Brilliantly located hotel on a hill, 2 bends away from the Bangla road, the mall and the beach. The hotel has a scheduled shuttle making commute easy till 10pm post which take a taxi back for 300B. Hotel itself is quaint, clean and offers lizard n mosquito free living - rare given it overlooks forestation onto the sight of the sea. Lovely pools, spa is nice but very pricey in comparison to local offers. However, the staff is incredible they miraculously tended to my first of a kind sunburn with fresh aloevera. You feel safe, pampered, independent/private and clean. Definitely the only place I’ll stay in future - not just from experience but also based on other tourist feedback while on various tours (other renowned hotels were too full or weren’t bug free) yay for our choice!

I was a little hesitant when I booked this hotel due to other reviews, but that all changed once I arrived. My room looked both over the pool and fantastic views to the beach from the balcony. The room was large with king bed and sofa. This hotel is very clean, the restaurant serving lovely food, breakfast was all you needed with a good selection. My daughter and her partner were staying at another resort further towards Bangla Road, and after 2 nights they moved to this hotel which was far superior. They have a band playing every night at the restaurant which for the first night seemed very loud from my room, but I thought this is Phuket after all where they party all night - so I still managed to sleep soundly every night. A short walk to Bangla Road, Burger King, Pizza Company and everything else so close by. You can get around the main area of Patong by Tuk Tuk for 200 baht

the hotel is a very good hotel ,rooms are very clean and comfortable ,breakfast was excellant and the staff are very well trained and obliging ,there was also 50% discount and food and beverages in certain restuarants which was great ,the hotel ajoins the junceloyn shopping centre which has many eating facilites ,it is also very close to the night life in bangla road and markets the beach is only a short walk ,i have stayed there twice now and deffinitely would stay there again ,thanks agoda

A value for money..cheap for a 4 star hotel.. Positive -clean room(no odor) -buffet breakfast -shuttle from hotel to patong beach(take note you can walk too(10-15mins) -heart of the city(near to Shops,Mall,Restaurants,Bangla Road and Patong Beach) -Pool is Clean and Gorgeous(located: Rooftop of the hotel(10am-10pm) -accomodating staffs(always greet us and always cleaning our room,changing our towels everyday..) -they have a boot for activities around Phuket.. -they also give you a free of use of their towels from pool to beach Negative -No Restaurant -not all staff can understand basic english..(hard to communicate sometimes) but overall we enjoyed our 6days of stay here at The Marina Phuket Hotel..well be back here for sure..thank you AGODA!!! -

read reviews that the hotel is dated. Yes it is, but you forget about that within 5 minutes because of the positives this hotel has. I just had some laundry done, went in at 9:50 am, back at 3:00 pm. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. I rented a car and for most of my trip I was parked at the front of the hotel. When I left, Security stopped traffic so I could I get out.. Breakfast was good, a typical asian interpretation of a european breakfast, but tasty with fresh eggs and omelettes. Bed was supercomfy, clean and the sweetest housekeeping ladies on the earth. Now to the best, the location is perfect. Right opposite the ocean and the beach, with magnificent ocean views. The Beach is not so great here but only 500 metres away from the popular part of patong beach. Bangla Road is a 15 minute walk or 5 mins by taxi (200 baht). Otop markets are a 10 minute walk, and the South Beach Bars are 3 minutes walk. Exchange kiosk is right outside the door. Cannot fault this place.

I booked superior room at 6th floor room 614 opposite new building construction. Not many view but at night there's no music sound blasting from club behind this hotel. This hotel is super near to Jungceylon Mall (3mins walk). Surrounded with many cuisine restaurant (from Thai (local), western, to middle east), souvenirs shop , close to Bangla road (5mins walk), close to Patong beach (10mins walk passing through Bangla rd) and 1km away from Hard rock cafe. My room even though is only superior is totally nice and superb clean.High tech electrician support like usb socket, completed with toiletries, bathrobes,sandals, big umbrellas, acceptable price for laundry. IMO room size is acceptable only for 2. I need to struggle a bit to open 2 suitcase, I can't imagine to put extra bed for that matter. Our beds are comfy although my friend complain that the pillow is a bit high. The bathroom is quite small, definitely can't open the door if you sit on the toilet. Anyway, the shower has a small bench ceramic to put your toiletries or even you, can sit under the shower which is nice for old people or just plain tired or hangover people. Their breakfast selection is has wide varieties from breads,cereal, salads, omelette station, thai to western foods are available and the taste is suit my taste buds. Their staff are also nice and attentive. When we first arrived they helped our suitcases and give a brief explanation for our room from lightning socket, toiletries, how to use the socket, and also the facility. Very helpful even though for late check in like us, it's a bit tad too long for our liking. On our last day, they also let us to put our luggage when we check out while we wander around the mall before our travel pick us up. IMO for the price of usd 49/nite (include tax and breakfast) this is surely a good price for newly opened hotel.I'm sure the price will increase once the pool and other facility open.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Amata. We had a modern design Grand deluxe room and the view was amazing. Love the swimming pool and the staff are also friendly. The hotel is very close to Jungceylon Shopping Centre and there are many food court/Banzaan food market nearby if you want to save money. Also close to Bangla Road but still far enough from the noise of the club. Should try the "Planet Massage" just right next to the hotel on the main building. You will not miss it, as it is located right next to the swimming pool. They offer a "proper massage" and you can really fell the pressure because the masseur have good experience. The boy at the tour agent on the "RIGHT HAND SIDE" of the Planet Massage also offers the best and cheaper deal for any tour around Phuket (we have tried to look around the area and so far he always offered the best deal). The only bad experience we had in Phuket was during the airport transfer to the hotel. We paid for 130Baht per person for the mini van at the Phuket Airport to be transferred to our hotel and the driver was driving like crazy, every passenger in the van was scared. It seems that he was stress or overwork and just want to go home. but this driver was really really BAD, dangerous & rude. Very shocking..... as they still allow him to drive. The driver also stopped the van for half an hour in their company's office to offer tour package for all the passengers (C'MON....ALL OF US WERE ALREADY TIRED & it was late at 9pm from a long 10 hour flight from Oz & we just want to go straight to our hotel). I would suggest if you don't mind to pay a bit more, you can just pay for 800baht for a taxi from the agency at the airport to the hotel, OR make a booking from Amata Resort for a taxi to pick you up from the airport as the hotel also charge the same 800Baht for a taxi transfer.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel on Aug 16th for 5 days. The property sits on the side of a mountain which means there are amazing views from every room and all bars and restaurants. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples, as well as family travel as it is quiet and secluded from the rest of crowded patong. If you can spend the extra cash, the suite with a private pool is definitely worth it. The room is spacious, nicely decorated and includes a soaker tub and sizable shower. The mini fridge in the room is also stocked with bottled water (free), beer, sodas, and snacks. The private pool is bigger than it appears in the pictures. The pros: Breakfast buffet (so much variety and the food was delicious) Private pool suite, view from the pool was magnificent Customer service (top notch) Latitude 98 (hotel restaurant), delicious food and open all day Free shuttle bus to Patong beach and Juncelyon Mall 6 times a day The cons: I wish the private pool was heated, the temperature of the water was really cold and unless swimming in the hot afternoon not something you want to jump into The shuttle bus should be offered more frequently and until later in the day. 8:45pm is the last pick up from Patong beach, and seems quite early for people on vacation. There are only 17 seats as well which means if you did not reserve a spot chances are the bus will be full. The distance from the hotel to Bangla rd is quite far, and tuktuks or taxis can get expensive and add up. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

This is a new hotel. Located down a quiet street but only 7 mins walk to the beach. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. The junior suite room we booked was huge with big round bathtub on the balcony. Free mini bar everyday was great. Wifi worked very well bed was massive and comfortable, Bathroom huge. No need for wall adapters in this hotel as its new has latest wickets that take all types of plugs. Swimming area was great and nice bar. Kids play area and gym very good. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of selection. Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to Bangla road and main shopping area but there is many restaurants and bars within 2 min walk. I will stay here every time I visit and recommend for any type of traveller.

A good hotel in a good location.Our stay was great. We had no issues, except that our tv didn't work that well but they sorted that for us almost straight away. The staff are lovely, even if they didn't always know what I was saying in English, they would make sure they figured it out. The pool is on the top floor, it's not that big but the beach is a 5 minute walk if you want a bigger pool!! Breakfast was lovely, loads to choose from! The other food the hotel does is just as tasty, varied menu which is always good. The location is perfect, 2 minutes from Bangla Road and then the beach is right at the bottom of Bangla Road. We loved the location for getting around by foot

We were welcomed by the hotel staffs who explained everything to us, walked us to the room. I love the surrounding of this hotel, it's quiet but full equipped with basic facilities like internet access, swimming pool, fitness equipment etc. The bed is comfort and the room is clean. This hotel provides free shuttle bus to the beach/Jungceylon @ certain fix time. Hotel itself is quiet enough for relaxing and yet the location is near enough for you to walk around to bangla road or Jungceylon if you don't mind sunny. We walked for the way back. I do wish if breakfast can be included for rooms although food for in-room service is finger-licking (we had ordered pizza for 2 days since eating out is not cheap though, the carbonara pizza was delicious).

staff was friendly and accomodative. i kove my room which hv king bed and bath tub inside our hotel.. plus shower great for honeymooners...hotel near patong beach with lots of massage parlour opposite...near bangla road.. just walk around the area for island hopping bookings... airport transfer.. easy to find food to eat especially if u are muslim, not many around walking distance but jus nice to find near beach n around area... mosque was around the area but need to talk transport...not to forget the rooftop po was also plus for the hotel..breakfast food was great. overall 5 star foeq

to be fair, i will rate it base on the amount of money i paid for it. Enjoy their promotional rate at only Rm150 per night for 2 rooms connecting to each other. Which was perfect for our group of 4 girlfriends! Design looks like 3.5 stars to 4 at a No star price Service wasnt at its best, but it is what i would expect from what i paid. As long as their not being rude im fine :) Airconditioning is superb. The size of the AC set is at the size that i would put on my living room. Super huge horsepower on that! Bed on the hard side, no issues for me as i do prefer a strong firm bed :) Location: superb. Close to almost everything. Bangla Road is just 5-10 minutes walk. Jungceylon just opposite, eateries plentyful Tour Services attached to the hotel is alright too. I wouldnt mentioned the potential bargained price, but yea, do know the market price for the tours that you would wanna take and you're fine :) For transportation, good to know that they do have Uber and GrabCar available to locate your metered taxi :)

We've booked Studio Poolside for 4 nights. Spacious room, toilet a bit smelly on the first day. Clean room, clean hotel. We arrived a bit late around 10pm++ local time due to flight delayed, they will keep the room for you so nothing to worry about. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Always greet whenever they see you. Some of them can't speak English very well but that's fine for me. Not much on breakfast. Basic breakfast but kinda okay for the price that you pay. Location : Near to Bangla road and not too far from Jungceylon mall, but this hotel very peace and you wont hear any noises from Bangla road. About 10mins walk to the beach. Massage place just in front of this hotel, Puluang Massage. Worth every penny. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely will stay here again. Love, Diana :)

I was pleasantly surprised with The Bloc Hotel. My three day stay was just perfect. Location is HIGHLY recommended. Rooms are spacious and clean. Linens and sheets are immaculately white. Toiletries included. Everybody in the hotel staff were very accommodating, polite and courteous. Service with a smile. The hotel is accessible to everything: food, convenience stores, massage places, Bangla Road and the beach is just right across; 2-3 minute walk - that is very convenient! They also have a cafe attached to the hotel which serves good food. This place is highly recommended!

the rooms are fairly basic, but the standard is ok. don't expect grand views from balcony or terrace, in some rooms one will look straight into the neighbour's terrace a few metres away. facilities are not more than ok. there is one(1) computer which can be used for internet, but unlike many other hotels you will need to pay for it. 3 baht per minute, most internet cafe's will charge only 1 baht per minute. in some rooms the noise from the nightlife activities in bangla road can be quite annoying. there is a swimming pool, but don't expect to see much sun in the pool area. a number of trees are blocking the sun, hence it is not the best place to work on your tan. the pool also gave a rundown impression. the deck chairs were not very clean, and there were no service attendants in the pool area. that said, there are several nice touches to tropica. i enjoyed the restaurant (hotel guests will get 10% discount on drinks & 20% on food), the staff is nice, and the location is superb for those who frequently will make use of the patong beach and the nightly entertainment of bangla road.

To start with, they let us check in 3 hours early for free! Staffs are really nice and helpful. Our room’s decent size. Got what our money’s worth i’d say. Room service food are so yum! Breakfast buffet have quite a bit of options. Location is close to everything yet far enough from the noise in bangla road at night. just few minutes walk to bangla road, patong beach and the shopping mall. Restaurants and pubs are everywhere. And, they surprised me with a cake on my birthday! We really had a great time with our stay in this hotel! Highly recomended!

my partner and i really enjoyed our stay here. we stayed in the busakorn wing which looked much nicer than the main hotel. the check in service was a bit lengthy but when we finally got to our room we were glad. the bed was huge and the room had a small balcony so we could see what the weather would be like. unfortunately it rained every day but the hotel provided umbrellas for its guests. there was a pool and swim up bar that we never got to use but it looked nice. we went down and walked along the street and visited several tour booking aganecies before we found one that offered a cheap price to book our atv and phi phi island tours. we also booked fantasea. our favourite tour was the atv one where we got to ride a flying-fox, go white-water rafting, ride an elephant, watch elephant and monkey shows and ride a quad-bike. these tours all last from about 7am-7pm. there is a great massage place a couple of shops down from the hotel called "mint" who offer cheap full body massages. they can be quite strong though, so if you can't take it you should ask for a new girl who might be gentler. the breakfast buffet was first class, and we wanted to stay and eat some more every time even though we were completely stuffed. bangla road and the big shopping mall were short walks away. you never really notice how long it takes to walk anywhere as all of the shops are very distracting! barter barter barter ! don't pay more than baht for a t-shirt.

The hotel was under renovation at the time with part of the front area of the hotel closed for renovation (i.e. Banana Disco)but it was still an incredible hotel. The layout had a real tropical theme with many gardens and the pool was large with a palm tree island with many deck chairs around the pool. Breakfast was 500 baht for two people each morning and is well worth it, there is a large selection of normal western and asian breakfast foods. The best feature is the fresh fruit, beautiful and mouth watering pineapple, watermelon, papaya. Note, book and pay for the breakfast upon arrival as it is more expensive if you show up on the morning. They also rotate some of the breakfast menu each day. We were assigned a room in the Sunset wing and had a fantastic room which overlooked the pool, it had been recently renovated and had a great romantic colour scheme. The bed was incredibly big and comfortable, the bathroom was large with a hot and strong shower. There is also a security guard(s) constantly patrolling the entrance and the hotel at night so its very safe. There are many toiletries and 2 bottles of water are complimentary each day. We spent most time out of the hotel so didn't experience its full features but did see a well equipped gym. Another of the best features of this hotel is the location. Across the road from the entrance is Patong Beach, only five mins walk is Bangla Road. Massive choices for food and shopping so close but its location away from the main road means the rooms are very quiet. Only downside is the internet fee, 100 baht for 30 mins of internet use (wi-fi or their terminals) valid for a 24 hour period seems too much. Also do not take the room slippers as souvenirs as the hotel will charge you for these.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nap Patong, and would glady come back again. The hotel looks and feels relatively new, with a beautiful water feature in the front lobby which adds to a lovely welcoming, relaxing and peaceful ambience. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and ushered us to our room within minutes. We booked the Grand Superior room and were surprised to see how spacious our room was. The room was clean, modern, very comfortable and well equipped. However the bed was a little hard to our liking, but we had restful sleep nonetheless. The fridge was stocked with water, soft drinks and juices which were all free and replenished everyday. The breakfast was extensive and had something to suit every palate, from American fare, to English breakfast and traditional Asian cuisine. The restaurant and room service was affordable, fast and tasty, the only negative was that we found a rubber band in our noodles! The hotel is located 45 minutes from the airport. To organise hotel transfer will cost 700TB each way. The location is perfect for couples and families. Far enough from the roudiness of Bangla road but close enough to explore Patong by foot. The beach front is 5 minutes walk down the road, Bangla road is 15 minutes walk and Jungceylon Shopping Centre is 20 minutes walk. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I cannot recall the number of times I've been to this resort but I am quite sure it exceeded 10. I am a loyal returned client to this resort. As a frequent Phuket visitor, I tried, every time I am about to book an accommodation, to look for an alternative but end up going back to this resort. I feel home when I am there! The reservations' staff know my room preference, the spa and GYM team remember my food/drinks timing when I am in the pool area, all goes smoothly. I travel alone, seeking peace and relaxed time. I usually enjoy the resort facilities in the daytime. I rarely go shopping or head to the beach as I am done with that long time ago. The spa is very professional and, based on my long experience in the region, it is one of the best in Phuket. Although massage types, compared to typical street spas, are pricey, the facility and service are worth it. I usually rent a scooter as the hotel cannot be walked to from the beach or Bangla road, however, this time I did not. The hourly free shuttle bus was more than enough for me as it is in service every hour until 8:00 PM. After that time, THB 600 is the charge for a round trip from and to the resort by a resort vehicle, Tuktuk or taxi cab if the 2nd destination is within Patong district. Estimated time, in car/shuttle-bus/Tuktuk, from the resort to Bangla Road or beach is approximately five minutes. The resort is perfect for honeymooners who would love to meditate, stay away from noise, enjoy nature, and, at the same time, do not want to miss Patong activities. It is amazing for groups who would utilize every facility in there. It is one of the best places for those who look a quiet place to write, read, or work in the daytime. The resort might not be suitable for solo bachelors who are much into daily-partying and walk around to explore places and bars. It is even not for those who look for services that are best for a budget. I really like it there, thank you, Wyndham.

Went during the low season, hence it was reasonably priced. Located opposite Hard Rock and about 1km walking distance to Jungceylon mall and Bangla road and about 300 metres to the beach. They have halal section for breakfast which is good. At night it can be noisy coming from HRC but no problem for me. Pool is good. The only minus is the tv reception as ir was too grainy and coud not watch anuything

well its my 2nd anniversary and my wife really want to go to phuket. i do my homewerk and finally ive found rayaburi. i wasn't sure of the area but try to get comments from trip advisor.. well in 10 comments 9 are good. reached there ard 9pm, have made arrangement for the airport transfer which cost 800 baht. its dark and i dun mind of the price as long we reached there safe. i can say the communication will always be a problem but the driver named berk a nice polite lady.1st impression counts. reached hotel and check in being served by aprorn a sweet lady, courteous, polite, really noes wat shes doing. got a superior king size room.... just loved it...wit opened concept. the room toiletries, bed, everythings are new.. clean...... the tv with 90 plus channel.. great isnt it?.... breakfast was very good... but they just have to change the menu every now and then. buttttttt........ the lunch and dinner(ala carte).... was great.... u have to try the dishes the provide.... it was wonderful. from the chef to the waitress... it was perfect !the price was ok for me...location... prefect... 2 mins to patong beach.... 5 mins to bangla road... and among the hotels around, rayaburi was the biggest and u will have the 6* feeling.... if thinking of goin to any tour they will give you discount. be safe.. the streets tour might not be 100% safe. trust me. wen cheking out in the early morning they even packed for us breakfast to consume at the airport. excellent. shopping....heheh.. a tip for u...the cheapest shop with 100 baht t-shirts/pants/skirts, its before bangla road by sawadirak road..the shop called 100baht. you would not get tht price around the patong shopping paradise or along junceylon..trust me. the only recomendation for rayaburi... to provide motorbike rental. i tink that at the streets they need passport for the rental. do you tink its safe... if from your own hotel... it will be 24hrs safe..right?.. hopefully the management will look into tis. i will sure come

Location is excellent - 10-15 mins walk from Bangla Road but far enough away from the loud club musics that can go on through the early mornings. Staff were super patient, helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy rooms with everything you need - Including 2 fresh bottles of waters in your rooms, replaced everyday. Great pool, speedy room service and good choices for buffet breakfast. Location is full of everything you need including 2 mins from a supermarket, 1 min away from a pharmacy, handful of places to have a massage, find excursions and places to eat. Only bad thing is, as it is situated opposite the Hard Rock hotel, they hold live performances almost every night it can go on until just after midnight and can be noisy. Best to wear earbuds if you're an early owl.

I and my wife had booked a studio room at C&N to attend relative wedding. The room is clean although the hotel appearance just look normal. The hotel is 4 storey building and wee stay at middle of the building. Although opposite to the building got a pub but we can sleep well at level 3 facing toward the pub. The sound proof quite good we didn’t hear any television sound from other room. At first I worried that I cannot iron my shirt because the hotel didn’t provide iron. However, opposite to the hotel got a small laundry shop that I manage to iron my cloth with payment of 20bht only. The hotel is best with the location is just near to the biggest mall jungceylon and slightly opposite to bangla road (with a lot of night life). Walking to jungceylon is just 5-10minutes. Jungceylon has big c and cinema and a lot of shop. Another good thing to highlight of the hotel is normal looking hotel with good service. We have flight at 8pm at night but we need to check out at 12pm due to room cleaning for next room check in at 2pm. The hotel offer us new towel and place to take shower inside their massage shop for free. The hotel also offer us place to put our luggage for free so that we can walk around before our car arrived at hotel to fetch us. Another good thing is the good price of the hotel, is around Rm200 per night with breakfast for 2. Their breakfast is nice with dim sum, customize fried egg, porridge, bread, yougurt, fruit, coffee, fruit juice, Kellogg’s, rice and the taste is nice. Overall, I think this hotel give you the best if you looking for budget and clean and good service. The location is good save you a lot of transport fee. If you want to rent motor, you also can find some shop rent motor near to the hotel.

We booked a deluxe pool room for 8 nights in January 2017, and the stay was fantastic. We brought a 2.5 year old and 0.5 year old. The pool was great for the 2.5 year old: they had a kids pool that he was just tall enough to stand in, and the rest of the pool was shallow enough that I could walk everywhere in it as he floated next to me. Lots of platforms throughout that are great for kids to jump off of as well. The pool bar was awesome, too, and they had a buy one get one special from 4 to 6 that we took advantage of a lot. They let us take the drinks from the bar over to our deluxe pool access porch, which was nice since my wife and I couldn't both be at the pool bar at the same time due to the 2 kids. Location was great for us. Across the street from the northern end of beautiful Patong Beach, and a convenience store, pharmacy, laundry, and a couple great restaurants just across the other street. It is a solid 20 minute walk to the action at Bangla road, but they do run a shuttle 3x per day (only to the town, no pickup). We were mainly there for the pool, beach, and food, so this had everything we needed. I was worried about the staff here based on some of the other reviews, but I have zero complaints. They were very helpful and prompt in responding to questions and requests, and they even held our baby when we ate breakfast every morning. The room cleaning was sometimes later in the day, but when we were out and wanted it cleaned, we just told the front desk and they took care of it before we were back. The staff's English level was not always easy to understand, but we live in Japan, and it was much easier to communicate with them than most Japanese staffs. Couldn't be happier with the staff. Breakfast was good every day. There were 6 or 7 options for eggs in the morning (scrambled, fried, omelet, eggs benedict, skillet, etc.), and several fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads, meats, and Thai options available. This hotel is a fantastic "lanna-style" hotel a short tuk-tuk drive from Bangla Road in Patong. We were upgraded on arrival to a larger room (deluxe I think?) which was lovely. Our friends were not upgraded; however their room was still very nice, with the bonus of a small balcony which the larger room did not have. The only downside of our room was that the bathroom flooded when we had a shower. The hotel staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with bags and answer any questions we had. The hotel also has a free tuk tuk service to Bangla Road which was very handy. The free breakfast was average, but then again it was free so can't really complain!
