Hotels near Bugis Junction

I never wanted to spend much on a hotel, especially in Singapore, because mostly I will be out shopping or sight seeing or dining. Usually a hotel with this price range is old, dusty and not strategically located, but this one is different. This hotel presents a hipster/rustic design that is warm, calming, friendly and welcoming. The overall design gives a positive and good vibes. The receptionists are youngsters that are very helpful and friendly. The Indian lady that handled my check in was very clear and thorough explaining little details of the hotels. I was able to get an early check-in about 1030 in the morning, while the usual check-in time is at 2 PM. With your room, you will get a mobile device which you could use to make international call and mobile internet for free, and you can carry it around with you. Too bad I've already bought sim card from the airport, I just knew it when the reception lady explained it to me. I ended up didn't using it, but this is a big plus point. The room I was staying was tiny, only 12m squared, but it is very efficiently planned and designed, so I did not feel cramped. There was no wardrobe, which safe some space, instead there was only a rack with hangers, this I think is a smart move, because I never used hotel's wardrobe anyway. Talking about cleanliness, it was spotless clean, I knew this because I did not have any allergic reaction. My only dislike was the AC, it blows straight on to the head, and there was no control of the swing direction from the remote. But, the room itself is already pretty cool without the AC at night in the hot Singaporean weather, so I ended up not using the AC. You have ice and water dispenser in the hallway, so you can refill your water bottle. The door was not sound proofed enough, so you can hear persons talking or running in the hallway, but it was not a big deal for me. Location wise, it is not dead center in the heart of Bugis. A new hotel in the Bugis area, close to Bencoolen MRT and Bras Basah MRT, opposite the minimart (7eleven), food court (Food Republic) and coffeshop (Starbucks), but go to shopping centers like Bugis Street,, Bugis Junction, Bugis + , requires a walk of about 10-15 minutes, The trip from Changi to the hotel only required a 1 line move from Changi to Expo, from Expo to Bencoolen, recommend for traveller who carry many bags.

Location is the best, the Bencoolen MRT station is just right in front. You can go across the road to get to another MRT station Bras Basah. If walk further down a bit from hotel, you get the bus station in front of Redesvous hotel to everywhere you like. If you like some walking, not far away is the National art museum, national museum of Singapore. It takes only 2 stations to Chinatown, one station to Esplanade (access to Suntec city, Marinasquare). Do a bit of walking you get to Albert court hawker Centre, Bugis junction, and even nearby there are plenty bars, restaurants and shopping Centre at Bugis, Orchard is within 20 min walking. If feel want to cycling, there is OFO bicycle for rent too! Hotel wise, they do housekeeping everyday, very clean and spacious room. We have really good sleep there. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with wife and 5 y.o. daughter. When we mentioned about the V Hotel Bencoolen, the taxi driver didn't know where it's at. Check in process was quick. Check in time is after 11 am and checkout time is before 1 pm. We arrived there at 10 am, so we kept our luggage and went for a walk. There were 2 convenience stores nearby: Cheers (next to the hotel lobby) and 7 Eleven (less than 50 meters to the left of the hotel lobby). There was also a Kopi Tiam food center within less than 5 minutes walking through an alley. More local food can be found at Waterloo Street, which is located behind the hotel building. Even more food stalls can be found near the apartment complex across Sri Krishnan temple. For those who love shopping, Bugis+, Bugis Junction, and the famous Bugis Street are just within 10 minutes walking. There was an entrance to Bras Basah MRT station (Circle Line/Yellow Line) at Waterloo Street. Another MRT station alternative is the Bugis MRT station (East-West Line/Green Line) which is located underneath Bugis Junction. Lots of people complain about the room size in this hotel. But since I've traveled many times to Singapore, I found that this size is very common at any hotel at this price. What I care most in Singapore hotels are hotel facilities (such as free WiFi in room), distance to public transport, and abundance of food choices. V Hotel Bencoolen, in my perspective, wins them all.

We stayed at Ibis for 3 nights and have a great experience. These are some of the things we enjoyed most while we stayed there. 1. Great Location. Ibis at Bencoolen is strategically located near shopping area and easy access to public transportation. It is only 3 minutes walking distance to OG Albert Dept Store and around 7 minutes to the famous Bugis Junction Shopping complex. Right accross the hotel there is a pick up point for you to go to Universal Studios Singapore and Sentosa Island for free. (Only for foreigners and you MUST show your passport to the driver before you can hop in to the bus) The shuttle bus also stopped at Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino. The first bus will be arrive at 09.00 am and come again every 30 minutes. Reguler bus stop is right in front of the hotel, you can go directly to Orchard or anywhere else from this point. Nearest MRT station will be at Bugis Junction area. And if you feel hungry you dont need to worry because just behind the hotel there is a medium to large food court complex consist of around 80-100 outlets or stall. 2. Free Wi Fi Access You will get a free access to wifi from your room. Uploading your holiday photos in Singapore will be a fun thing to do after a day full of walking and sightseeing. 3. Clean and neat room. The size of the room is not so big but the cleanliness of the room is a plus point. They managed to maximized the room space to the point where everything that we need in a hotel room is availlabe. For me and my family to comeback to this Hotel again is a big sure.

We absolutely love this hotel, with its high floors and great view of the marina and Singapore skyline. There is a nice lounge for all guests but never had a feeling that it was crowded. In fact not many guests were there and I could even work and take some calls - as did a couple other guests. They have several good restaurants in the hotel plus a rooftop bar with the best views. Breakfast is amazing, not by variety but by quality. Anyway, there is more than enough to choose from. Room rates are expensive but for us, truly worth it. Accessibility is good, with buses and the train station nearby, Suntec Mall and Bugis Junction mall also within walking distance.

My favorite go to hotel when here on business or pleasure. Fairly affordable. Away from the craziness or ridiculous hotel costs on Orchard road. Right in the heart of Bugis with Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and Bugis Street as well as Bugis MRT all within minutes walk. One stop from Rochor and two to Little India. Great lobby that smells wonderful and will leave you wanting more hotels to smell this nice. Hotel room is small and clean, but manageable. Internet is fast and reliable. Breakfast is good if it’s in your budget. A note about this time specifically: housekeeping did a spectacularly bad job on two of our nights we stayed here this time. Took dirty towels but didn’t leave clean, and the second time they just forgot to clean it altogether. If the housekeeping gets better like it was last year then we will return. If the housekeeping gets worse then we may have to look for other options.

Check in and out was a breeze. Good wifi in the room with some cable channels. Cheap local food at Golden Mile Food Centre just opposite the hotel. Use the overhead bridge to cross over from level 2 of the hotel. Lobby is located at level 2 as well. Nearest MRT line is the Yellow Circle Line - Nicoll Highway station. Good place for a good night sleep as it was quiet. Nearest walking attractions would be the Arab Street area and Bugis Junction (Green Line - Bugis MRT).

So glad I took the Agoda Secret deal and was introduced to this great gem of a hotel in Bugis. Great value for money. The staff was excellent--friendly, attentive and very helpful. I was even upgraded to Premier room with Queen size bed. Buffet breakfast has delicious variety of Asian and Western choices. The room and bed are very comfortable and spacious. Would be good for a staycation but I was out all day. Very good home base. Just 1 block from Bugis Junction and MRT. Great location to walk around Bugis area (many food choices) and easy walk to our meeting venue. I also liked that the hotel was beside the St. Joseph Church. I would definitely stay here again if I get a good price again.

We definitely book again at this hotel if we go back to SG. Staff were nice and helpful especially Mr. Mel (Filipino front desk staff) who were able to answer all our queries. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff always clean the room around 4pm so once we return to the hotel everything is clean already and towels has been changed also. Food was great and location is good also.Near to hawker center,convenience store, Bugis Market and Bugis Junction which unfortunately we were not able to visit due to limited time and long tiring days of walking. Overall, our experience to this hotel is GREAT!👍👍👍

I chose Hotel Bencoolen because it was one of the cheapest in Bencoolen road. I love the area and I thought to give the hotel a try - It was just a nights stay and I thought I gave it a try. Here is my review : Checking in - staff always addressing you by name and was very polite - fast and no-hassle check-in Room - Old - its an old hotel but being a 50-year-old hotel - its still fine. The comforter is a bit thin but I had a great night's sleep. The hotel room is considered quite big for Singapore. Water heater all good and aircond just nice. What else do you need - I had everything I needed for a hotel stay. Location - Bencoolen street is the best - lots of eat, coffee shops and a couple of minutes walk to Bugis junction for your shopping. I just love this area. Facility - though not important to me but I gave 2nd floor a look - small swimming pool and an old outdoor gym. Its not for me but could be important for some of the guests. Overall - i love this hotel

This is my second time staying here. I booked a doubled room this time instead of twin room. The room size was just right but small compared to the twin room. There is cold drinking water and sparkling water that are available in the hotel. The staff were great. As for the location, it is closed to Exit B of Bugis MRT (Blue and Green line) and about 5 to 8 minutes walk. There are shops and restaurant around the area. From the MRT exit, you can see Raffles Hospital and walk straight. Behind Raffles Hospital, there is a hotel and also another building called DUO Galleria, which also has a lot of gourmet restaurants. You can see 7Eleven and Dominos when you walk from the MRT to the hotel. There is a mosque right at the end of the hotel block. What I appreciate is that the location is not far from the main attractions, Bugis Junction and Bugis Street. They are about the same location as the Bugis MRT so you can reach the destination for about 5 to 8 minutes. Overall, it is superb!

First time using Citadines group facilities, which satisfying enough. We are family with 3 children, booking 1 bedroom executive and stay for 4 night. 1. Room: Spacious and clean 2. Facilities: Gym, Laundry coin, water dispenser in each floor for free. It will be better if you have swimming pool 3. Location: 5 -6 minutes walk to Bencoolen MRT, Rochor MRT. 10 minutes walk to Bugis MRT, Little India MRT. Close to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Sim-Lim Square. Lots of singaporean street just cross-by the hotel. 4. Good and helpful staff Note: Just wondering, my friend stay at the same time with us with same room type, charged with same price/night, (but booking it from other application). Fact that they don't get charge for sofa bed arrangement is quite shocking. We've been charge $50/night which confusing us since it's inside the room and should be free facility. Repeat Order: yes for sure, but we will try to order it from other application since they include sofa bed arrangement ^__^

fragrance hotel bugis must be a relatively new hotel as taxi drivers not aware of it's existence. nevertheless, right smack on middle road, it's not hard for taxi to find. the room is clean and comfortable. i reckon it's value for money thru what i paid at agoda. i always like to stay near bugis junction as you get plenty of food choices and mrt for moving around sg conveniently. highly recommended.

Location may need to walk or take cab from Bugis junction. Other than location need to walk a bit, I like the hotel very much, the wooden floor and natural mood/style of the hotel is quite comfortable which I felt satisfied. Only one point about the room is the bed a bit too high and feeling that will be slipping. Overall, staffs are helpful and friendly. this is worth money and definitely I will come back if next time going to Singapore!

Perfect for travellers, very comfy beds, the twin beds can comfrotably fit 2 persons each bed. Good value for money! The hotel was placed in the middle of the tourist spots, less than 5mins walk to bras basah station, 10mins walk to bencoolen station, bugis junction is just around the corner. National museum of singapore’s just a block away. Less than an hour to Marina bay/Gardens by the bay, and Harbourfront/Vivo city to go to Sentosa.

very clean, service is excellent, location is great full of bath amenities. has both bath tub n shower. can soak into hot bath after a long walk n fresh shower thru back door is bugis junction n bhg. it is a shopping haven not forgeting to stop at kinokuniya book shop to fill our brain with knowledge down below bugis junction, many foods to be craving at. mrt is also just a step ahead. accross the road, bugis market is in sight. cheap and not so cheap things to buy get hungry again, hawker center is there at the distance, lies sim lim tower. it bargain shopping mall but must face "not so friendly" staffs. no buy dont ask. hehehe at the end of the day, go back to the hotel. just by looking at the white color design of it, you can forget about the tireness of long day walk. it is very soothing and back to the hot bath tub calling

Hotel location is perfect, right in front of MRT station DT 21..Bugis street/junction & Kampung Arab/kampung Glam are also nearby, less than 1km walk i suppose..there is mosque on the right side of the building & malay restaurant on left side, which is just perfect for me.. Hotel room is spacious(1 bedroom apt),perfect for traveller with 3 kids for me..next time i travel to singapore, i surely back to this hotel but i will take 2 bedrooms apt.

Santa Grand is a small hotel at a great location at great price (promotion price, as compared with hotels in Singapore). The hotel is new and very clean. The room is very clean and the cleaners mopped the tiled floor in the room keeping it very clean. The room we got is small, however sufficient for us. It has all necessary amenities (safe, fridge, LCD TV, hair dryer, kettle, Wifi, etc). We saw other bigger rooms in the hotel. There is a bus stop behind the hotel, about 3 minutes walk, which will take us directly to the Orchid Road (stop at Dhoby Ghaut, Somerset, Orchard Stns). Along the road in front of hotel, there is a bus stop about 3 minutes walk which has buses to talk us to China town, etc. The hotel is about 10 minutes easy walk to Bugis Station where Bugis Junction and Bugis Street are. Along the way, you will pass Raffles Hospital which has a food court at ground floor. Walking further 10 minutes from Bugis Station will reach Sim Lim Square. Coming back from Orchid or Chinatown on bus will stop at the bus stop right in front of the hotel, across the road. All staff we have encountered are friendly and helpful. The lobby is small and always packed with hotel guests, however not a problem at all. The cafe in the hotel offer reasonable food and breakfast. They always keep the cafe clean and neat. During breakfast time, we noticed they were consistently keeping the place clean (wipe the tables, etc) and covering the food trays (when guests left them opened). An excellent place to stay. Will definitely stay again if price doesn't go up.

I had stayed at the Parc Sovereign in 2015, so booked to stay there this year on the basis of my previous experience, when my wife and I recently had a holiday in Singapore. My wife was surprised to see the small size of the room but, since a hotel in Singapore is only somewhere for one to store suitcases and sleep, it wasn't a problem - if you want bigger rooms then maybe stay at the Marina Bay Sands, but then you'll have $300 or so less to spend on food and clothes shopping every day. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel - but it's so close to excellent hawker centres like Tekka Centre & Queen St, food courts at Bugis Junction and Broadway, and also very close to three MRT stations at Bugis, Little India and Rochor - that you don't need to go there if you want to sample that fantastic cheap food for which Singapore is famous. The environment of the hotel was a little shabby although the corridors were being painted while we were there. The pool was adequate, and the staff were welcoming enough and helpful if approached; when we arrived and collected our room keys, we found we were in a double room despite asking for twin beds on the booking. The room was immediately changed with no problems, and an apology from the girl in reception. Looking forward to staying there again.

Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

One of the best budget hotel i've stayed in Singapore Best location It is very near in train station (bugis junction) near money exchange centers ( 3 - Bugis street, infront of bugis street, and in front of the street of the hotel) Near bugis street ( good place to buy souvenirs ) 7/11 beside the hotel lots of malls if you like to walk, you can walk to different tourist spots It's like the center for the tourist attractions in Singapore

walking distance 5-7min to metro station. I didn't have to use bus to get anywhere else. The metro covered most of the attraction: marina sand bay, vivo city to sentosa, etc. Room was clean and roomy (compared to other hotel). We used to stay at B.Hotel and man, it barely has room to breath. Affordable price with great location together with good staff. It doesn't have toothpaste and toothbrush so you gotta bring your own. We don't have restaurant inside the building but just downstairs we have Malaysian/ Idian food corner. Walking 3 min, you will get to Tekka food court with Indian/Chinese/ Jap/ Korea/ all kind of food. It is good and cheap, even though the quality might not be as good as Michelin 1 star booth or Tian Tian chicken rice but it's 3min away so who cares. Overall will stay here next time until I can find a better place with the same price, and I doubt it could happen in this lifetime.

Just 5 min walk from Bugis Junction and the Bugis MRT. Definetly will book this hotel if i came back to singapore!! You guys should book this hotel seriously, across the hotel, there’s a Thailand restaurant, i wasnt expected at all! The foos was goooood! Should try! Next to hotel many bar and rest. Good job!!

We stayed 3N/4D at the hotel and were quite pleased overall. The positives : • Great location!! The Bus stop is right opposite hotel and walking distance ( about 8-10 minutes) to Bugis MRT and Bugis Junction. The hotel is also almost right opposite the Sultan Mosque and Haji Lane and has many eateries close by and a 7-11 right opposite which makes things very convenient. • Cleanliness : the hotel was very clean and the rooms were made up every day which was great. • The Bed - was superb. It was definitely one of the most comfortable! • Customer delights : the hotel provides lemon water and snack at the lobby for all guests and the mini bar was complimentary and consisted of two sodas. The wifi was also great 😃 Staff : Very helpful and pleasent. The negatives ☹️! • Size of room : we booked a superior room and it was tiny!! There were two of us and two large bags which left no room to walk about and we had to jump over our bags to get the top the toilet. This room is ideal for one person or can be managed for a couple traveling with one large bag. • Wet Toilet : The toilet was small but manageable. The only hitch here was that there was only a half separater between the shower area and toilet and as such there was no way to prevent the toilet area getting soaked. Which was rather annoying... Overall : I would recommend the hotel but would advice couples to book a bigger room if traveling with more than one peice of large luggage.
