. that said i will give my unbiased review of the s sukhumvit hotel. location is vital in bangkok as it is a walking city. it is best to situate yourself close to the skytrain and the mrt(subway)as this is the fastest mode of transportation. this hotel does both. literally next to the hotel are steps that will take you right to the skytrain and mrt. if a wild nightlife is your cup of tea, you are a couple minute walk from the famous soi cowboy..something you really gotta see to believe! the friendliness and service from this hotel is excellent. do not judge an expensive hotel as top service and friendly as this is not true in many instances i have experienced. they are very discreet also when you bring your "girlfriend"up for a visit..though if it is a one night fling,they will require her to leave her id with the front desk ( this also protects you) rooms are clean and spacious. a/c is great and water pressure very good. may sound unimportant but a/c and water pressure can make your stay either pleasurable or miserable. rooms i had was quiet from the outside noise. i highly suggest this hotel for the price and what you get.if you include breakfast in your package, the restaurant food is standard..not great but good. it can be a little confusing for a taxi to find when coming from the airport as the hotel is right on sukhumvit and there is a sign along the side of the hotel. it is directly next to the new hotel, the continent, which you can read my review as i stayed there also. i think this is a great hotel for the solo traveler who wants to experience the wild side of bangkok.

It's probably not the best when it comes to proximity to public transportations such as MRT or BTS. But there's a water taxi literally behind the hotel that will take you to the Asok MRT station (11 baht per trip, ~10 mins) --except the water taxi is only operates during the daytime. Other times, you'll have to rely on taxi. Everything else, the hotel is excellent. I had an online business conference and asked if I can check in early, and the worked on that and had my wish granted. Everyone working in this hotel was super friendly. Hotel was spotlessly clean, and packed with amenities (ironing board, onset laundry/washer/dryer, stove,... etc.): just about everything you need and even more! Thanks Metropole, I had a wonderful visit!

This hotel has to be one of the best in terms of value for money. The rooms are very modern with everything you need for the price you pay. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Not far from the BTS so you can get to all the main areas with ease. If you go to Sukhumvit road from teh hotel and turn right, there is a little Thai restaurant serving all the locals. Delicious food and very cheap. Highly recomend and will be back again
