Pros: Clean comfortable place to rest 5 minutes walk away from concert venue at Impact. Shuttle around the complex also available every half hour. Nice restaurant. Great staff. Cons: Airport transfer service would have been a welcome plus. No food or restaurants open nearby after midnight. Although when open in the day, the Taste restaurant in the hotel was very good. Buffet breakfast is small but well run. What stood out: Many guests came back after the rock concert feeling hungry but only the bar was open. The reception staff took it upon themselves to fire up the kitchen to make fried rice. I call that above and beyond good service. The same good service attitude was consistent throughout our 3D2N stay. Special mention: Am for sorting out a minor confusion with our booking.

This is the best hotel in this area. The friendliness and professionalism from all of the staff is what makes this five-star experience. I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews, unless a venue stands out above the rest and this place certainly does. Aside from a great location, every thing was above par. Rooms are clean and we'll furnished. The executive lounge and restaurant offer a fantastic breakfast with stunning views of the city. Checking in and out was so easy and fast. We come to this area of Bangkok quite often as my son competes in tennis tournaments at the LTAT which is located about 1km away. We always stay here and will continue to do so. Truly a fine hotel with the friendliness staff I've ever seen. Well spoken English as well. Thank you for making our stays memorable.

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Wanda Grand hotel. Right from the word go the whole stay was a breeze. Special thanks to Anocha at the reception desk. She was extremely helpful and so were her other colleagues as well. Anocha gave me an early check in and also a late check out because of my flight timings. She also took care of my other requests for a higher and quiet room. Thank you so much Anocha! The room was quiet spacious and had all the modern amenties. The breakfast too was great and had a lot of varieties. I would advice other fellow travellers that this area is far from the main town. Though you have the expressway for taxis, the traffic is pretty bad, took me an hour and a half to reach Siam Square. Please book this hotel only if you have work in this part of town. I had a concert to attend at Impact Arena which was 15 minutes from the Hotel, so worked fine for me. But nonetheless will definitely stay here again if I have to come to this area.

We stayed just 2 nights. The room was very large with a large LCD TV unfortunately most of the many programs were only in Thai language. The beds were very very soft and luxurious. The room service was timely but the food was a little basic I feel since I wasn't overwhelmed by quantity or quality. The next day I had a bad case of diarrhea that I blame on the club sandwich that I had the evening before. I notice a few tiny cockroaches, a problem they should deal with immediately. The air conditioner. was either on freezing cold or off - the thermostat didn't work. Just as well the bed was very warm. The staff were all very nice. The mini bar was empty except for 3 small bottles of beer and a can of coke. When I left I was charged for an extra bottle of beer (which I had replenished) so it appears the fridge was under-stocked to begin with. Also I thought I had booked with breakfast included but Agoda firmly informed me that breakfast is never included at this hotel ! Agoda is never wrong!. Hmmm. So the bill was a bit larger than I had planned for. The location made up for any hassles as it is a short walk over to Don Muaeng airport.

My wife and I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for us. It is a rather long and not cheap ride from Suvarnabhumi (BKK).-we always arrange a car from inside for safety and security rather than take a public taxi-but the hotel is quite close to Don Muang (DMK)-though no airport noise. We usually stay a couple of days to unwind from the 30 hr trip before going to our winter home upcountry for about 4 months then another couple of days on the way out. The great attraction for us beyond the comforts of a nice hotel is the huge number of mainly Thai style restaurants (at least 40) in the Zeer shopping center. Excellent roast duck. A sushi bar. A food court and a food center. A supermarket. Bakeries galore. Shopping for any electronic item available in Thailand. Much ordinary quality clothing. All is directed to the local market. Foreigners are not a large part of the customer base though not at all rare. A night market in the parking lot. McDonalds. About 2 km from Future Park one of the largest shopping centers in Thailand. The hotel itself is very quiet. The hustle and bustle of commerce does not intrude on your rest. Several banks and ATMs. Great place for our needs.

The Journey Hotel is one of the best minimalist hotels I have stayed in. This hotel has a business hotel feel to it and is very close to Don Muaeng Airport. It is perfect if you want to catch an early flight from Don Muaeng. The rooms are very very spacious! The price is very affordable and the staff there go out of their way to help you despite their lack of English conversation skills. You should keep in mind that this hotel is close to Don Muaeng. Which implies that it is far from the central Bangkok and all the attractions. It'll be a good 1 hr taxi ride in one direction considering there is no traffic congestion. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there some nice local and European food options at a stone's throw. This is a perfect stopover hotel and I would definitely book it again if I have an early morning flight from Don Muaeng.

We booked a night here, as we were catching an early morning flight from Don Muang Airport. The surrounding area is not at all "touristy", but we enjoyed a couple of beers and a delightful local meal at a small nearby restaurant. The hotel was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were delightful and because the shuttle bus was oversubscribed in the morning, one drove us to the airport in his own car. Great people!

the hotel is in good size grounds set back from main road but not noisy at all. It's not a modern boutique hotel but an older style though the rooms are larger and very clean. There is a large car park in front which unfortunately was full due to a meeting there but there was parking at the rear, if there is a meeting the place is busy, you can't sit in reception and breakfast is busy BUT the staff were very helpful and speak acceptable English, We were upgraded for free to a deluxe room with a fruit platter, gowns, slippers, bath tub, minibar, safe, sofa and chairs and we weren't disturbed from neighbours or the hallway as they have covered the tiles with carpet. We actually had a good night sleep, the bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows and there were black out curtains.The buffet breakfast was pretty good with quite a large choice of foods . There is also a coffee shop and alternative restaurant there. The lift has signs for fitness, massage , sauna and pool, none of which are at the hotel any more. They have been closed since March 2015 and are being relocated to a new area and not expected to be completed for another 2 years ! Internet wasn't the fastest but it was free and worked. Next to the hotel is a small night market selling local foods and a short walk, as well as a 7-11 convenience store and across the road (use the footpath) is a mall called the Avenue which has a mix of foods, Pizza, Korean, Japanese and Sizzler ( steaks, burgers, salad bar).. We were there as we had to visit the Government offices a short 500m walk away so it was very convenient for us. Overall it's a great hotel in a great position but don't be surprised if there is a meeting on, this won't ruin your stay but it's not a quiet hotel.

The hotel is ideal for congress and business meetings. The hotel is clean and tidy, with a staff trying to do the best in serving your needs best possible. The rooms are in very good condition and kept clean and nice. Also an important thing is that the hotel is located near to Don Muang airport which is only 10 min drive away. The stay was very positive, and I can only say that I would book this again if needed.

This hotel is best for staying if u have a connecting flight from DMK or BKK There is a fashion island mall close by which is good for branded shopping stuff if you have some time. Otherwise typical markets and tourist attractions are far from this hotel. This is not a tourist area at all. I didn't find any restaurants with menus in english. Otherwise in Bangkok tourist areas, all restaurants have bi lingual menus.

It's a great location for the airport. Clean modern rooms. Efficient helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. A couple of small bars and restaurants about 500m down the street so you don't have to get a taxi in the evening if you just want to stay local. If you are driving you can securely park your car here for 100bht a night after checking out. A good idea and a lot less stress than having to try to park at DM airport. Taxi only 100bht to airport and 150bht on return leg. I've stayed here twice and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is clean and tidy and very near to Don Mung airport, It is perfect as a 1 night stay as a place to stay before travelling from DMK. The best feature for me, was the car park there. It is covered, very large and locked - very secure. It costs 100 baht a night, first night free as you have booked a room there. The room is OK for one night, clean and functional and costs around 700 baht. The hotel is very hard to find even though it is very close to DMK. There is a free shuttle sevice to DMK, but it only runs at 6am and 7am. Taxi from the hotel to DMK is around 100 baht. I stayed there 1 night and parked for 9 days and the cost for parking was 800 baht. I was very pleased to stay here overnight as we had a very early morning flight to Korea and it meant we did not have to miss a nights sleep with all the extra travelling to DMK, Very relaxing and stress free (well reduced anyway!).

Ebina Hotel is really really near don muang airport that's why a few airport cab drivers seemed hesitate to drive us, so we didn't want to bargain when the taxi counter staff charged us 200baht. From hotel to airport, the very nice lady cab driver used meter and the fare was about 100 baht only. Hotel to Chatuchak market is not too far but the journey back is further due to one-way road and cab driver have to drive pass the hotel on the other side of the road towards airport then u-turn after IT Mall. After passing by two 7-11, ask the driver to turn left into the lane , you will see the tall hotel on the left. The hotel surrounding might look remote at first, but after exploring, in fact it's quite happening. There is a big spa & massage place next door(staff quite friendly), and a restaurant (in residential house setting) which serves very very yummie thailand food, many local customers, we ate there every night-big bone soup, papaya salad, bbq fish, etc. all are really aroi, price reasonable and staff are friendly, miss the food... There is a market right next to the hotel too which opens in the morning till around 1pm, yummie food & lots of stuff to buy. There are also several convenient stores outside the hotel. Staff of Ebina Hotel are very friendly & helpful, especially Ms Chanchao & Kat-sorry if I spell your name wrongly :). Concierge always willing to walk all the way outside the hotel to call for cab for us. The room we stayed is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We like the breakfast too, many variety, fruits, salad, noodle, etc. Will stay in this hotel again.

Booked a double queen room through agoda, arrived late at night to be given a twin room which was much, much smaller. Nothing could be done that night as it was a night receptionist. Next day we queried with both agoda and the hotel reception. Reception made the relevant calls to agoda and cleared up the problem and moved us into the correct room which i had booked. The double queen room was very nice lots of space in the room which we needed as we had three large suitcases. Comfy queen size beds, shower room and toilet also nice. The Room also had a fridge and a safe. Note some of the roads in the area close at 11:30pm so you will need to go via the roads near the university when they are closed. You can hear aeroplanes occaisionally but they weren't really loud enough disturb our sleep.

The room was quite small, but clean and nice decorated. They provided us all of the important facilities (wifi internet, hair dryer, towels, soap, clothes hangers, TV, and 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge). Staffs are nice and helpful. The lobby is so cute (and they also have welcome drink at the lobby). The restaurant, Hidden Backyard, is the next block away. They also provided a free shuttle service to go to Impact Muang Thong Thani in the morning. The only thing I don't really appreciate about this place is just the view. There's a hotel's construction site in the hotel area. But all the other things are great!

This hotel is very new and clean. The room is very good and big. The bed is very comfortable and nice. I love it here. Will come back again. The staff is really really nice. She helped me with everything. They even provided free dessert when I came back from work. Breakfast is very good. They change menu every single day. Especially dessert, it is very varieties. The hotel also has a free bike in case you do not have a car to go out. You will love it here.

Chaeng Wattana traffic is legendary. I often work in the area and like to stay overnight to beat the traffic. You won't find a place with similar rates near Impact Muang Thong Thani that has parking, so I chose this hotel as it is close to 'the back way.' Room was super clean and comfy, neighborhood quiet (if you chase the soi dogs away) and staff friendly and helpful.

I am a frequent traveler and I stay at dozens of hotels each year. We booked this hotel due to it's price and close location to Don Muang Airport as we were flying out early morning. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was and the quaint old city neighborhood it was in. It was a newly renovated couple of row-houses and was very clean and modern. The free WiFi worked great. We walked around the neighborhood at night and there was a bit of a travelers vibe to it with Thai and foreign tourists staying at the many hotels and guest houses in the area so they could be close to the airport. There were plenty of nice restaurants and street food vendors for us to choose from for dinner and we got a great meal about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Walking to the airport in the morning was very easy and took myself, my wife, and my 60+ year old mother-in-law only 10 minutes from the hotel to inside the Don Muang Airport. Very nice and professional staff.

I've been flying domestically to Bangkok for a day/night stay and so far this has been the best place I've found that's walking distance to the airport. bear in mind if you choose to stay at a distance to far to walk to and from the airport you must factor in your travel expenses when reviewing the price of the hotel. the walk is about 10. minutes and its in a nice mini town which has its own charm independent from the mainstream Bangkok. the room aims at comfort and convenience, it doesn't have a soundproof door so some sound does intrude but the hotel is down a Soi so it escapes the more invasive noises of vehicles. the pool is great escape from heat and harsh life of the capital. the lady at the restaurant on the top floor is extremely helpful. I've been trying out a. number of hotels around Don Mueang Airport and after finding this my search is finally over.

My partner and I booked this place for Foo Fighters concert at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2, Bangkok. The place is indeed near/walking distance to the hall. The place has strong aircon and the quality of the room is not bad for the place - the bed and room were clean. The place itself is a neighborhood and it is not the cleanest place we've stayed in Thailand, but we will recommend it because of the great location, room quality, and the helpful staff of SK Muangthongthani Apartment, most especially if you are coming from an event or concert at IMPACT. Below C9 Popular Condominium are many eateries. The location is great for foodies and people on a budget. We especially enjoyed the one just beside their office. The only difficultly we had is that WiFi is not strong in our room in the 15th floor so we cannot connect. We had to go down to their office to use the net.

Not far from the airport ( print out the AGODA map for your taxi driver). Downstairs room was clean, AC worked well, great to be able to access the pool from your terrace area. Pool was clean, staff didn't have a problem with us swimming at 9pm. Only downside was that the bed was rock hard and we had to pay an extra 50 Baht for an extra pillow. The TV didn't work but that was not a problem for us. Noise was not an issue and we slept well. No jug/kettle in the room but you can help yourself to tea/coffee and hot water at any time in the "breakfast area". Breakfast was basic, toast and jam, tea and coffee but sufficed till we got to the airport. They will provide you with free transport to the airport. Nowhere to eat nearby, however the reception staff recommended an enormous mall/shopping centre which was a 50 Baht metered taxi drive away. It has a large supermarket ( where you can also buy wine/spirits), western style restaurants and a massive food hall where there is an abundance of local foods. If you need extra bottled water or a beer there is a stocked fridge at reception and the prices are reasonable. No in room safe. Would definitely stay here again for a short Bangkok stop-over.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is about 5-minute walk to the nearest MRT station (Nonthaburi civic center). Some of the walkway is not flat, making the walk difficult when we have a big luggage to walk with. The staff are friendly and helpful although their English is not very good. The room is spacious and clean, equipped with a refrigerator, TV and solar-heated water. A Big-C supermarket is located 10-minute walk. You can go there on foot or take MRT to the Bang Krasor station (only one stop from the Nonthaburi civic center) to buy some useful things (foods, clothes, drinks,...). There is also a food park and several shops in the Big-C building. Very close to the hotel is a 7-11 convenience store where you can buy some food, drinks and daily commodities. In summary, this hotel is a good place to stay with very attractive prices, but it is far from the city center. We can reach it by MRT, which is a good point.

Arrived late to the hotel as our taxi driver and many others couldn't seam to find it, although the big sign at the entrance to the road the hotel was in was a big give away!!! Hotel and surroundings were very clean and in a good location to shops and restaurants. Staff checked us in very quickly and showed us to our room which was great and again very clean and modern. Didn't have time for breakfast as we were leaving for the airport at 6am but the hotel kindly made us two pack lunches which comprised of sandwiches and fruit and water. Great location for anyone needing a hotel close to Don Muang Airport or a short taxi ride to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
