"We had a great stay here. We were in Bangkok for a baseball tournament at International School of Bangkok. This hotel was a great option, 15-20 minutes away. Great service, great staff. We booked 2 executive rooms that were adjoining and the boys loved it. The rooms, though small, were comfortable. We loved the option of having a snack in the executive lounge and having a glass of wine after a day of watching baseball. We had everything we needed and would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, there is a great local market on the other side of the Impact Center where my son and I found some great deals. We hardly had to bargain because everything was already great prices. If you stay here, check it out."

We stayed here for two nights with a large group and the staff were very accommodating in ensuring that our rooms were all together. The rooms are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds; the breakfast has a huge variety of food to choose from and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also great for us - close to the airport, markets out in the street, a shopping mall across the street with a large supermarket and numerous options of where to eat (fast food, restaurants and a food court) all within walking distance and as we were there for a swim meet at the International School Bangkok it was only 10 - 15 minutes to the school. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - we will be staying here again.

For those using Don Muang Airport for international or within-Thailand travel, Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok Hotel is perhaps the most convenient location to rest at. The best thing about this hotel is that it is not near the crowded central Bangkok. But even if you decide to travel to inner Bangkok, taxi meter is not expensive. Don Muang area is very nice to be at. You can travel to Nonthaburi and Pathumthani very easily. If you're here for a shopping spree, The Mall at Nonthaburi, Central Rattanathibet, even Zeer Rangsit and Rangsit Futurepark are all alternatives and far from the beaten path. Food and drinks are available at the hotel, but I'd recommend you learn some basic Thai for conversation, which will help a great deal cos local food providers are just across the road from the hotel, with sane local prices. I picked up a black tea for 160B at the hotel lobby lounge. Across the road? 20B. So do consider learning basic colloquial Thai. Include it as your total travel experience. Learn the language, the culture... and I'm sure you'll be visiting Thailand again, and again... even though your flight is 12hrs far away. The hotel itself has a nice pool which is far from public view, perhaps only visible from the air. This is not a new hotel, but some renovations must have been done at some point in time so it's not terribly old. The rooms are generously big and spacious so no issues if you (and your mate) are giants. Room facilities are all modern and up-to-date. Flat screen tv, hot shower, toiletries... all at your finger's touch. Hotel facilities are also more than adequate. Lobby bar, restaurants, and even a bridge to get you direct from the hotel to/fro Don Muang Airport. Trust me, this bridge (airconditioned) will be very useful to use during the hot seasons, so that you won't have to reckon the heat and the sunlight. Staff at this hotel are all helpful and friendly. Flying from Don Muang Airport is really easy when you stay at this hotel. Although it is quite far from the center of Bangkok, it is extremely good when you have limited time to reach the airport during the busy traffic of Bangkok. The bellboy who helped me with my luggage was one of the best I have ever come across in my many travels around the world and went out of his way to assist me and other residents to get a taxi ride to the airport with our early departing flight from Bangkok.

The Journey Hotel is one of the best minimalist hotels I have stayed in. This hotel has a business hotel feel to it and is very close to Don Muaeng Airport. It is perfect if you want to catch an early flight from Don Muaeng. The rooms are very very spacious! The price is very affordable and the staff there go out of their way to help you despite their lack of English conversation skills. You should keep in mind that this hotel is close to Don Muaeng. Which implies that it is far from the central Bangkok and all the attractions. It'll be a good 1 hr taxi ride in one direction considering there is no traffic congestion. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there some nice local and European food options at a stone's throw. This is a perfect stopover hotel and I would definitely book it again if I have an early morning flight from Don Muaeng.

As budget travelers, this hotel was slightly out of our price range, however with the 20th anniversary sale, it was well worth the stay. The hotel is located about 6km from Don Mueang airport, about a 120 baht ($4) cab ride there, and a 80 baht ($3.67) cab ride back to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, they organized a cab for us for our flight the next morning. The hotel is not ideal if you want to see the sights of Bangkok, but great for an overnight stay for a flight the next day. The restaurant has a variety of items, both Thai and European. The shower pressure was great as well. The surrounding area has a street with street vendors selling food if you are looking for some cheap authentic food.

The rooms were very satisfactory and whilst the hotel is placed the north of Bangkok away from the hustle of the city centre it was a peaceful setting. Service was good and the breakfast was varied, the pol and gym seemed to be closed more often than not. Eating here very resonate and over all good value for money. One thing should point out, taxi drivers seem to have a lack of knowledge of Bangkok up north, was very frustrating solace a map of Bangkok and show them where you ant to go, this is a good method as they ar unlikely to take a long route if you have a map,open whilst driving, good hotel go see if you like to be away from the western world.

had a full day of business at Immigration and had no desire to fight Bangkok traffic, so looked for something close and reasonably priced. This place priced right in my sweet spot (40-60 USD) and it wasn't even a short taxi ride; I could walk to the immigration office from the hotel in 5 minutes!! The hotel is also pretty darn convenient to Don Muang airpot- which handles mainly domestic, Air Asia and charters The rooms are spacious, clean and loads of tv channels - the vast majority in Thai, Chinese, Bahasa etc. But there are a few in English with stuff like news and a movie channel. All-in-all, not bad, not great. The class of room I booked (the cheapest one) is only available in twin bed arrangement, no single queen bed available, That may not be true for the higher categories. But other than the bed thing, it was frankly, an international class hotel room for 3-4 star hotels. The place is very clean, very new and modern. The staff quite helpful. Checkin was a breeze. I got breakfast as part of my package but didn't use it because when I went at 720AM, they were being totally innundated with a large contingent of Chinese tourists. I can only assume they were all in the same group. If you stay here, and expect to do the breakfast, you may want to avoid the rush hour, or not. Take part in the pandemonium. It could be fun. In short: when I have business in that part of town; I would certainly be willing to use these guys again

- A safe in the room would a nice added touch to lock up valuables eg: laptop/passport etc - modifying the lift to not "Ding Ding" so loud would enhance guests sleep if you are unlucky enough to be nearby it. - doors slamming in hallways & tiled hallways add to the noise of late night/early morning loudmouths - bed very comfortable - good water pressure & shower. Bathroom good size - desk to work at - reasonable wifi speed - limited laundry service but washing machines 200m down Soi 13 - fantastic coffee shop <100m down Soi 13 (The Tadpole) - internal restaurant : food was good - breakfast : make sure you are early to get a good (hot) feed

Ebina Hotel is really really near don muang airport that's why a few airport cab drivers seemed hesitate to drive us, so we didn't want to bargain when the taxi counter staff charged us 200baht. From hotel to airport, the very nice lady cab driver used meter and the fare was about 100 baht only. Hotel to Chatuchak market is not too far but the journey back is further due to one-way road and cab driver have to drive pass the hotel on the other side of the road towards airport then u-turn after IT Mall. After passing by two 7-11, ask the driver to turn left into the lane , you will see the tall hotel on the left. The hotel surrounding might look remote at first, but after exploring, in fact it's quite happening. There is a big spa & massage place next door(staff quite friendly), and a restaurant (in residential house setting) which serves very very yummie thailand food, many local customers, we ate there every night-big bone soup, papaya salad, bbq fish, etc. all are really aroi, price reasonable and staff are friendly, miss the food... There is a market right next to the hotel too which opens in the morning till around 1pm, yummie food & lots of stuff to buy. There are also several convenient stores outside the hotel. Staff of Ebina Hotel are very friendly & helpful, especially Ms Chanchao & Kat-sorry if I spell your name wrongly :). Concierge always willing to walk all the way outside the hotel to call for cab for us. The room we stayed is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We like the breakfast too, many variety, fruits, salad, noodle, etc. Will stay in this hotel again.

I had two bookings-one for a standard twin room and one for a premier studio. The standard twin was pretty much what I expected. The premier studio was okay though I felt there was room for improvement. First of all, there were quite a number of mosquitoes and the electric bug zapper in our room was not working. We told the staff but they were not able to address it in our 4 day stay there. The electricity also tripped in one part of our room. The bed, though huge, was very hard. Adding the option of a topper would be appreciated. There was also a bad smell, like a canal, that permeated the room towards the end of our stay. I'm not sure where the smell came from but I hope it can be addressed. For both rooms, the placement of the hair dryer was odd as there was no mirror within easy reach of the hair dryers. This makes it really hard to be sure you're blowdrying your hair the way you want. Overall though this is a pretty good place to stay if you need to be near the Impact area. Going to and from the central part of Bangkok may be a challenge though during rush hour as I found that most cabs and even car services would rather pass than go to this area at those times.

Spacious and clean room. It is located quite out of the place, but you can get around easily and affordably using transportation apps. Very quiet at night, wouldn't recommend to travel out on foot alone unnecessarily. If you are looking for a reasonable venue near Impact Arena, then this is a place you can consider. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the hotel staff service too!

-good clean hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. -rooms in good clean condition but not good soundproofed, so with mostly chinese mainland-tourist this can be a horror as their general ruthless behaviour can destroy everything (careless screaming on the floor at 3am at the floor, playing music with bluetooth-box at same time at the floor, never thinking of comfort of others) so, if you wanna search quiet and careful people its not the place to be as the Chinese are like mostly a pain in the a*s.

I chose to stay here since it is near the Don Mueang Airport and I arrived very late in the evening. I also got a good deal (since low season). I could walk here from the airport albeit with a little trouble (maps shows nonexistent roads to follow). To get here you have to go up on a skywalk from inside the airport that directs you to a hotel on the other side of the road. Took me a while to figure this out. The room I stayed in was clean and you got complementary water and coffee. The bed was very nice. Staying here for one night was a nice change from all the hostels I've stayed in. Could really rest up before my traveling into the central of Bangkok.

I've been flying domestically to Bangkok for a day/night stay and so far this has been the best place I've found that's walking distance to the airport. bear in mind if you choose to stay at a distance to far to walk to and from the airport you must factor in your travel expenses when reviewing the price of the hotel. the walk is about 10. minutes and its in a nice mini town which has its own charm independent from the mainstream Bangkok. the room aims at comfort and convenience, it doesn't have a soundproof door so some sound does intrude but the hotel is down a Soi so it escapes the more invasive noises of vehicles. the pool is great escape from heat and harsh life of the capital. the lady at the restaurant on the top floor is extremely helpful. I've been trying out a. number of hotels around Don Mueang Airport and after finding this my search is finally over.

We arrived at night and were a little worried at first but when we pulled up to the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were basic but very neat and tidy and perfectly adequate for a night near the airport. After settling in and booking our airport transfer with the friendly staff for the following morning we wandered down the main street for a bite to eat. We stopped at the first little street restaurant we saw and ate delicious authentic Thai food and met the locals with whom we sat and had a few drinks and lots of laughs. A great night all in all..!! We will definitely stay at the Pool House Service Residence again while in transit in Bangkok.

This is a small, friendly, budget hotel that is just a short drive awayf rom Bangkok's Don Muean International Airport. The rooms are reasonably sized for the price paid and they are definitely clean and tidy. I have stayed at this hotel three times now and I have not been disappointed in any way. Remembering that this is a budget hotel, they even include a free drive to Don Mueang. This is not a full facility hotel but there is a Family Mart about 5 minutes away and a 7/11 just a couple more minutes after that. You can stock up on the odds and ends that these shops sell. The staff are friendly, including the driver who likes to practise his English!

very very happy with this hotel. it is on the outskirts of bangkok nearer to government business district and close to duang mueang airport (old international airport) staff friendly, very helpful rooms very well presented. quiet good shower better location than you might expect - 2 smaller shopping centres close - one within walking distance which is more budget oriented and has plenty of western style food if you cant take local. plenty of street food nearby. walking distance to laksi mainline station, quick taxi ride to bts and mrt railway systems at mo chit. i suspect the prices are low due to the refurbishment and re launch as they could easily charge more so they must by trying to attract business back. we paid £20 per night and this was incredible value for money in my view. we didn't have time to try the food as my wife prefers street food. the pool is small but good, this isn't a family resort more a good quality business or short stay hotel and for this type of hotel this is high quality. we will definately return to this hotel.

Western travellers are not comfortable with the name "Buddy" in the hotel name. They think it is a cheap low class hotel becasue of the "Buddy". It's certanily not bad to be friendly, "Buddy" -like but it's not suitable for hotel name if you want to attract westerners. Sad coz the Buddy Oriental Riverside is a fantastic hotel! A SLEEPING BEAUTY!!! I have stayed in more than 100 hotels in Thailand - from 2 stars to 5 stars (Royal orchid Sheraton, Ramada Riverside) but this is my favourite. I and my wife (who is thai) just love it. Great personal, great breakfast, 2 great pools, such beautiful decorations and artefacts, such spacious rooms, diner, outdoor restaurant by the Chao Praya river,secluded from traffic and the. And on top of that this beautiful colonial style architecture with high ceilings in rooms and everywhere.. This second time my wife and I also tried the spa with massage and that was the best we have had in all Thailand, and then we have had about 1000 massages around all Thailand, ok! And on top of it all - since the main road is a bit away,the serenity, the calmness, and just the slow river traffic... wow... I am sure you are gonna love it if you go here too. This is actually a 5 star hotel,. ok. /
