"So happy to find this hotel, probably the best in Teluk Intan. Bed and pillows are super comfy, and I also like their big window. I had a fried rice take away from their restaurant, it was nicely packed with a fried egg, salad and deep fried chicken nuggets. Location wise it is slightly away from town centre, but its walking distance to McD, and I also recommend the udang galah outside the main road."

"Room is small but tidy and clean. Everything is ok except the water tap in the basin is broken, but still usable. Since there are no anything that bothers me much, there is no reduction on stars. Hope to stay here again."

"This is a new hotel build in 2017, staff very nice and helpful. I booked 3 rooms (2 standard double and 1 twin). Standard double room slightly bigger compare with twin. Room and bath room also clean and new. Very comfortable and convenient. 7-11 and RM2 Shop with walk distance. Satisfy with this hotel and hope they will maintain their good service. Thank you."

"i'm usually okay with very basic accommodations including hostels and dorms as long as it is moderately clean. but angsoka is a little bit disappointing. i booked a triple room. At first they accidentally gave me a double room. but they did apologize and gave me my triple room later. the room wasnt ready. the cleaners just came out. there was no toilet paper, the toilet was really wet and there was a fly flying around. i think the room was sprayed with air freshener because it smelled nice. i went to the reception to get toilet paper and spoons. there wasnt any spoon in the room. there was no coffee but there is a water boiler. there is a water dispenser outside near the conference room so we need not boil water. the location is convenient and easily seen from the main road jalan cangkat jong and giant supermarket is just next to the hotel. it is a bit below expectation. Was expecting it to be cleaner. Staff was all friendly though. they patiently taught me how to get to the tourist spot. i think they are all locals and not foreign workers because they spoke the same type of malay language as i do. It was quite noisy when we arrived because our room was facing the pool and there were lotsa kids at the kiddies pool.it was noisy. at the reception"

"1)Limited Car Park space in front & side of the hotel . There’re extra parking space @ the back of the hotel but not so secure & pleasant. That’s all kinds of motorcycles & cars go in & out which appear not the residents of the hotel. Ppl gather around @ the back of the hotel n drank alcohol n making noises. 2) M floor water dispenser only dispense cool water n only that . Hot water not working . 3) That’s no Basin @ designated common area with direct fresh water tap instead of in-room reserved tank tap water . 4)Day Time Malay Male Staff was really helpful n polite with smile always. 5)Night Time Chinese Staff rather too shy to be front desk officer or too arrogant to say hi to residents. So far, Anson Hotel is consider as a stay-able place with my 4 stars rating . And I’m impressed by my deluxe king bed room so spacious, simple , neat & tidy . Lastly, I found that Anson Hotel have a good air environment, suggested to install the insect - repellent net @ the windows"

"Located in the most hidden part in the town area, or rather old town area. I love this place for its locality and being surrounded by many local good food, and i mean literally by walking distance. The room is fairly big for 2 adult, and is kept decently clean and is very quiet. Not much facility in the hotel though but the roof top is a good spot to overlook the township of Telok Intan (Anson Bay). The hotel is surrounded by the best of local food you can find in Telok Intan. Many of them are decades old recipe you can hardly find in other places. Ask the hotel front desk staffs, they are kind people and certainly are happy to introduce to you the food nearby. The town is not big but easy to stroll around. don't expect it to be like a big city but enjoy the slow pace town and be relaxed."

"I had a quite nice stay at this property. The cafe is hip and trendy, with a great atmosphere and also serves quite tasty food. Overall the hotel is clean and well taken care of, water comes out with excellent pressure and the shower is responsive when adjusting temperature. Internet speed is good too. Staff is very friendly and amicable. I would definitely come back the next time I stay at Teluk Intan. One minor recommendation for the hotel is to have at hand contact numbers of drivers that can pick up customers arriving at Ipoh airport or other locations, as Grab is really non existent in the area."

"If you're planning to book a cheap hotel for a short stay then I highly recommended this one. The rooms are small but it's nice and clean. You have the option to book a room without toilet which is cheaper. They have a lot of shared bathrooms outside the room with hot water and soap provided but if you want a room with toilet they also have. It's also near the city centre. "
