Great stay at the Grand again”

Stayed on the 15th floor in a recently renovated superior room. Good room and love the view from up there across Hua Hin. Staff are just great here and are always helpful. The breakfast is fine and quite an extended choice for Thai breakfast options. AFAIK in low season they dont put bacon out and only semi warm fried eggs. If you want bacon and say an omelette then just ask and they will knock up fresh for you. Great large size swimming pool and always clean. Ample secure parking to the rear of hotel. Okay the hotel is not on the beach but its a 10 minute walk away with access points near the hilton hotel and a small street near to Market village shopping center, the latter being a far nicer part of the beach and more peaceful but you can still find food and drink there too. Also the Night Bazaar is about a 15 to 20 minute walk and there is a market right outside the hotel but closed on Tuesdays when I was there. Yes its an old hotel but they try hard and the staff are just great. For the price you pay via Agoda it is probably the best deal you can get for your money in Hua Hin.

This hotel has everything but a balcony ”

At first I was disappointed that the hotel wasn't in the central "village", but came to realize this location was much better. Easy walk to the beach, the big Hua Hin mall, and a night market literally next door, they advertise free shuttle to the beach, which really isn't necessary. Just cross the main street (carefully) and there are many lanes leading to the beach. There's even a flyover right by the mall. The pool was great, never crowded for whatever reason, and large. The breakfast was good with several selections. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that after two days the Internet stopped working in the rooms and you had to sit in the lobby to access it. We'll definitely stay there again.!

SECOND VISIT JUST AS GOOD”

My sister & I stayed here for 3 weeks to 14/2/20. We really liked the hotel last year & it's great value for money so we had no hesitation in returning. We also met up with quite a few other repeat guests. We really like the location of the hotel & it's got a really big pool with lots of sun beds (not always the case with hotels in Hua Hin). The bathrooms could do with updating but our room was kept spotlessly clean & the staff are always very friendly. We hope to return there in 2021.

Good deal for Hua Hin”

At @1500 Baht per night this hotel is probably the best deal you can find in Hua Hin. Okay, not on the beach but within easy walking distance to all there is ... 10 minutes to main part of town and beach and 15 minutes to Night Bazaar. Got a lovely room on the 13th floor, just been renovated so very nice indeed. Staff are just great here and always helpful. I'm a regular to this hotel and always get treated very well. The breakfast is a buffet affair and varies in quantity from low to high season. If you happen to go in the low and want an omelette and bacon then don't be afraid to ask ..they seem to hold these back from the buffet in low season but have no problem in accomodating you personally. This was about the 20th visit in 12 years ...I'll be back and thanks to the Grand for always making my stay a pleasant one.

The hotel is very clean and the staff can speak English too, there is lot of retirees staying in the hotel, there is 711 around the corner, the night market (more of local style) just opposite the hotel, the food is cheap and nice, I will choose this hotel, if I planned to Hua Hin again

Back to the Grand again”

I have stopped at the Grand many many times now. It could be a whole lot better but still represents value for money. Coffee/tea making facilities in all rooms would be most welcome. An egg station for fresh eggs or omelettes would improve the breakfasts. Replacing some of the beds so a double room does not have two single beds pushed together would make couples happier. Some of the mattresses are in need of replacement.I had to ask for the wifi password but wasted my time as it was so slow I could not connect. This time I was lucky and got air con that worked. This hotel has the potential to be so much better, but if it was I am sure the prices would escalate rapidly and it would no longer be my favourite hotel in Hua Hin.

Love the swimming pool”

This hotel situated right beside Hua Hin Grand Night Market. Friendly Staff, Spacious room, however the room itself was dated and the bed was quite hard. Love the swimming pool and the view from my hotel room. Love the breakfast with variety of choices and very tasty. Location is central and easy to get tuk-tuk or taxi to all nearby markets and attractions. I would recommend to my friend and I would come back for another stay.

Great location, spacious, very clean room, large pool”

Very pleased that I selected this hotel. Great location, close to the best beaches in Hua Hin but also convenient for all facilities. Traditionally furnished. Bathroom a little dated but perfectly functional. Would stay here again.

Acceptable for short stay. ”

It is good for 1 or 2 nights if passing through Hua Hin. Not far from all attractions if your prepared to walk 5-10 min. Not on the beach but off the main road. Specifically booked higher floor for lunar eclipse & had perfect view. It is starting to show its age though. Security boxes with reception. Door & door locks to our room not really secure, need improving. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

Great hotel in the heart of Hua Hin”

Perfect place to stay at, for everybody. Everything is nearby to hotel. Like golf, beaches, shopping, massage, Night bazaar, Market etc. etc. If you stay in the top floors you have a great view over Hua Hin. Most of the thing you need are just around the corner. Beauty saloon, Night club, 7/11 etc. etc.

Central location and big rooms”

The Hua Hin Grand has clearly been around a few years: the decor is a bit tired and it’s beginning to show its age. But most things are in decent working order. The rooms are big with plenty of space for an additional bed if required (we did). There’s a worktop, for those addicted to the computer while away from home (I was), a fridge and plenty of storage space. The free wifi can be a bit wobbly but works most of the time. The TV is traditional, rather than flat, and the bathroom fittings are also a bit dated. There is a shower over the bath and the usual bathroom accoutrements are provided. The pool is large and well-maintained with sun beds and umbrellas along both sides. The hotel is just a short shuttle ride from the beach and restaurant district. A tuk-tuk costs just 100 Baht when the shuttle times are not convenient. You can also walk in 10-15 minutes. I chose the hotel because I wanted one right in Hua Hin and not some distance out. The Hua Hin Grand is located just 1km south of the clock tower, which is the central landmark for Hua Hin. The rooms are competitively priced and are good value if you don’t mind the relative lack of charm about the place.

Lovely Hotel with great service”

Good value for very spacious rooms and great service. Located at the center of the city. Walking distance from everything needed. Wifi is free , but it's so slow and unusable sometimes. The best good value choice in Hua Hin

Nice Hotel”

The hotel is good value located in the middle of Hua Hin. The deluxe rooms are great, while the superior is basic. The room is spacious and clean. Windows needs screens to avoid insects at night. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The hotel provide free transportation to the beach.

Convenient hotel for both beach and city access”

Third or fouth time of stays in recent years. Easy for booking in short notice due to plenty of rooms. All rooms are facing ocean view. Air flow thoughout as the corridor is outside which can see a good mountain view. Hua hin beach can be reached by crossing the road and a ten-minute walks, including famous Night market road for shopping some souvenir or delicious seafoods for dining or many Thai tastes to try. Evening market in front of hotel also give a good deal for just anything you may need. Try iced orange juice at the corner shop near by main road, look simple but best ever..

beautiful view from the top level”

This hotel has the best view to see Hua Hin. you can see all of hua hin from the top level. i suggest asking for a higher level to see the view. I don't suggest staying here for beach lover because it's not that close by. but if you want to shop then i suggest staying here. it's conveniently located next to Grand Night Market, and it's about 15 minutes to Hua Hin Night Market. They have a big pool and the room is also not bad.

Value for money”

I have been to Hua Hin many times but never stayed at this place. Very pleased with our choice, good location with efficient staff and good facilities. Breakfast buffet really good although finding a table some mornings was a problem Overall worth a visit

Nice hotel”

An older hotel in need of some maintenance in places, but the room was comfortable enough. Located in a quiet area of Hua Hin and far enough from the main road to be out of the busy traffic.

Great Location”

Hua-Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza very close to Hua Hin City Center. Simply furnished guestrooms but we enjoyed spectacular seaviews.
