Pros: Clean comfortable place to rest 5 minutes walk away from concert venue at Impact. Shuttle around the complex also available every half hour. Nice restaurant. Great staff. Cons: Airport transfer service would have been a welcome plus. No food or restaurants open nearby after midnight. Although when open in the day, the Taste restaurant in the hotel was very good. Buffet breakfast is small but well run. What stood out: Many guests came back after the rock concert feeling hungry but only the bar was open. The reception staff took it upon themselves to fire up the kitchen to make fried rice. I call that above and beyond good service. The same good service attitude was consistent throughout our 3D2N stay. Special mention: Am for sorting out a minor confusion with our booking.

We stayed here because the hotel is very near to Impact Arena, about 5 - 10 mins walk. We went to BTS Wings Tour 2017 concert (22 and 23 April 2017). On the way to the Arena there are many fast food shops e.g. McD, Starbucks, KFC and few restaurants. There is also Boots and Watson (helpful for us to buy medicine). Many food stalls at the Impact Arena too. However, it was hard to get Halal food at the area. The hotel is near to Don Mueng Airport - about 30 - 40 mins. The area is easy to get taxi. Not many things to do at the area. We took a taxi to Central Chaengwattana, about 30 mins if no traffic jam. The room was clean and staff very helpful. So no complaints there. What impressed me the most was that after we came back from the concert on the 23rd April, there were 2 piece of cakes on the table with 'Happy Birthday' on the plate. It was my mother's birthday that day and that gesture made her day. Thank you so much! We are happy that the hotel provide such service.

This hotel is not far from Don Muang International Airport, Government State Complex, Impact Muangthongthani Convention Center. It locales just opposite Central Plaza and Department store. It's really worth staying here in any objective. Gym and swimming pool are very proper and really help relaxing. View from the room in North facet is almost panoramic and really relaxing. I recommend Best Western Plus Vanda Grand hotel and will be back here in any reason for sure.

For those using Don Muang Airport for international or within-Thailand travel, Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok Hotel is perhaps the most convenient location to rest at. The best thing about this hotel is that it is not near the crowded central Bangkok. But even if you decide to travel to inner Bangkok, taxi meter is not expensive. Don Muang area is very nice to be at. You can travel to Nonthaburi and Pathumthani very easily. If you're here for a shopping spree, The Mall at Nonthaburi, Central Rattanathibet, even Zeer Rangsit and Rangsit Futurepark are all alternatives and far from the beaten path. Food and drinks are available at the hotel, but I'd recommend you learn some basic Thai for conversation, which will help a great deal cos local food providers are just across the road from the hotel, with sane local prices. I picked up a black tea for 160B at the hotel lobby lounge. Across the road? 20B. So do consider learning basic colloquial Thai. Include it as your total travel experience. Learn the language, the culture... and I'm sure you'll be visiting Thailand again, and again... even though your flight is 12hrs far away. The hotel itself has a nice pool which is far from public view, perhaps only visible from the air. This is not a new hotel, but some renovations must have been done at some point in time so it's not terribly old. The rooms are generously big and spacious so no issues if you (and your mate) are giants. Room facilities are all modern and up-to-date. Flat screen tv, hot shower, toiletries... all at your finger's touch. Hotel facilities are also more than adequate. Lobby bar, restaurants, and even a bridge to get you direct from the hotel to/fro Don Muang Airport. Trust me, this bridge (airconditioned) will be very useful to use during the hot seasons, so that you won't have to reckon the heat and the sunlight. Staff at this hotel are all helpful and friendly. The Asia Airport Don Muang Hotel is a rather large property near the Don Muang airport in Bangkok. I booked this hotel using Agoda.com. It looks like it was built in the late 80’s or early 90’s although the rooms have been refurbished for sure. It is convenient to that north end of town near Rangsit, which is why I chose it. The hotel and the room were clean and met my wife’s and my needs perfectly for a hotel in that area to visit family. Room service is 24 hours and is very reasonably priced. The food was quite good and the portions good as well. Perfect for when arriving late in Bangkok. This is not a resort, but it is a clean, affordable hotel with a really nice staff. If that’s what you’re looking for – or you are looking for a hotel as you transit the Don Muang airport – this is a solid choice. Also good if you need accommodations in the Rangsit area. Reasonably priced, I have booked a stay there for when my wife and I come through Bangkok later this month.

it's the first time i stayed at this hotel. i booked for three nights stay for two rooms. the hotel locates at the side of vibhavadhi road and very close to donmuang airport. it takes less than ten minutes to get there in a normal traffic. the room is spacious and very clean. the food is also great. the hotel's parking area is underground if you want to park your car over night. the parking area is very safe and secure. if you want to get to the shopping area, central plaza lad prao is the most interesting department store in the area. for the best transportation, taxi is the fastest and most convenient way to get into the city. moreover, the center shopping area in the city is at siam area which takes less than 30 minutes to get there by taxi. also, suvannabhum international airport will takes about 45 minutes by taxi on express way. i will come back to this hotel again for the next time.

I enjoyed the hotel and its facilities to the full. The hotel runs a courtesy bus to the Central Plaza in Ladprao which is only 10 minutes drive away. The plaza has many international shops and restaurants which caters for all tastes and budgets. The plaza also boasts 12 cinemas which shows English soundtrack movies at the real bargain at around 150Baht (£3 sterling) per person. The courtesy bus also attends the famous Chatuchak market which is the largest outdoor market in Thailand. This service is available each Saturday and Sunday morning.

The Journey Hotel is one of the best minimalist hotels I have stayed in. This hotel has a business hotel feel to it and is very close to Don Muaeng Airport. It is perfect if you want to catch an early flight from Don Muaeng. The rooms are very very spacious! The price is very affordable and the staff there go out of their way to help you despite their lack of English conversation skills. You should keep in mind that this hotel is close to Don Muaeng. Which implies that it is far from the central Bangkok and all the attractions. It'll be a good 1 hr taxi ride in one direction considering there is no traffic congestion. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there some nice local and European food options at a stone's throw. This is a perfect stopover hotel and I would definitely book it again if I have an early morning flight from Don Muaeng.

Clean apartment. Reception is good and we can order delivery food. Lots of food choices to choose to be delivered. Easy to call Grab. From this place to Central Plaza is around $140 baht. We like this apartment. Aircon is very noisy.. Especially the aircon compressor outside the balcony.. Very loud noise n feel the vibration in room near our bed. Hope they will repair that.

the hotel is in good size grounds set back from main road but not noisy at all. It's not a modern boutique hotel but an older style though the rooms are larger and very clean. There is a large car park in front which unfortunately was full due to a meeting there but there was parking at the rear, if there is a meeting the place is busy, you can't sit in reception and breakfast is busy BUT the staff were very helpful and speak acceptable English, We were upgraded for free to a deluxe room with a fruit platter, gowns, slippers, bath tub, minibar, safe, sofa and chairs and we weren't disturbed from neighbours or the hallway as they have covered the tiles with carpet. We actually had a good night sleep, the bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows and there were black out curtains.The buffet breakfast was pretty good with quite a large choice of foods . There is also a coffee shop and alternative restaurant there. The lift has signs for fitness, massage , sauna and pool, none of which are at the hotel any more. They have been closed since March 2015 and are being relocated to a new area and not expected to be completed for another 2 years ! Internet wasn't the fastest but it was free and worked. Next to the hotel is a small night market selling local foods and a short walk, as well as a 7-11 convenience store and across the road (use the footpath) is a mall called the Avenue which has a mix of foods, Pizza, Korean, Japanese and Sizzler ( steaks, burgers, salad bar).. We were there as we had to visit the Government offices a short 500m walk away so it was very convenient for us. Overall it's a great hotel in a great position but don't be surprised if there is a meeting on, this won't ruin your stay but it's not a quiet hotel.

Overall quite pleased with our stay. Very clean and bright. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dining room is very spacious with good menu options at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet is mostly Thai food however. We wanted something close to the immigration department and this hotel is on the same compound. It is also very close to the expressways and easy to access. Also close to some shopping areas such as Central Chaengwattana and the Avenue. The only inconvenience we experienced was that the bathroom had no tub (shower only) and although our 2 rooms were adjacent one another, they were not adjoined via a door between rooms.

the hotel locates just 50 meters from ChaengWattana soi 13, easy to get taxi. The hotel room is clean and quiet, however, I experience strong food smell in the early morning (6am). I think it is food smell from breakfast on the second floor. My room is on the third floor, so I guess the higher floor should be ok. The staffs do their work, but not super friendly, none of them greet their customers if we encounter on the corridor or at the parking, but that is not a big issue. There are small car park lots, let's say 10 cars. All in all, I am impressed with my stay.

The hotel is clean and tidy and very near to Don Mung airport, It is perfect as a 1 night stay as a place to stay before travelling from DMK. The best feature for me, was the car park there. It is covered, very large and locked - very secure. It costs 100 baht a night, first night free as you have booked a room there. The room is OK for one night, clean and functional and costs around 700 baht. The hotel is very hard to find even though it is very close to DMK. There is a free shuttle sevice to DMK, but it only runs at 6am and 7am. Taxi from the hotel to DMK is around 100 baht. I stayed there 1 night and parked for 9 days and the cost for parking was 800 baht. I was very pleased to stay here overnight as we had a very early morning flight to Korea and it meant we did not have to miss a nights sleep with all the extra travelling to DMK, Very relaxing and stress free (well reduced anyway!).

Ebina Hotel is really really near don muang airport that's why a few airport cab drivers seemed hesitate to drive us, so we didn't want to bargain when the taxi counter staff charged us 200baht. From hotel to airport, the very nice lady cab driver used meter and the fare was about 100 baht only. Hotel to Chatuchak market is not too far but the journey back is further due to one-way road and cab driver have to drive pass the hotel on the other side of the road towards airport then u-turn after IT Mall. After passing by two 7-11, ask the driver to turn left into the lane , you will see the tall hotel on the left. The hotel surrounding might look remote at first, but after exploring, in fact it's quite happening. There is a big spa & massage place next door(staff quite friendly), and a restaurant (in residential house setting) which serves very very yummie thailand food, many local customers, we ate there every night-big bone soup, papaya salad, bbq fish, etc. all are really aroi, price reasonable and staff are friendly, miss the food... There is a market right next to the hotel too which opens in the morning till around 1pm, yummie food & lots of stuff to buy. There are also several convenient stores outside the hotel. Staff of Ebina Hotel are very friendly & helpful, especially Ms Chanchao & Kat-sorry if I spell your name wrongly :). Concierge always willing to walk all the way outside the hotel to call for cab for us. The room we stayed is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We like the breakfast too, many variety, fruits, salad, noodle, etc. Will stay in this hotel again.

Booked a double queen room through agoda, arrived late at night to be given a twin room which was much, much smaller. Nothing could be done that night as it was a night receptionist. Next day we queried with both agoda and the hotel reception. Reception made the relevant calls to agoda and cleared up the problem and moved us into the correct room which i had booked. The double queen room was very nice lots of space in the room which we needed as we had three large suitcases. Comfy queen size beds, shower room and toilet also nice. The Room also had a fridge and a safe. Note some of the roads in the area close at 11:30pm so you will need to go via the roads near the university when they are closed. You can hear aeroplanes occaisionally but they weren't really loud enough disturb our sleep.

Pros: 1) close to Don Muang airport, 2) a very good restaurant only a few steps away, called Hidden Backyard, 3) shopping mall about 500m, called Tesco Lotus. Cons: If you plan to stay in Bangkok for a few days, this hotel is quite far away from the city centre. You would better book something more central and not be stuck in traffic and spend money on taxis, if you want to see the city. Overall, I would really recommend this hotel, if your stay is connected with a travel from Don Muang Airport.

This hotel is very new and clean. The room is very good and big. The bed is very comfortable and nice. I love it here. Will come back again. The staff is really really nice. She helped me with everything. They even provided free dessert when I came back from work. Breakfast is very good. They change menu every single day. Especially dessert, it is very varieties. The hotel also has a free bike in case you do not have a car to go out. You will love it here.

I booked this hotel as I had a very long journey from the Gold Coast and was flying out next day to Chiang Rai. Be aware that it is walking distance from Don Mueang Airport, walk across the aero bridge through the Hotel lobby of Amari Hotel and out onto the Street, I was quoted 200 baht from the taxi waiting there. Walk along the road to the 7/11 turn left and it is only couple of hundred metres. Check in was very quick and the young lady carried my 20kg bag upstairs as there is No lift. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.I did not eat there so cannot comment on breakfast. I thought the Hotel should be rated above 2 star as it was excellent value for money. I suggested to the Manager that they should place a sign on the road near Amari Hotel to make it a little easier to get there, I was lucky I spoke to a person at the 7/11 who had previously stayed at the Hotel. When travelling I will use this hotel again, excellent.

I've been flying domestically to Bangkok for a day/night stay and so far this has been the best place I've found that's walking distance to the airport. bear in mind if you choose to stay at a distance to far to walk to and from the airport you must factor in your travel expenses when reviewing the price of the hotel. the walk is about 10. minutes and its in a nice mini town which has its own charm independent from the mainstream Bangkok. the room aims at comfort and convenience, it doesn't have a soundproof door so some sound does intrude but the hotel is down a Soi so it escapes the more invasive noises of vehicles. the pool is great escape from heat and harsh life of the capital. the lady at the restaurant on the top floor is extremely helpful. I've been trying out a. number of hotels around Don Mueang Airport and after finding this my search is finally over.

we stayed in a room for 2 plus an extra bed, still the room is pretty good. it is new/ clean with friendly staff. buffet breakfast line is pretty good too. very value for money we spent. wifi connection is awesome! housekeeping vice is also great! only that the hotel is located deep in soi 10 chaengwattana, if u dont have ur own car, then u have to find a taxi. but if u have ur own car, then it is great! coz they provide quite spacious area for parking, and the hotel located not far from it square, or around 10-15 mins drive from central chaengwattana

Western travellers are not comfortable with the name "Buddy" in the hotel name. They think it is a cheap low class hotel becasue of the "Buddy". It's certanily not bad to be friendly, "Buddy" -like but it's not suitable for hotel name if you want to attract westerners. Sad coz the Buddy Oriental Riverside is a fantastic hotel! A SLEEPING BEAUTY!!! I have stayed in more than 100 hotels in Thailand - from 2 stars to 5 stars (Royal orchid Sheraton, Ramada Riverside) but this is my favourite. I and my wife (who is thai) just love it. Great personal, great breakfast, 2 great pools, such beautiful decorations and artefacts, such spacious rooms, diner, outdoor restaurant by the Chao Praya river,secluded from traffic and the. And on top of that this beautiful colonial style architecture with high ceilings in rooms and everywhere.. This second time my wife and I also tried the spa with massage and that was the best we have had in all Thailand, and then we have had about 1000 massages around all Thailand, ok! And on top of it all - since the main road is a bit away,the serenity, the calmness, and just the slow river traffic... wow... I am sure you are gonna love it if you go here too. This is actually a 5 star hotel,. ok. /
