The staff , I didn’t get his name, standing by at the entrance door provided me a wheel chair before I got off taxi. He helped me with luggage and made check in smooth. He escorted to our room and offer free transport to and from Impact Concert hall. He drove us there and tried very hard to park as near as the entrance for me to easily access. He provided us phone number of hotel so that we can contact hotel once concert finished. We had smooth great night because of hotel excellent service. Next morning buffet breakfast, the restaurant staff proactively offer closest seat and also deliver food to my table by himself. It was very sweet of him. Upon departure, the staff who took care of me saw us at lobby. He ran to us and help us push the wheelchair for me. Taxi was prepared upon settlement. Everything was so perfect. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others!! Many thanks!!!!!!

This is the best hotel in this area. The friendliness and professionalism from all of the staff is what makes this five-star experience. I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews, unless a venue stands out above the rest and this place certainly does. Aside from a great location, every thing was above par. Rooms are clean and we'll furnished. The executive lounge and restaurant offer a fantastic breakfast with stunning views of the city. Checking in and out was so easy and fast. We come to this area of Bangkok quite often as my son competes in tennis tournaments at the LTAT which is located about 1km away. We always stay here and will continue to do so. Truly a fine hotel with the friendliness staff I've ever seen. Well spoken English as well. Thank you for making our stays memorable.

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Wanda Grand hotel. Right from the word go the whole stay was a breeze. Special thanks to Anocha at the reception desk. She was extremely helpful and so were her other colleagues as well. Anocha gave me an early check in and also a late check out because of my flight timings. She also took care of my other requests for a higher and quiet room. Thank you so much Anocha! The room was quiet spacious and had all the modern amenties. The breakfast too was great and had a lot of varieties. I would advice other fellow travellers that this area is far from the main town. Though you have the expressway for taxis, the traffic is pretty bad, took me an hour and a half to reach Siam Square. Please book this hotel only if you have work in this part of town. I had a concert to attend at Impact Arena which was 15 minutes from the Hotel, so worked fine for me. But nonetheless will definitely stay here again if I have to come to this area.

This is pretty much a stopover hotel for flights out of Don Muang airport. If you're arriving at a funny time or transferring, there is no better place to stay. The staff is great and very hospitable. The breakfast is amazing considering the cheap price if you include it in the price of the room when you book it. The pool is real nice and you can walk across a skywalk to Don Muang. We booked a pool view room which cost a little more but honestly, it wasn't worth the extra expense. Just save the money and keep you panoramic window covered. The room was big and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Great pillows with two different kinds to choose from. There is a market across the street that you can take the skywalk to. Exit next to the skywalk café. It has plenty of great, cheap street food to choose from. It is a little old so there are things that could be upgraded, like hallway carpeting and little things but nothing to discourage my 100% recommendation to stay here. Solid 4 star hotel with unrivaled value for all the amenities and dining choices.

My wife and I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for us. It is a rather long and not cheap ride from Suvarnabhumi (BKK).-we always arrange a car from inside for safety and security rather than take a public taxi-but the hotel is quite close to Don Muang (DMK)-though no airport noise. We usually stay a couple of days to unwind from the 30 hr trip before going to our winter home upcountry for about 4 months then another couple of days on the way out. The great attraction for us beyond the comforts of a nice hotel is the huge number of mainly Thai style restaurants (at least 40) in the Zeer shopping center. Excellent roast duck. A sushi bar. A food court and a food center. A supermarket. Bakeries galore. Shopping for any electronic item available in Thailand. Much ordinary quality clothing. All is directed to the local market. Foreigners are not a large part of the customer base though not at all rare. A night market in the parking lot. McDonalds. About 2 km from Future Park one of the largest shopping centers in Thailand. The hotel itself is very quiet. The hustle and bustle of commerce does not intrude on your rest. Several banks and ATMs. Great place for our needs.

The Journey Hotel is one of the best minimalist hotels I have stayed in. This hotel has a business hotel feel to it and is very close to Don Muaeng Airport. It is perfect if you want to catch an early flight from Don Muaeng. The rooms are very very spacious! The price is very affordable and the staff there go out of their way to help you despite their lack of English conversation skills. You should keep in mind that this hotel is close to Don Muaeng. Which implies that it is far from the central Bangkok and all the attractions. It'll be a good 1 hr taxi ride in one direction considering there is no traffic congestion. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there some nice local and European food options at a stone's throw. This is a perfect stopover hotel and I would definitely book it again if I have an early morning flight from Don Muaeng.

It was one of the best my last minute booking I’ve ever had. I found so friendly staffs when arrival. This place is truly new, clean and the room is so well decorated. I did enjoy my self service breakfast with toast, fruits, and a cup of coffee after working out in the gym. Great location for airport stay, within 5 minutes to the pedestrian overpass by car and walk straight to the terminal. The worst thing is that I only had one night stay here. I will definitely come back again.

i booked 4 nights not knowing how long my business in bkk would take. ended up staying only 2 nights, the hotel only charged agoda for the 2 nights. within 2 days i had a refund back through agoda and paypal. very happy with the service by all. i drove to hotel from the north east of thailand, but left my car at the hotel and took taxi's and the mrt, best way to get down town. also close to the thai ministry of foreign affairs.

had a full day of business at Immigration and had no desire to fight Bangkok traffic, so looked for something close and reasonably priced. This place priced right in my sweet spot (40-60 USD) and it wasn't even a short taxi ride; I could walk to the immigration office from the hotel in 5 minutes!! The hotel is also pretty darn convenient to Don Muang airpot- which handles mainly domestic, Air Asia and charters The rooms are spacious, clean and loads of tv channels - the vast majority in Thai, Chinese, Bahasa etc. But there are a few in English with stuff like news and a movie channel. All-in-all, not bad, not great. The class of room I booked (the cheapest one) is only available in twin bed arrangement, no single queen bed available, That may not be true for the higher categories. But other than the bed thing, it was frankly, an international class hotel room for 3-4 star hotels. The place is very clean, very new and modern. The staff quite helpful. Checkin was a breeze. I got breakfast as part of my package but didn't use it because when I went at 720AM, they were being totally innundated with a large contingent of Chinese tourists. I can only assume they were all in the same group. If you stay here, and expect to do the breakfast, you may want to avoid the rush hour, or not. Take part in the pandemonium. It could be fun. In short: when I have business in that part of town; I would certainly be willing to use these guys again

- A safe in the room would a nice added touch to lock up valuables eg: laptop/passport etc - modifying the lift to not "Ding Ding" so loud would enhance guests sleep if you are unlucky enough to be nearby it. - doors slamming in hallways & tiled hallways add to the noise of late night/early morning loudmouths - bed very comfortable - good water pressure & shower. Bathroom good size - desk to work at - reasonable wifi speed - limited laundry service but washing machines 200m down Soi 13 - fantastic coffee shop <100m down Soi 13 (The Tadpole) - internal restaurant : food was good - breakfast : make sure you are early to get a good (hot) feed

This hotel is best for staying if u have a connecting flight from DMK or BKK There is a fashion island mall close by which is good for branded shopping stuff if you have some time. Otherwise typical markets and tourist attractions are far from this hotel. This is not a tourist area at all. I didn't find any restaurants with menus in english. Otherwise in Bangkok tourist areas, all restaurants have bi lingual menus.

The hotel is clean and tidy and very near to Don Mung airport, It is perfect as a 1 night stay as a place to stay before travelling from DMK. The best feature for me, was the car park there. It is covered, very large and locked - very secure. It costs 100 baht a night, first night free as you have booked a room there. The room is OK for one night, clean and functional and costs around 700 baht. The hotel is very hard to find even though it is very close to DMK. There is a free shuttle sevice to DMK, but it only runs at 6am and 7am. Taxi from the hotel to DMK is around 100 baht. I stayed there 1 night and parked for 9 days and the cost for parking was 800 baht. I was very pleased to stay here overnight as we had a very early morning flight to Korea and it meant we did not have to miss a nights sleep with all the extra travelling to DMK, Very relaxing and stress free (well reduced anyway!).

Ebina Hotel is really really near don muang airport that's why a few airport cab drivers seemed hesitate to drive us, so we didn't want to bargain when the taxi counter staff charged us 200baht. From hotel to airport, the very nice lady cab driver used meter and the fare was about 100 baht only. Hotel to Chatuchak market is not too far but the journey back is further due to one-way road and cab driver have to drive pass the hotel on the other side of the road towards airport then u-turn after IT Mall. After passing by two 7-11, ask the driver to turn left into the lane , you will see the tall hotel on the left. The hotel surrounding might look remote at first, but after exploring, in fact it's quite happening. There is a big spa & massage place next door(staff quite friendly), and a restaurant (in residential house setting) which serves very very yummie thailand food, many local customers, we ate there every night-big bone soup, papaya salad, bbq fish, etc. all are really aroi, price reasonable and staff are friendly, miss the food... There is a market right next to the hotel too which opens in the morning till around 1pm, yummie food & lots of stuff to buy. There are also several convenient stores outside the hotel. Staff of Ebina Hotel are very friendly & helpful, especially Ms Chanchao & Kat-sorry if I spell your name wrongly :). Concierge always willing to walk all the way outside the hotel to call for cab for us. The room we stayed is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We like the breakfast too, many variety, fruits, salad, noodle, etc. Will stay in this hotel again.

Booked a double queen room through agoda, arrived late at night to be given a twin room which was much, much smaller. Nothing could be done that night as it was a night receptionist. Next day we queried with both agoda and the hotel reception. Reception made the relevant calls to agoda and cleared up the problem and moved us into the correct room which i had booked. The double queen room was very nice lots of space in the room which we needed as we had three large suitcases. Comfy queen size beds, shower room and toilet also nice. The Room also had a fridge and a safe. Note some of the roads in the area close at 11:30pm so you will need to go via the roads near the university when they are closed. You can hear aeroplanes occaisionally but they weren't really loud enough disturb our sleep.

Spacious and clean room. It is located quite out of the place, but you can get around easily and affordably using transportation apps. Very quiet at night, wouldn't recommend to travel out on foot alone unnecessarily. If you are looking for a reasonable venue near Impact Arena, then this is a place you can consider. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the hotel staff service too!

-good clean hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. -rooms in good clean condition but not good soundproofed, so with mostly chinese mainland-tourist this can be a horror as their general ruthless behaviour can destroy everything (careless screaming on the floor at 3am at the floor, playing music with bluetooth-box at same time at the floor, never thinking of comfort of others) so, if you wanna search quiet and careful people its not the place to be as the Chinese are like mostly a pain in the a*s.

I booked this hotel as I had a very long journey from the Gold Coast and was flying out next day to Chiang Rai. Be aware that it is walking distance from Don Mueang Airport, walk across the aero bridge through the Hotel lobby of Amari Hotel and out onto the Street, I was quoted 200 baht from the taxi waiting there. Walk along the road to the 7/11 turn left and it is only couple of hundred metres. Check in was very quick and the young lady carried my 20kg bag upstairs as there is No lift. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.I did not eat there so cannot comment on breakfast. I thought the Hotel should be rated above 2 star as it was excellent value for money. I suggested to the Manager that they should place a sign on the road near Amari Hotel to make it a little easier to get there, I was lucky I spoke to a person at the 7/11 who had previously stayed at the Hotel. When travelling I will use this hotel again, excellent.

I've been flying domestically to Bangkok for a day/night stay and so far this has been the best place I've found that's walking distance to the airport. bear in mind if you choose to stay at a distance to far to walk to and from the airport you must factor in your travel expenses when reviewing the price of the hotel. the walk is about 10. minutes and its in a nice mini town which has its own charm independent from the mainstream Bangkok. the room aims at comfort and convenience, it doesn't have a soundproof door so some sound does intrude but the hotel is down a Soi so it escapes the more invasive noises of vehicles. the pool is great escape from heat and harsh life of the capital. the lady at the restaurant on the top floor is extremely helpful. I've been trying out a. number of hotels around Don Mueang Airport and after finding this my search is finally over.

this is the first time I stay at this hotel but I found it great stay very quite small hotel I think only 40 rooms best ones are ground floor as soon as you open patio doors the swimming pool right there to jump in the swimming pool clean. the breakfast is ok more like a continental breakfast but they did start putting one hot meal out each day the food places around hotel not look good but the taste is to die for and great no tummy problems. the staff very helpful only speak little English but they understand and great price I booked through agoda.com better than deal direct with hotel. and only 15 min drive to airport in taxi about 100 thb = £2.00 great price

We were looking at a place to stay for 1 night near the ministry of foreign affairs. The location was very good for us, and with a convinient 7/11 near by. The hotel has been recently refurbished and the room we stayed in looked brand new with nice design and comfortable bed. The hotel is still under renovation but it didn't create any disturbance. The breakfast could better (in quality and variety) I strongly recommend this hotel if the location is convenient for you.

Western travellers are not comfortable with the name "Buddy" in the hotel name. They think it is a cheap low class hotel becasue of the "Buddy". It's certanily not bad to be friendly, "Buddy" -like but it's not suitable for hotel name if you want to attract westerners. Sad coz the Buddy Oriental Riverside is a fantastic hotel! A SLEEPING BEAUTY!!! I have stayed in more than 100 hotels in Thailand - from 2 stars to 5 stars (Royal orchid Sheraton, Ramada Riverside) but this is my favourite. I and my wife (who is thai) just love it. Great personal, great breakfast, 2 great pools, such beautiful decorations and artefacts, such spacious rooms, diner, outdoor restaurant by the Chao Praya river,secluded from traffic and the. And on top of that this beautiful colonial style architecture with high ceilings in rooms and everywhere.. This second time my wife and I also tried the spa with massage and that was the best we have had in all Thailand, and then we have had about 1000 massages around all Thailand, ok! And on top of it all - since the main road is a bit away,the serenity, the calmness, and just the slow river traffic... wow... I am sure you are gonna love it if you go here too. This is actually a 5 star hotel,. ok. /
