"Visit Gatlinburg each year but only for an hour or so so this time wanted to spend a couple of nights so I could explore at my leisure. The Hotel was by the river and at the beginning of the town so a couple of minutes you were by Aquarium and then the main street. I couldn't afford a river view room but our room was up a little hill but on the ground floor of 3 levels - parking outside but a few steps to climb to carry luggage. The room was huge with 2 double beds, easy chair & 2 seater settee. Plus table/chairs - microwave & fridge. Slight negatives but not major - we had blinds at the window not curtains and children running up and down outside could have been a noisy. Also the walls seemed quite thin (unless it was due to a door dividing rooms as we could hear the people talk and cough in the next room. However just for 2 nights it was OK. No breakfast included but a nice place to eat on site. Staff were very friendly & helpful even to sending us texts on phone. "

"This hotel is.located close to the convention center and distilleries. Our room was very clean and the staff was polite and helpful. There was a hair dryer in the room for me to use. Our room was on a steep hill but there is a pathway to an outdoor elevator that took us straight to the ground floor at street level, it was very convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around without needing to drive anywhere. Texas Roadhouse is just across the street and there is a convenience store on the corner. Nice place to stay and the price was good. "

"Once pulling into the parking lot, I was not impressed. I told my husband that I sure hope it is better inside. Once we were inside that was definitely the case. The staff was nice, the rooms were nice and in a great location! There were a couple things that could use attention. One being there is no comforters on the beds, only a sheet and a fancy sheet. Two, the "heated pool" didn't seem heated at all as it is in the basement and the cold air return definitely made it less than enjoyable, too bad there wasn't a hot tub. Third, the elevator did not go to the basement which didn't affect us but would if we were older or handicap. Overall it was a good experience and we would consider staying again. "
