I have travelled quite a bit and have stayed at all types of hotels in my lifetime, but I have never seen a hotel like this one. It is beautiful, its in the city but as soon as you walk in everything outside those doors disappears. I really could see myself staying in the hotel and not venturing out at all! Everything seems so unique and blends well with the Nepalese c...
An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle Kathmandu, great atmosphere, great decor. 3 great restaurants in the adjustment garden/Art Gallery. And we are also very glad to rediscover the great art of hotel concierge that's lost in a lot of 5 star hotels, in Baber Mahal Vilas Kathmandu. A superb experience. Thank you so much.
This hotel is very nice.. If you are looking for a budget yet accessible hotel, then i would really recommend regal hotel. Its just 10minute walk from the airport. Very accessible.. Kathmandu city is very traffic so if you will stay here there will be mo hassle free for your flight. They will even offer a free shuttle service from hotel to airport. Lastly staff are ver...
This hotel sits comfortably between a hostel experience and a luxury hotel. It is not a vacation hotel with spas, gourmet dining, plush beds and immaculate surroundings. Its best quality is its location. No taxi required from the airport. You simply walk through the parking lot, down the street and through the airport front gate and it is right across the street. By Ne...
I stayed there one night to catch the early flight next morning. They picked me up from airport and prepared a lunch box for me due to early flight and missing breakfast at hotel. Indeed the food helped me because, the flight to Pokhara was delayed and I had to start my trekking straight way from arrival there. So I enjoyed the food in the taxi. It saved my time for t...
Newly built hotel quality rooms, with LCD TV, good beds, clean bathrooms, hot water (takes a little while to come), courtyard with fountain. Restaurant is not heated. Close to airport so very convenient for travellers. We just had st stay 1 night on our way to Pokhara and this was a very good place will stay again for sure. Staff very helpful and friendly.
I was really excited come back to home from Dubai for vacation , when ending of December 2018, I was just counting the days to start my holiday , and problem is to find the best hotel and service in Kathmandu nearby airport to take a rest and reduce stress as soon as possible for that I click on google , found out The Amadablam hotel with a reasonable room rate for de...
The hotel was very good, very close to the airport with free of pick up service. The staff are very nice and friendly!!! Breakfast was delicious!!! Hope to stay here again when I visit Nepal!
I travel to Kathmandu fairly frequently and often stay at this hotel. The gardens that surround the hotel are beautiful. The hotel also sits off far enough from the busy streets to provide a quiet atmosphere. There are plenty of street restaurants, fruit stand and small shops within walking distance. I like the location.
Its a good hotel with reasonable price...not far from city center..Its a new hotel but it needs to improve a lot on the services.
Very nice location nearer to airport, friendly staff, good breakfast ,it’s only vegetarian breakfast though. But in my 6 days stay I faced lots of stained discolored bed sheets and towels .. after calling the room service thy changed with another washed old sheets n old washed discolored towels. The top floor restaurant is a cool and excellent place to sit and view ...
I booked the hotel and asked for airport pick up. As I landed I didn’t find any person to pick me up then I rang hotel couple of time but no one answered. Then I went straight to hotel but the guy over there knew nothing about the booking, he was not welcoming then I Asked him about the hotel manager so that I can speak about my booking but he wasn’t there so I left t...
I have wanted to stay at this boutique hotel for a while, however I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. The rooms are exactly as the photos look, beautifully appointed and huge. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in Nepal. The staff were quite pleasant and certainly helpful. However given that the rooms are directly beside a busy...
Tangalwood was recommended by colleagues who had stayed in other Kathmandu hotels. Check-in and check-out were easy. The facilities surround a courtyard which is off of a small quiet street (marked by a well-known shrine -- good for taxi drivers). The hotel has a small number of rooms and serviced apartments. My room was large and well appointed. The bar/restaurant is...
Good Budget Hotel in Kathmandu. Recomemnded!
Good if you need to be close to the airport which is round 10 mins by walk.
Lovely clean room, excellent breakfast and dinner, very helpful competent and pleasant staff. The staff is so helpful that I am sure they could arrange a driver to take u to all the major sites in Kathmandu...and they r scattered all over. It is not in a good souvenir shopping area but very quiet and the people in the nearby village r very friendly. We wanted to be cl...
Pros:- Close to airport Kind and helpful staff Cons:- Even the location is near to hotel it’s not easy to locate the property. The taxi driver took more than 1 hour to find the hotel when it’s only 15mins away from the airport. The staff were kind to return my jacket upon my arrival from Pokhara.
Ok for a night if waiting for a flight but noisy AF .
We only stayed overnight and moved to that hotel because it was the nearest one to the Kathmandu airport
Being an Indian, I am writing this review for all Indians that I found it very difficult to adjust according to the Japanese culture and style of living which this hotel offers. The food served was all Japanese which did not even get down of my throat. The doors had no lock n key as in Japan (I suppose) which kept me awake all night with a fear that someone may barge i...
Last week I had the distinct pleasure of staying the night at this superb hotel for business . Great hotel, Hotel was very clean as well as the room. Staff were so friendly , rooftop restaurant & foods there was awesome . I will definitely stay here again when visiting kathmandu, and would recommend to others.
This is an amazing hotel. I was really surprised to see such a big hotel and nicely maintained rooms in kathmandu. They have well decorated my room as request which helps to give a surprise for a life time. There rooms are really double in size than any other rooms in kathmandu. There are big TVs, big bath tub and really a very enjoyable time there for 2 days. Staff is...
