"I booked double deluxe room with city view. Good points: 1. Spacious room. Ironing facilities (i.e. iron and ironboard) are provided in the room. 2. The room has the view of new infamous Terengganu drawbridge from afar. 3. There is shopping mall (Paya Bunga Square) just beside the hotel but it has just a few shopping lots in there. 4. Wide variety of foods available for breakfast. 5. Wide variety of TV channel available. Not so good point: 1. I hate the bathroom’s water tap faucet. It is so difficult to turn on the tap that it hurts my fingers each time I used it."

"On 02/05/2016, I booked 4 rooms (2 Deluxe Twin Rooms and 2 Family Deluxe Rooms for 10 persons) at J Suites Hotel, Kuala Terengganu for 2 nights from 29/05/2016 to 31/05/2016. Agoda had confirmed my booking with booking ID 94409403 and 94409066 on 02/05/2016. Rooms payment has been effected on 02/05/2016 as per my credit card statement dated 19/05/2016. I have paid the bank on 25/05/2016. We checked in to the hotel on 29/05/2016 about 6.30pm. The hotel receptionist informed that my name was not stated in their booking list. There has been no rooms reservation for us. Moreover, the hotel was fully booked. I were unhappy and argued with the receptionist that this is their problem with Agoda. Agoda had confirmed the booking and payment has been made. Meanwhile, I also called Agoda Support for assistance at 03-20531869 twice (@ 6.55pm duration: 4 min 30 sec and 7.01pm duration: 1 min 58 sec - automated phone answering system and the calls were left unattended) and 18666568207 (@ 6.55pm and 7.00pm - calls were cancelled due to incomplete phone number). Finally, one of the hotel staff, Ms Crystal was willing to help. She offered us 2 Deluxe Twin Rooms (room no. 3007 and 3008) for 2 pax each and 1 Family Deluxe Room (room no. 3012) for 3 pax. The remaining 1 Family Deluxe Room which I booked for 3 pax was replaced by 2 Deluxe Double Room with 1 king bed (room no. 3036 and 3037). She said no extra charges as we have made payment to Agoda. The issue was solved and I really appreciated their kind assistance. However, the story did not end here. We experienced power failure for that night, 29/05/2016 about 9.00pm. There were about 7 to 8 rooms affected by the power failure. Our rooms no. 3007, 3012 and 3037 were one of them. The hotel technician has checked and informed that the power failure was due to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) fuse box problem. They have called TNB to fix the problem and the matter has been tracked until 12.00 midnight. Finally, the problem has been reso"

"Overall design, space planning, concept, location and facilities were on point. You can tell the owner of this property is or was a very well travelled person. The experience of a well travelled person were shown in how this place were build, managed and up keep. Best of all it is sooo affordable. This place is less than a year old but soon surely fully packed on high season when many tourists will come down to Kuala Terengganu on transit before off to the jetty to Redang island. Strategically located in Kampung Cina where you can get the Georgetown or Malacca feel and ambience. Walking distance to main attractions such as Istana Maziah, Bukit Putri, Pasar Payang for shopping, jetty Shahbandar and many more. Best of all 7 Eleven is right next to the hotel and opposite is Star Anise cafe cool coffee place and cakes. In the morning you can go pass few shop houses and have breakfast at Black Coffee for nasi dagang. In the late afternoon can ride the hotel's bicycle around town for free."

"we use this hotel for a night's stay before we were off to pulau redang. it was a self drive trip from kl. overall an okay stay. room showing signs of aging though. our full length mirror was a shame, the silver coating behind it was peeling so badly, i can barely see my own face in it! breakfast was on 17th floor, nice view of surrounding area of the river banks, you can see the floating mosque of kt from here. coffee was strong local coffee, not your instant coffee or watered down version. while we were there, it was full occupancy on a saturday night, the buffet breakfast spread was at its best i guess, the rendang ayam was super authentic, for a long time i haven't had such good rendang ayam (btw, i am a big fan of malay cuisine.) parking is a bit tricky though, i arrive at 1.45am, the car park was full, i nearly have to park by the road side but i park at the vip spot without hassle the next morning because i left at 8.00am. we asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered eventhough 30 minutes later (said house keeping was closed, someone else have to go get it) at 2.00am. commendable i must say."
