"The hotel is fantastic. It took about 40 minutes in a taxi which we booked at the airport and this cost S$60 dollars (roughly £34). We used all the facilities in the hotel which includes the Olympic sized outdoor pool. We ate breakfast in the hotel and that cosy around S$90 dollars (approx. £51). For this we received 3 full English breakfasts, porridge for 1, coffee / tea for 4 and a huge jug of chilled freshly squeezed orange juice, which was amazing. The service in the restaurant was great too. We ate dinner at the buffet restaurant which was lovely. We got a taxi from the hotel to the Orchard Road to do some shopping and this cost around S$21 (approx. £12). The journey took around 20 minutes. It was well worth it as it would have cost us more to have taken the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearest train station. The return taxi was a few dollars cheaper and we picked on us along the Orchard Road at one of the taxi lanes. All in all a great hotel in a lovely location."
