I City hotels & places to stay

when i checked in on last saturday, there was only one staff working! she is the only receptionist, she did the housekeeping, she did everything by herself. and there are 3 famil8es arrived earlier before 2pm. unfortunately, we have to wait till 2pm untill we are able to check in. because she has to ready the rooms for us all. it was a pity for her and long waiting time for us. my room was cleaned, the toilet was clean, the bedsheets are clean and the pillows are soft. the tap water is very low. the water hardly comes out.. overall, it was ok. if only the running water was fast, then it will be perfect. thank you.

This is budget hotel so just do not expect full services like in 4 or 5 star hotels. Very basic accomodation. Recommend this hotel if stay just for a sleep be it transit or business trip. Pros: 1.Front desk operator so helpfull. 2.The location is very convenient (Near to boutique/textile shop, UiTM, I-City) 3.Food court just opposite hotel. 4.Wi-Fi is free with excellent signal. Cons: 1.Room too small (standard room). No space for prayer. 2.No label for soap & shampoo inside the toilet. 3.Limited hanging cloth. 4.Just a kettle and cup/glass.No mineral water, and other complimentary for room. 5.No parking space. Need to paid a parking coupon on weekday. Weekend is not a good time to stay here. Even at night, the parking is full house. 6.No lift. 7.Really noisy at the coridor. Clearly hearing footstep and people talking loudly. Overall the hotel was quite a value considering the price and location.

I booked standard queen size room. But since im with friend so i decided to change to double single bed. I wrote there what i want. Extra towel and iron. But receptionist not even read it. He gave us a room that the door was broken. Pintu susah nk bukak we need to push harder to open it. Plus no extra key at the door selak kat pintu pun rosak. We locked just using tombol pintu and chair to hold the door since it quite dangerous, coz it easy for people to break in to our room. Plus pintu bilik air pun same.. Selak patah. X boleh kunci. I used baldi utk tahan pintu dari terbuka. I know it just a bujet hotel. But can u pls make sure ur room in good condition before u give it to the guest. Don't simply give unproper room to ur guest. Since we also pay for ur service.. Pls fix the door at room 212.. Thank you.

I spent more than 40 mimutes circling in the same area for this hotel. Please make it clear that Zen rooms is inside M Avenue hotel. I arrive late at night after a long journey hoping to get a rest. The taxi driver could find this hotel so he had to drop me off. The sign only show Zen room next to M avenue but the doors are all sealed i ended up having a late check in. It is not the staff fault but who ever is promoting this on agoda needs to make it very clear where the exact location is. Overall it is in a good area, staff are nice and friendly. But also need to ugrade room cleaness. Bedsheet had red blood stain on it.

my home hotel shah alam is a budget hotel with small room. it located near the i-city, is about 15 mins by driving to there. nearby also has restaurant like malay mamak stall and old town. even though the room is small but is furnish with the neccessary facilities like hot shower water, lcd tv, hanger, and water dispenser at each floor. but there is no lift available there.

The artistic design throughout the hotel gave me a pleasant surprise as many pricey hotels do not have such decor. The room size was bigger than I first thought for such price. The room is clean and comfortable and it has a large window. It is definitely one of the best value for money kind of hotel that I have stayed before this. It's location is near to the i-city and UiTM campus, so it is easy to locate with the help of a GPS. There are many eateries and restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However there is one draw-back in that the breakfast voucher given by the hotel to the kopitiam next-door has fixed menu and costomers were not given free choice to choose even though one is willing to top-up on the food ordered. Hope there is improvement on that. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay near the i-city

Arrive at this hotel about 11 am, we're planning to commend our bags to receptionist, but she allowed us to check in. Very nice. This hotel about 7 minutes to Stesen Padang Jawa with car, and about 5 minutes to i-City driving. The breakfast that we got is bread with toaster ready, boiled egg and coffe or tea. There are few restaurant around this hotel to make sure that we will get the dinner. The minus, there are more than 10 mosquitos in our room that I must kill before go sleep. Will come here again if I must stay around i-City.

There's cockroach in the room, in which it crawls all over my body before i managed to kill it. There's ant everywhere. If you bring food into the room, it will be swarmed by ants in just seconds. I also had been attack by a bed bug, and can't stop scratching myself. The toilet is a disappointment. There are still-water in the toilet, it didn't go out the drainage system properly, hence, producing some foul odor. Other than that, it's an OK room.

A bit disappointed with location. Well I knew I-CITY is within SEKSYEN 7, Shah Alam. BUT how do I know Hotel De Art has TWO location?! One at i-city, another one at jalan kristal seksyen 7. But seriously two locations/outlets at one area (which is seksyen 7)? If people from local area might know this, but how about people from other states? Why am I so stressing about the location? Because the one at Seksyen 7 is far more comfortable, surrounded by market and restaurants. BUT the one at i-city got nothing. You have to drive out to find food. SO, if I know the room that I booked was at i-city (which is no stores out there for my mom to go while waiting for my meeting), I would definitely not booking the room. Agoda/hotel team should try to improve some ways to avoid confusion. When I search the hotel, it suggested the one at seksyen 7. But still, confusion also arise because i-city also in seksyen 7 (by address) Overall, I like Hotel De Art! I love the concept. Staff are nice!

Me and my friends were having great time there, location wise is the best which is next to highway and air-bridge to Central I-City Mall. Sadly don't have the chance to enjoy the swimming pool but surely to return again. The park was creatively landscaped with themes. Clean house, clean rooms. Staff were helpful by telling me the exact place to park my car for easy access to our apartment eventho the car park area is quite confusing, you need to be careful tho.

The owner must be one of the most accommodating owner in Agoda. Quick to respond in all my queries, gave me tips on where to visit, and went beyond by allowing us to leave our luggages much earlier than the allowed check in time and sent someone right on time when we needed to check out early to catch our flight. Everything was a breeze because of this. The unit is clean and complete with the things you need to really feel at home and very near i-City. I will really recommend the place to anyone who will visit Shah Alam.

Those who wants to spend time at i-city park is highly recommended to stay at this property. The entrance is just few steps away from the red carpet attraction. The security is really good as u need your pass card to enter the lift lobby also to use the lift. We stayed at studio suite for 8 people & the room still spacious! The room is clean & the rate is reasonable. KK mart and restaurants just nearby the property. The best thing is the staff Mr. Shafiq always ready to help & make sure you get comfort to stay at the room. He guided from check in to the room until your check out. My family & I had a great time & worth our vacation at i-city 👍🏻

Our 2 nights stay at Best Western i-City Shah Alam were pleasant and enjoyable. Time was well spent. Overall, my family and I had a great time. Im addition, we were also welcomed with wonderful service by the wonderful team from Best Western i-City Shah Alam. My first compliment goes to Jessica(Asst Front Office Manager and Shahril(staff from restaurant at 5th story). Both of them were warm, pleasant and ready with a smile, efficient and proactive. The excellent service they have provided on my first visit at Best Western i city was even better than I expected. Employees like Jessica and Sharil are role models to be emulated by others in the hotel service industry in whole of Malaysia. Well done Jessica and Shahril! For our second day in Best Western I city hotel, our morning breakfast at the Viewcafe at 5th level started with a warm and friendly greeting by Restaurant Captain Mr LECHU. M. He was forthcoming in ensuring the food and beverages were to our satisfaction. Not only he was proactive, he took the initiatives to ensure the breakfast for the whole family was enjoyable. Kudos also to waitress Hidayah for readily taking our orders and serving us well. Such qualities in a hotel service staffs is expected for all hotel service staffs to emulate and learn from. Thank you very much. We do hope in future that Best Western I City Shah Alam can consider upgrading from a 3 Star to a 4 Star hotel. Please give a serious consideration. Rest assured that I will return to this hotel for our next holiday and recommend my relatives and friends to choose as their preferred hotel accommodation in Shah Alam. Many thanks. My family was happy when staying here. The pool is suitable for small children and adults as well. This facility is enough to accommodate small and medium sized families. The famous I-City is just a short walk away. The missing part is a map of directions or arrow at Ground Floor to show the path to the I-City park. The service that needs to be fixed is to provide internet wifi and cable tv service (now only using extenal antennas whose reception is not so obvious).
