"Best place to stay if you are training at one of the gyms in Chalong. So peaceful and a gorgeous hotel I looked forward to coming back to every day. Great value for money, I paid €21 a night for a massive deluxe room (low season but not much more expensive in high) and it was way better than expected, extremely clean and generous with toiletries, coffee etc in room. Tv has USB. Nice rooftop pool and small hotel gym. Free coffee and fruit, toaster and microwave area so you could actually make your own food if you wanted. Staff were amazing, so so friendly and helpful I will 100% be back here, nicest stay in Thailand so far. Also booked a taxi and ferry to Koh Phi Phi from reception for 600BHT, so helpful! Thanks for a great stay! "

"Coco Retreat, located in Chalong, is a great play to stay and relax. off the beaten track but still close to beaches and some of the sights. Two pools with beautiful gardens, a mid size gym and dining area which also opens to pool and garden. We enjoyed our breafats and drinks. Plenty of great restaurants, cafes and markets close by as well I think its in the epicenter of gyms in Phuket!"

"This is a great resort to stay along Soi Ta-ied if you are training on the street. It is smack in the middle so it is highly walk-able to both ends. The size of the rooms are big and comfortable. The design is modern. Unfortunately, the internet connection isn't that great with frequent disconnections and there are flies that come out of the pipes which I understand the management is trying to solve those 2 issues. Once those 2 issues are sorted out, this is a great place to stay."

"We had an excellent stay at Anchan and even decided to extend our stay because we so enjoyed it. The hotel is brand new and very comfortable and clean. You can rent a motorbike from the hotel and get to all the southern beaches in 10-20 mins. Anchan is on a road full of Muay Thai training facilities and gyms, so most of the guests are in training, which means it gets quiet at night, but everyone seems to be part of a community. The staff are the best of Anchan. We asked about booking a bus to Ranong, in order to find a beach bungalow there. The staff called at least 5 different places for us and inquired (in Thai) about bungalows...it turns out most were closed for the low season. We are so glad we had their help, instead of just going there and being disappointed. Since our bungalow plan fell through, the staff helped us book alternate accommodation on the beach in Kamala and got us a great rate too. We highly recommend Anchan, but it's a quiet place in a quiet part of Phuket and not directly on the beach."

"The room is fairly basic and rather dated particularly the bathroom facilities. However, it is a good size and has plenty of space for storage and suitcases as well as having a little refrigerator for drinks etc. The garden area is nicely kept and there is a swimming pool in the middle. The pool is rather small and they tend to be a bit obsessive with putting lots of chlorine in but it's still fairly refreshing. The food in the restaurant is really good, average price for the area and they have the best range of protein shake combinations in the area. The hotel is located opposite Dragon Muay Thai, about 5-10 mins walk from Tiger and 10-15 mins walk from Phuket Top Team. "

"AC works fine and room was always cleaned when asked. Beautiful garden and decent pool area. If you are in Phuket for fitness, this is in excellent location for that. The whole street is pretty peaceful because there is mainly gympeople and almost zero nightlife. Only one member of staff could speak english. Pool was sometimes bit opaque. A person who stayed there, got maybe heavy medication or/and mental problems caused issues by breaking window, knocking residents windows and talking about noises what other people do not hear, should be removed there to keep others holiday comfortable and safe."
