"Overlooked this hotel in previous bookings but a last minute change of plan made me booked this hotel and was surprised about its proximity to SM and Robinsons in the Iloilo City, cleanliness and rates. I wouldnt hesitate using this hotel again if ever I get a chance to visit Iloilo again. Even WIFi and internet connection were better then the higher rated one! "

"I booked a room for my nephew's mini vaction at another city. I wasn't sure if another family was joining us, so I felt safer getting a hotel at a mall and easily accessible. Turns out, they did join us and got a rm at the same hotel. We were given 2 rooms (1 w/ a queen and another with twin beds) with connecting doors which the kids made good use of throughout our stay to check on what the other was doing. You will need to get the staff to unlock the doors for you though. Perhaps they could leave individual keys in if the occupants prefer the doors not hanging open after they're unlocked. Eating is not allowed in the rooms, but they do provide a few tables and chairs in the elevator hall of each floor(at least, on the 5th where our rooms were). They did have wifi at the reception area, but we didn't get any signal on our floor even when they gave us passwords for wifi upstairs. So, if you need to work online, you may need to camp out at the Starbucks nextdoor. We slept like babies in our comfy beds, with 2 pillows each(usually an extra expense at budget/flashbacker hotels). The much-touted rain-shower was a bonus for my 7 y.o. nephew! I purposely did not purchase set meals from the hotel since we would normally be eating out anyway. (Since it was a required field above, i just picked the middle ground, as we didnt avail of this service) But overall, we enjoyed our stay at GoHotel, and likely to book here next time we visit Iloilo. "Our stay was perfect. The hotel is located in the centre of Iloilo city near shopping centres and places to eat. It has easy access to public transport and taxis are plenty, it is also near the Capitol. The hotel lobby is small but the room is large and very clean and comfortable. The Free wireless internet connection is faster than most in the Philippines. The staff is very friendly and good n English, room service is fast. Choices on the included breakfast is limited but is delicious. Food on lunch or dinner is excellent. There are occasional power interruptions in Iloilo but the hotel has back-up power source, so all is good."

"If you’re planning to go to Guimaras then the location works for you, since it’s only about a few hundred meters away. The hotel is far from the center of the city but near Iloilo City Hall. Also walking distance to Roberto’s, where you can find the famous siopao of Iloilo. Just don’t go walking around in the evening cos you won’t find any restos nearby and the surroundings are really quiet and deserted since all establishments are closed. Just stay inside anyways they got a nice room and a really comfortable bed. "

"This hotel only opened in the first half of 2012, so things are still new and nice. Still have promo rates in effect. Standard rooms are not very big, but the deluxe rooms are very spacious. We stayed in one of the 4 deluxe rooms with a balcony, which overlook the pool. If you like an ocean view, choose a room on the 4th floor, as the ones on the ocean side of the building have an unobstructed view of the ocean, whereas the view of some of the ones on the 3rd floor is obstructed somewhat. Most of the rooms on the 4th floor don't have a balcony, but there are 2 premium rooms that do. For lager groups there is also a Family room which has 6 single beds on 2 different levels, each with its own bathroom. The pool has a children's area and also a jacuzzi (no hot water, as that is not needed in the Philippines). The one drawback was that there are no shade umbrellas for the 4 lounge beds in the pool area, and those loungers are in the sun most of the day. The restaurant is poolside. The menu is a bit limited, but prices are good. We had free wifi in our deluxe room. The hotel is in an area of the city that does not have a lot of discos or bars close by, so there was no loud music and commotion at night. We are in Iloilo City numerous times each year and this has now become our favorite hotel there. We have already booked our next stay in August."

"We stayed in Grand Xing Imperial Hotel from Dec 28 to Jan 1. Even though we arrived early (11 a.m.) for our hotel check in of 12n.n. Mr. Kyle in the front desk allowed us to have an early check in & Ms. Meryl accommodated us very well in our convenience to select the food we'll eat for lunch. Everybody in their Flames restaurant was also very warm. We felt very convenient from Day 1 until check out. Rooms were also very well-kept. The lap pool was also very relaxing with the bar at its side for easy order of food. We'll definitely choose this hotel again whenever we are in Iloilo City!!! "

"Location is strategic. Walking distance from Robinsons Iloilo, and just a few bucks away from all the destinations we need to go to within Iloilo City (our cab fare never went over P150). It was easy to get a cab outside the hotel so accessibility was never a problem. Breakfast was ok, although options were limited. Room was ok, our only problem was that the towels looked a bit overused (dark white in color already). The design in the bathroom could be improved, the glass partition in the shower area (to the bedroom) could get awkward at first esp if you are staying as a group. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. Overall, it's a good value hotel within Iloilo City."
