I am a Hotelier and I was amaze of the excellent service that we got from every single employee of the Hotel. Bell boys, receptionists, Rooms Division Director who even met us and welcomed us to the beautiful Hotel, restaurant staff, cleaning ladies. Check-in and check-out easy and personalized. Excellent facilities even for kids, beautiful and spotless room, nice gym and the best breakfast we had in Phuket, we stayed in other 5 star Hotels before Mai House but I really wanted to try this Hotel because of the excellent reviews and I am so glad I did. Next time I go back to Phuket will be just to stay the whole stay at Mai House. Extremely recommended to anyone. Location is on Patong Hill so 5 minutes from the center with beautiful views of the sea. You should try their cocktails at the Mai Sky Bar while enjoying the sunset!

i have been staying at new deluxe rooms with a view to a swimming pool. whoever is reading this i will tell my point in east to read manner! about location: if you are young and haven't visited phuket before then it worth it. it is located in the heart of everything.. as soon as you go out life is boiling outside. when you go inside it like separate place with completely different from street atmosphere. about the hotel: room we stayed was pretty good. modern air-con that doesn't break. the only problem is with the smell in bathroom... and the fact that it is separated from bedroom with a just window. so if your partner is asleep and u want to take a dump they will hear everything! about the staff: they are above average. due to the language barrier. beside the reception people no one talks proper english. also the door in the bathroom was a slider door, and it jammed so we couldn't move it. i had to ask 4 times for someone to come and fix it. i understood the it is pointless asking them over the phone so i had to go to the reception 2 days in a row to get them fixed. about the food: in short - the best you will find nearby !! breakfast buffet was just one the best. it has everything starting from orange juice bacon strips, omelette ending with yummy thai soupsi have tried food at a lot of places but it couldn't beat morning breakfast so add breakfast if you are booking. about the drinks: very nice cocktails in swimming pool area. they have a deal - if you buy one you get second for free. so what i did was i bought one coconut cocktail with extra malibu for i think 250 baht and got second one with extra for free. but it took time to explain to the bar staff cause their english! hope it helps

After reading other reviews I wanted to cancel and change to other hotels but thankfully I didn’t. Book the Jacuzzi room and everything is perfect. Bed is king size and soft yet firm. Shower water pressure is good. Private Jacuzzi is amazing. Huge space and the 2 chairs are comfy and good for us smokers. Tho I would suggest the shade can be adjustable instead of having it fixed at closed so we can sunbathed. House keeping is top notched. We felt bad because we had sand all over the room floor but they did helped to clean it all out. Even the bedsheets and toilet filled w sand. It was really Clean! And changed the towels too. One of our friend crash in (too drunk) at like 3am but there wasn’t any charged so I guess I’m lucky. Breakfast was the same for 2 days straight and not too extensive. There’s egg station so it’s good. They allow us to put our luggage after check out since our flight is in the evening. The lounge / waiting area is comfy. You can just sit / sleep / smoke there too. Carpark was free for our bikes. Thank you security for helping me park my bike. And the reception lady (extremely short hair) thank you for allowing us to extend for 1hr and for the early check in (11.30am is damn early so HUGE thanks) also, the place is not that near the party area (5 to 10mins walk) so you can definitely sleep at night. The rooftop pool close at MIDNIGHT!! Surf house next door sells amazing burgers. Rooftop pool bar is on the pricey side. the only cons I would say - it’s on the expensive side. But if you’re willing to splurge, I’d say go for it.

The hotel is located in easy accessible location. You will find everything you need in and around the hotel. Very easy to go to the Patong Beach and also if you want to enjoy the night-life of Phuket. Rooms are very tidy. The Rooftop Pool is the highlight of the hotel. One of the best experience you will get in the pool. The staff are awesome, starting from the concierge to the housekeeping staff everyone is friendly. Specially the reception team, they are very helpful and understanding. And not to forget ‘Funnie’(receptionists), she is the star of the hotel. The moment we checked-in we were greeted and welcomed by her in a very professional manner. Very good communication skills and very good spoken English. Helped us in all possible ways she can and also recommended some places for sightseeing. I really would love to see ‘Funnie’ welcoming me in my next trip to The Marina Phuket Hotel. Will surely visit again and recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Phuket.

For us, it's our first time at Phuket and we read up a lot of reviews before booking. Pro: the bliss hotel is at the far end of the beach, fret not, there are still shops and stalls along the stretch of the road and you might even get cheaper deals since you're buying from the far end of the town. The resort is quiet and good for chilling.The jacuzzi bathtub is huge and perfect for couples. The beach is jsut across the resort hence you can go back to your hotel anytime if you need. We did it multiple times to take our phones and change clothes! Cons: the toilet seems to have some loopholes, but we DIY and covered it with papers. The house keeping did not change our towel or bath robes daily despite us not putting in on the rack. The bathtub was not cleaned properly and sands can still be seen after the cleaning. Overall, satisfied with the stay in Bliss Hotel and Jay, the front desk receptionist was very helpful towards us throughout our stay in the hotel. Thanks friendly security!

It was my first time to Phuket and I was conscious about where to stay, so I did my homework for 2 months beforehand. Only in the end, I decided to choose to stay in Sleep With Me. I prided myself for doing that because it is really the best hotel to stay in for those who do not want to splurge unnecessarily for luxurious 5-star hotels. The location is right in the middle of all the happenings in Phuket, yet it is very quiet at night, so I had good-night-sleeps for my 5 nights stay. The service is well-done, the breakfast is more than satisfactory and everything you need is close-by...tuk-tuks, taxis, Jungceylon shopping mall, massage and spa centres, Bangla street, 7/11, great food, hundreds of local souvenirs stalls and etc. Stay here! You won't regret!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Amata. We had a modern design Grand deluxe room and the view was amazing. Love the swimming pool and the staff are also friendly. The hotel is very close to Jungceylon Shopping Centre and there are many food court/Banzaan food market nearby if you want to save money. Also close to Bangla Road but still far enough from the noise of the club. Should try the "Planet Massage" just right next to the hotel on the main building. You will not miss it, as it is located right next to the swimming pool. They offer a "proper massage" and you can really fell the pressure because the masseur have good experience. The boy at the tour agent on the "RIGHT HAND SIDE" of the Planet Massage also offers the best and cheaper deal for any tour around Phuket (we have tried to look around the area and so far he always offered the best deal). The only bad experience we had in Phuket was during the airport transfer to the hotel. We paid for 130Baht per person for the mini van at the Phuket Airport to be transferred to our hotel and the driver was driving like crazy, every passenger in the van was scared. It seems that he was stress or overwork and just want to go home. but this driver was really really BAD, dangerous & rude. Very shocking..... as they still allow him to drive. The driver also stopped the van for half an hour in their company's office to offer tour package for all the passengers (C'MON....ALL OF US WERE ALREADY TIRED & it was late at 9pm from a long 10 hour flight from Oz & we just want to go straight to our hotel). I would suggest if you don't mind to pay a bit more, you can just pay for 800baht for a taxi from the agency at the airport to the hotel, OR make a booking from Amata Resort for a taxi to pick you up from the airport as the hotel also charge the same 800Baht for a taxi transfer.

Fantastic hotel! We absolutely love the hotel location which is on the mountain. No worries about having problem heading to the city/Patong Beach as they provide free shuttle bus service to and fro (limit to 17 pax per way so do book your slot early). We book a Panoramic Suite and it's so PRETTYY! View was breathtaking! Nothing we could ask for more... You can dip in your own private pool and oversee the ocean and city. All was good, just 2 minor problem we encounter. #1 is the aircon temperature, unable to get a temperate that is just nice.. 24 degrees is tooo cold and 25/26 is toooo hot and stuffy.. No in-between so have to wakeup middle of night to toggle it around.. #2 is the bathing shower head temperature. Suddenly it will turn cold and super hot! But once you got the pattern you could predict it and avoid it. Thanks for the complimentary rose petals in the bath tub, lovely warm decorations on the bed and the birthday cake for my hubby! He was really caught by surprised and we love it! Breakfast location was fantastic view too! If it's not too windy, you can dine outdoor which you can oversee the gorgeous breathtaking ocean view! A great spread of food selection too! Love it and we will definitely be back for our next stay in Phuket!

Its our umpteenth time in Phuket. This time we decided to choose Ramada as we attracted by the large rooms. We booked 2 Premier Pool View Rooms and got it on the 4th floor, which were not bad. 1. Rooms were clean- no doubt they took sometime to clean the room and I totally understand cause there was only 1 nice lady working on that floor in the morning. 2. The staff were mostly friendly. Efficient. 3. In House Spa was amazing. Except for the noisy aircon. 4. Halal Breakfast buffet. We have had "halal" breakfast buffet before but they were not totally halal. My parents were spoilt for choice. They really enjoyed their breakfast. It was a wide spread. 5. Wifi- strong signal. 6. Swimming pool is good. Not slippery. Something they might want to look into would probably be the tiles in the shower. they do get slippery when wet. On the whole we enjoyed our stay at Ramada. If you want some peace in the bustling Patong Beach, we recommend staying here. Very family friendly hotel. Thank you for the birthday surprise eventhough they came when I was not in the room.

It meets all my requirement of a 5 star hotel. So for it to be just 4 star, it exceeds my expectations to be honest. The room was cleaned daily, even for bedsheets and pillow cover. Great pool with a nice view of phuket. Literally right in front of Bangla Road and next to a big shopping mall and the new Central Mall. Fantastic location for both families and party goers. Breakfast was not up to expectation, expected at least a Thai dish from selection but there was none. Skip breakfast unless you don't mind just bread, omelettes and fruits. Only glitch is that the door's mechanism died on us at 1am when we're tired from our day. Had to wait almost an hour for the crew to manually open the door and swapped in new batteries for it. As always, the crew was professional and polite in handling the situation. Will come back again here next time round.

Our entire stay in Grand Mercure is perfection. We arrived around 2AM and were greeted with a warm welcome from Jackie, the receptionist and the rest of the staff. Thailand is known to be welcoming people.. and I feel the sincerity in them. We were escorted to our room.. and wow, it was what we were looking for.. the view of the pool.. the serenity.. and the feeling of being pampered. Jackie even called up to check if everything is okay. We stayed in Phuket for four days and majority of which were spent outside - Day 1: Arrival, Day 2: City Tour, massage, and Simon Cabaret, Day 3: Phi Phi Tour and Phuket Funtasea, and Day 4: was supposed to be James Bond Island Tour. However, we decided to cancel our day 4 trip to savour Grand Mercure's inviting pool, shop at the market area in front of the hotel, and at Jungceylon which is just a 10-minute walk... and again, massage to complete our trip. Overall, Grand Mercure is the place to be while in Phuket. Great staff.. and perfect location - near the beach, shopping areas, nightlife.. Simply, perfect!

Location is key for any new travelers visiting Phuket, was next to the beach, and a short walk to practically anywhere in Patong. Facilities were very clean, hotel is new. Minor things are off, like an impractical sink in the middle of the room, and light switches for every light bulb, but overall really enjoyed the hotel. Great rooftop pool and bar with scenic views of Patong and Patong beach, with good amenities at your doorstep, including a Muay Thai ring, and night market. Breakfast was good too, I would recommend to any group of traveler visiting for the first time!

Loved the hotel! Such an amazing location. 2 second walk from the main strip - next door to the market and shopping centre - next door to an amazing massage parlour. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful and made our first time in Phuket one to remember. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel looks exactly like the photos! They gave us suggestions of where to go, what tours to do, what bars to attend at what restaurants to go to. The inclusive buffet breakfast was pretty basic but we were happy with it. Pool area was very clean and relaxing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering visiting Phuket!

Visited Phuket with 6 adults and 2 kids. It is it’s our first time visiting Phuket and the hotel provide awesome services! They have very good swimming pool. The only comments We had was on the food varieties. Should have more varieties as certain foods are presented daily. Praise must be given to the friendly front desk staff! They provide awesome guide and help when needed! We are disappointed with tour desk located in the hotel because no drinks was provided during our city tour as indicated in package. Also they didn’t bring us to certain attraction claiming that the place is closed and no animals. But no revision in the package was granted. When we ask the tour staff (who is different to who we paid - due to she is on leave), we were informed that she don’t know and nothing can be done. There are so many tour outside the hotel and along streets, so we took subsequent tour to Phi Phi island from other tour agents. Overall, best hotel in town even though bit of walking from Patong Beach & Bangla Road (10 mins).

Going to a resort island like Phuket means you have to stay out and enjoy the outdoors. The only reason why you'd go back to where you're staying is to refresh, take a shower and have a good night's sleep (if sleeping is an option at all despite the evening and wee-hour activities) so you can enjoy the superb breakfast in the morning, courtesy of The Coffee Club. The Bloc is exactly that! A great room with a balcony view, nice shower, cozy bed, abundant supply of drinking water and a good WiFi connection. I brought the rate down to 4 under Facilities because the TV had no other program but local, Asian and news channels (no HBO, Fox, ESPN, NBA/Balls). But I get the idea - Phuket tourists are supposed to be out and enjoying the outdoors not staying in the room and watching TV! The pool, the superb breakfast and the hospitality of the hotel staff is already a plus! If I get a chance to return to Phuket, I will definitely book a room again here!

One of the best place I've stayed, start from the security that will greet you when you came, receptionist who assist you upon check in and inquiries about tours, polite and very helpful, housekeeping staff that greet you and clean your room beyond standard, management who greeted you in the morning with smile, F&B who assist you in the morning even there not smiling or even greeting the guest, though the room was old, still clean and the ambiance of thai style was really impressive, towels has to be change bekos it's a little bit old, bed was really amazing to sleep with, bathroom need renovation ,water pressure need to improve. No hot water on the basin water but the bathroom was spacious, few mosquito as it was surrounded by plants all over but you can buy mosquito repellant, it's reasonable that there was little bit noise as it was near to bangla road,value for the money but I will recommend and surely will come back on our next visit to Phuket

Hotel staff friendliness is 5 star The pool is 5 star really huge Pool bar food taste great Location is 15 mins walk to jungceylon mall Location is 5-10 mins walk towards Patong Beach ( the hotel is not beach front or view ) Please do not get conned by taxi operators and tuk tuk , the max you should pay for jungceylon or patong is 200 thb that is already ripped off price ! So if You can walk please walk ! The Thais cannot wait To finish up your money There are bike taxi and tuk tuk taxi Many many cafes and small bars, massage parlors ( clean services and special ones included ) so please know which one you are walking into. Housekeeping for the hotel is under average and under staffings. Rooms not clean up properly. Novotel please check your standard of cleanliness. Hair is everywhere along the room corridors. Tourist, please take note. You will somehow get con in Phuket so please be a wise traveler. This is hotel is highly recommended for young kids because of the kids activities and the pool I totally do not recommend Phuket for elderly as it is not convenient to walk and climb the tuk tuks

We wanted something a bit special and got it with the villa room. Not cheap for asian standards but was possibly the best appointed room I have stayed in during my 10 years in Asia. Staff were professional but friendly. Hotel restaurants were excellent - espcecially the Thai by the pool. Hotel helped with booking our James Bond Island trip, which is a must if first time to Phuket. Hotel also offers a Thai cooking class. I recommend it as a unique and enjoyable way to have a 5 course lunch. All-in-all a great 4 night stay and will be back.

The hotel was located in a short lane from the beach road. Safety was assured as there was a guard house maintaining the security in the lane. The Banana Walk in front of the hotel will be ready soon. It will be THE place to unwind at night. However just hope that the noice will not disturb the guests in the hotel though. Surprisingly, we were upgraded to pool view rooms with a balcony. Sitting on the chair overlooking the swimming pool was a real relax after a long day out. The staff, both at the reception and the bellboys were very friendly and helpful. We booked the buffet breakfast for all the days when we were there during check-in and got a 50% discount. The spread of the buffet was very wide. I guess it was one of the best in Patong. The room was quite compact but comfortable. The toilet was seperated from the bathroom. Thus quite inconvenience after using the toilet to wash hands. As it was on open concept, it would be quite embarrassing if the two guests want to maintain privacy.

It is very clean and nice place for rest and relaxation. The atmospher is very calim and quiet. The hotel is excellenty designed with a variety of palm trees planted around, and provision for running water which adds to the screnity of the atmoshphere. The builing is spread out which gives it openness and freshness. Walking within the precincts of the Villa is itself a treat. The Patong beach and shopping centre are nearby; however, since the villa is situated on a hillside it may not be very convienient for many visitors to go to the beach or shopping center on foot. For this purpose the hotel runs an hourly free transport to the shopping center and the beach. The best nightlife of Phuket falls on the way to the shopping center and the beach, I mean the Bangal Road which is flooded with bars and Phuket special night clubs. The only problem which we faced was that there is no halal food avaiable at the hotel. We booked the hotel with breakfast but we cold only take fruits etc as they cock even eggs in the same pan in which they prepare omeletes with ham. If the hotel caters to the Muslim need of hala food it will be very welcome for the Muslim guests, but perhaps they are not mindful of it.

Location of the hotel was perfect for us. There were many spas, places to eat & many shops too. The beach was about a 10minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel staffs were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet was perfect too. The spa at the hotel is in a open space where people can watch you while you're having your massages. There's not much privacy. However, there are plenty of spa outside of the hotel! Most importantly, there's hot water in the hotel rooms which is super rare considering that most hotels in Phuket have problems with running hot water. Overall, my stay at Bauman was fantastic! I would definitely book this hotel when I come back here😊

I actually upgrade the room from standard to superior room. The first time I saw this hotel, I felt so surprise knowing that this hotel is very near to Patong Beach (one of the best beach in Phuket). You'll never get both best location and best price with extra great room and service in one hand but in Rayaburi Hotel Patong. Trust me... The superior room has an open bathroom inside with bathtub and shower also. An open bathroom means there's no wall that divides the bedroom and the bathroom, only an big curtain. Quite impressed me at the first time I enter the room. For you, who don't get used to this kind of room, must not choose this room type. Just imagine... It would be a little awkward when you are laying down on the bed while your roommate do his/her 'business' in the toilet. Fortunately, I can stand that. :) Psstt, they have a series of bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion with a very nice smell. Love it. The room also has one safe deposit box. One note about this, I really appreciate the staff. On the second day I stayed there, I forgot to lock the safe deposit box while all my stuff in it. When I got back to the hotel, everything's inside. The breakfast is European style. They serve ham, sausage, potato/rice, omelet with generous toppings. Around the hotel, you'll find 7/11, mini mart, Subway so you won't get hungry. If you like to try local food, you can try satay (they have chicken, squid, chicken skin, chicken liver, chicken lizard, pork meat ball). You can find them along the street on the night. Or you can also try Tom Yum soup on the day. And for you, seafood lovers, you'll be satisfied.

Pros -prime location Indian food (Madras cafe) is just 100m away, lots of Indian food joints in that lane. Less than a kilometer to Patong beach. Breakfast varieties are very good, good for vegetarians too. The staff is flexible on the checkout time by an hour. It's 2pm to 12 noon. 2 bottles of water complimentary. Good towels, shower gel etc are available in the rooms Bed isn't sift, so got some good sleep after all the snorkelling and swimming done through Marks phuketsailtours. Cons- the Thai massage is done by experienced staff but kinda average. My internet wifi issue was never addressed. Nothing major on the minus side. The hotel is worth the money and one of the initial drops when you take the shared airport shuttle to patong. Also, the staff is well mannered and can speak English to a fair bit. I will definitely book this one if I make it to Phuket again. Keep up the good work. Best, Shyam

Siralanna Phuket Hotel is a very nice hotel. I really recommend this hotel because: - Clean and safe - Close to city center (10 minutes' walk to Bangla Street) - Hotel staffs are very kind - Delicious free breakfast - Free Internet access (Free PC access to the Net at lobby) - Free Tuk-tuk service - Hotel transportation (Only 150 bahts for mini bus) - Japanese TV program available - Some massage shops and a convenience store around However, one thing: - Noisy at mignight (street performance on the street until 4 am because of the day of Christmas????)
