"I've stayed at dozens of hotels in Europe and this one stands out as a gem. The location is superb - right in the very center of Bologna. Room was spacious, a wonderful view of the garden below and a small but adequate lift to get you to the 4th floor. Hostess is very knowledgeable and efficient. Breakfast was very adequate. Knowing I was leaving early for a train, the hostess kindly put out breakfast early. Grazie. I chose a room with a bathroom down the hall but there were actually three down the hall that were maintained clean and never all occupied even on the busy weekend. Do not hesitate booking a room here. You'll be back. This was my second time in 8 years at Hotel Panorama and it was just as great. "

"The 051B&B hotel is an exceptional one that offers the visitor a unique experience. From the moment you step inside the hotel, you feel the warmth & generosity of your hosts. Salvatore and his superb team will soon ensure you get a lovely cup of coffee and delicious cakes/cookies that are available 24/7. The rooms are quite large and very clean with a nice desk to work. The bathroom is enormous and so clean and fresh. The hotel itself is therefore excellent, it has a very limited number of rooms and thus you get personal attention all the time. For e.g. advice regarding the sights/restaurants or just a general chat - hence it feels more like visiting family/friends but without them being obtrusive. The perfect balance. The location is fabulous as it is right beneath the two large towers in the Old City. Hence all the sights within the older part of town is on your doorstep. The university about 10 min walk, again perfect! Highly recommended! Faadiel Essop from South Africa."
