"I stayed there in superior room for 7 nights in Dec 2020. The hotel was nice. I like the room. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtain made the room completely dark. I really had a good sleep. Rain shower in the bathroom was also nice. I didn't book room with breakfast. Only ordered room service. The food was just fine but reasonable price. I used the Pool Bar several times. The two bartenders; Mud and Bank were friendly. Poorly the Bar didn't have happy hour or any promotion. Must have! The Housekeeping lady (Sorry I didn't ask for her name) was very kind and had service mind. I put DND on for the whole stay. I asked for make up room only once. But the Housekeeping lady always ask me to replace towels or give drinking water or collect trash whenever she saw me around. However, my only concern is Reception. I didn't get the welcome drink voucher but I saw people used it at the Pool bar (It's not a big deal but just .... anyway, the bartender served welcome drink to me when I told them that I didn't get the voucher.. good job!) The Reception staff seems less care of guests. They look sooo busy all the time. I suggest the hotel provide more and more training for Sequence of Service and Standard of Service. "

"I booked this hotel only because of the sauna (steam room). During check in, i asked which floor is sauna? Reception girl said that it's on second floor. She didn't told me that it's closed, out of service. Very disappointed. If i know that sauna closed, i didn't book this hotel (have many hotels cheaper, also new), because even it's close to Central Festival, but very heavy traffic on the road in front, even can't cross the road. Pool is working, but i don't need pool. If again i will searching for the hotel to stay, i will call in advance, otherwise if you dont have your own transport, no reason to book without sauna. Overall: it's ok, not bad, not good. - Sauna closed - Very heavy traffic road in front of the hotel - Locked aircon at 30 degrees (same as outside), you can't change it + New hotel and rooms + Clean"

"Dara Hotel Phuket was wonderful. Reception staff were happy and very friendly, very good English which was not only helpful but also nice in that you could have a conversation not just ask the basic questions. Rooms - Beautiful, Fresh, Clean and VERY comfortable. Meals - Selection of Thai dishes and a "Specials Board" that boasted beautiful Western dishes at very good prices. Pool Bar had the best Cocktails we have had for a while Pool - was beautiful, whether it was for a swim during the day or evening dip. Everything was every bright and clean. Breakfast was limited, no cereal, but everything we told them was taken under advisement, this is a new Hotel and they want to please and are grateful for advise and feedback. Not only do I recommend this hotel we re-booked it for the end of our stay. Staff were very helpful with our "extra luggage" and very good with our children"

"Very pleased to have chosen and stayed in the hotel, very near to our intended destination (Central Festival & Weekend Night Market). The hotel is built based on colonial style architecture similar to those in the Old Town, unfortunately, it is not a conservation building, but it still give a olden days feels with a modern touch. Pros: Near to Weekend Night Market (about 10 mins leisure walk). Near to Central Festival (about 5-10 mins taxi ride) - not advisable to walk. New hotel with clean environment. Friendly Staffs with a security guard at the entrance. Small "home" retails just besides the hotel, but nearest 7-eleven is adjacent to Weekend Night Market. Cons: Small room (Superior Room) - only a hanging bar for clothes, a small side table, very tight space left after opening our 20" luggage. Simple breakfast of cereals, bread, porridge, fried noodles & rice and other side dishes (fried eggs, sausages, etc) - not the nyonya breakfast which we have thought. Will still book this hotel again if we were to visit the Weekend Night Market & Central Festival in Phuket again."

We were greeted with coconut water and got checked in quickly. It’s a new hotel, with a beautiful pool, outdoor shower, AC, comfy beds, and great amenities. Great if you want to be near the Night Market, Old Town, Aquarium and mall. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. Highly recommend. "

"Great value. I ended up staying here more than a week. Pros: new, clean, comfortable bed, stylish room, comfy chair in room, good ac, roof terrace, location to malls and central Phuket, 7-11 very close. Friendly staff. Cons: location if you don’t have transportation (they rent a couple motorbikes so shouldn’t be an issue), noise as a couple neighbors use power tools randomly throughout the day. No safe, door locks seem easy to break into though I didn’t have an issue nor did it feel sketchy. No view from the rooms. Thin walls which wasn’t an issue most of the time. Overall Great value. Would definitely stay again. "
