Hotels near Krua Ban Kru

we came in one day early and were planning to leave one day earlier than in our booking. had booking from next day until the next friday. staff was very friendly and shifted our reservation one day backwards. how many hotel would do this without extra cost?? anantasila did, wonderful!! we really liked the atmosphere. the hotel clearly puts effort on the garden and visual image. beach is cleaned every morning and staff at the beach bar and restaurant is just the best. room was ok. bed was a bit hard for my taste. overall a great hotel and we recommend it to anyone who likes quality and style!

There is no more charming place to stay in or around Hua Hin than the tranquil Nern Chalet. Well serviced and immaculate, this small white hotel is of modernist design with open planned foyer and restaurant leading out to a swimming pool right next to the beach, creating an airy, summery ambience of relaxed freedom. Nern Chalet is situated in Takiab at the far end of Hua Hin's southern beaches from where buses leave frequently for town- a 10 minute trip costing 30c. Cabs are three dollars but less interesting.So it is the best of both worlds;the hustle and bustle of town and the peace of Takiab,whenever you choose. There is a great view of Takiab's enormous, standing buddha all golden by the sea among the rocks of nearby monkey hill, upon which a temple complex sits.You can be up there yourself within 10 minutes with a coffee being served !! Close to the hotel ,and near a laundry where you can have your clothes laundered for 30c a kilo, is the best Thai massage clinic i have found in more than thirty years of visiting most parts of Thailand. And Takiab boasts an array of restaurants to suit any budget. Sea food galore. And last,but by no means least,are the hotel's truly fantastic staff who, while helpful and sincerely friendly,are never intrusive. They dont pester you with local tour deals, nor do they expect you to restrict your dining experience to their restaurant,as many places do. Here is a red hot tip: if you are arriving at Bangkok's airport on your way to Hua Hin, dont endure the hassle of going into the city with all its related expense, loss of time and wear on the nerves. Cab it !. Nern Chalet can arrange to have you met at the airport by a driver who will put the $90 charge on your bill. Or else hire a taxi yourself.It is such a convenient way to begin your lovely holiday. Only a place as special as Nern Chalet could have prompted me to write this , my only review I have ever done.

This is a hidden gem of six bungalows, themed in blue and white. From our previous hotel which was closer to Hua Hin town we took the green bus heading away from town, we then walked for about 10 minutes to find the Zeaza Bungalow. Although signposted off the main road, a further marker closer to the place would be beneficial as it was a little bit hard to find, but if if you just look for the blue roof you will get there. The staff spoke little English but that wasn't a problem, they were on duty until 8pm when the gates were locked and the security devices took over, although they were still on site if required, which they weren't . The bungalows were spotless and luxurious. The shower was hot, the mattress was firm and comfortable, the pillows were just right and the bedding was the best we had experienced over our two month stay in Thailand ( a fitted bottom sheet and a duvet cover which unobtrusively zipped up) the air conditioning worked well as did the wifi. Our room included a set of bunk beds and a sofa which meant that the bungalow could easily have accommodated a family. The breakfast which was available till 10am was great, one morning we were given two fried eggs and bacon, the next it was sausage and eggs. Tea, coffee, fruit and toast were available as you wanted. The beach is less than a five minute walk away, if you can tear yourself away from the pool. We were the only residents for the majority of our three nights stay and we felt very lucky to have the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A real good value for money hotel, just 100m from Takiab Beach. Spacious, clean & quiet environment with fresh breeze. Fantastic mountain view, ust next to your balcony. Wonderful old lady there who can't speak English except Thai, will do all she can to meet your needs. Laundry super cheap, 50B for a big basket load where we usually need to pay at least 4 times more. Recommended to those looking for a transquil environment, close to beach but able to drive in order to get around.
