"Room is spacious with comfortable king sized bed. Our room had a unblocked city view over at Swissotel side with a corner view of the Esplanade. Would have preferred a bay view room but forgot to request for it at checkin, think the bay view would be partially blocked by the buildings though. Bathroom was spacious and quality furnishings. Loved the fact that it is situated right inside a shopping mall! Easy access to shops and food. Mall links to the underground shopping stretch. We walked along it all the way to CityHall MRT where it is a short walk to the firestation which was opened to public on Sat morning, the kids loved it! Walked across the Helix bridge to MBS and Gardens by the Bay in the evening. Lovely light/water show at MBS at 8pm! Some negative experiences was that the staff we check in with wasn't very friendly, she barely smiled and gave me curt answers to my queries, she also informed me about the free Wifi and gave me some instructions, I tried it but the GUI was not what she described, gave up since I didn't really need Wifi. We had an early checkin at 12pm since we arrived early and about half hour after we went into our room, there was a knock on the door, I went to the door quite promptly but not before it was opened and a male hotel staff came in, he was a bit shocked to see me and said "oh, I was not sure if you had check in" he made a hasty retreat and threw in a "how is your room?" like an afterthought and without eye contact. Our check out experience was more pleasant and the staff much more friendly and helpful."

"We arrived early (12pm) at the hotel and they let us check in right away (supposedly it's 3PM) without additional fee :) Upon arriving into our room, the room itself makes us not to follow our itinerary anymore because it's too comfy & we don't want to go elsewhere. lol Everything is clean and well groomed. The view from our room is the beautiful night lights of the city, singapore flyer and the towers & domes of the garden by the bay. Cool AC, and really comfy bed. The room is equipped of USB slots and the universal electrical port (for phone/ipad/laptop charging) Since on our previous hotel only has the singaporean standand electrical port (3 slots). Location is great! we stayed at the tower 3, and just few walk from its elevator, there is straight tunnel to the marina bay shoppe (casino, lots of shops and 24hrs rasapura hawkers) and to the MRT bayfront station. It's also has a bridge going to the garden by the bay! And from the hotel you can also walk to the helix bridge and singapore flyer. The best part of our stay, of course, is the infinity pool! Which is probably the main attraction of the hotel. lol! You need to bring with you your hotel cards per person upon entering the pool area. Upon check out, they have very efficient and fast 'express check out' counters all over the tower lobby. We left also our luggage upon check out at their luggage counter to do our itinerary then came back before going to the airport. All in all, even if it's expensive. We will definitely come back :D "

"We originally booked to stay in a courtyard room but when we arrived and checked in we realized the room opened onto the bars below and as we were there for 6 nights we asked to be upgraded to a balcony room which was done very efficiently with minimum fuss and additional cost. Our room was very beautiful and the bathroom was particularly stunning. We felt very relaxed and spent a lot of time by the pool, using the health club facilities and reading in the foyer lounges. This is truly one of the most beautiful hotels in the world and so full of character and charm. It is also very centrally located for nightlife and sightseeing (MRT stations very close by). You won't be disappointed."

"Room was excellent. It was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bathtub. Choice of different pillows is a very thoughtful service from the hotel. I would encourage other guest to use it. Location was excellent. Hotel was near Suntec and Marina Square with Millenia Walk right next door. No shortage of places to eat with a supermarket a few minutes away. Despite all that, the hotel seemed like a quiet oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle around it which was something I found appealing. Staff were generally very good. Reception was very thorough and patient in arranging the most suitable room for guest. They do need better crowd control at the reception during peak check in/out timing. Concierge was very efficient and polite. Housekeeping was very good and accommodating to guest request. Breakfast can be at different locations. Mine was poolside. Much less crowded than the one at the lobby. Quiet and cozy with a good ratio of staff to guest ratio. Food variety was average but acceptable. Few changes to the food in my two nights there and the dim sum in the bamboo steamers tend to be cold. Lobby doors are heavy and manual and unsuitable for pax in wheelchairs. Pricing is competitive with the hotels in the area. Overall a very good hotel worth staying again. "
