" A rather large hotel and my second stay here in four months. Located conveniently on Nathan Road right above the Jordan MTR station. Also near the bus shuttle stop to Kowloon station for the Airport Express Train and the A21 Bus to the airport. Temple Street night market was a mere seven minute walk. The rooms were spacious by Hong Kong standard and relatively inexpensive depending on the time of year. A great deal if it's below $100 USD, but much more expensive during high season. So book in advance to lock in cheaper rate. Bathroom appeared to have been recently updated, but the furniture seem a bit dated but not a big deal. Comfortable, not hard bed. Free adequate wifi in my ninth floor room. Very busy lobby with people checking in and out, but was handled quickly and efficiently. Be prepared to surrender 500 HKD for room deposit either by credit card or cash. What I found that was a real nice touch was the free cell phone which allowed me to call the USA for free as well as making free local calls. Great for goggle map around HKG, and search. Also allowed me to access my email and provided me with a local HKG number of the phone. No need to purchase a HKG sim card. Did not use the swimming pool or ate at the hotel restaurant. Numerous restaurants within minutes from hotel, including a McDonalds a block away. Overall had a nice stay, but don't expect a five star hotel at these prices, the location is the best selling point of the Prudential Hotel. Bell person on the ground floor kept my luggage after my noon check out, and went out for lunch for a few hours. Came back to retrieve my bags, and he came to immediate attention when I pulled out a tip to help me take it to the sidewalk. Guess they're not used to being tipped."
