The hotel was so convenient for me as it was located next to the EXPO centre where I attended a motor show there. The staff there allowed early check-in as there were available rooms.

The hotel is too over-priced for very basic service and quality. We booked 2 rooms, 1 room aircon spoiled, 2nd room the water tap was not working. Breakfast is super basic and facilities are limited. For the price of >120/night, you can easily find better hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Only pros is staffs are nice and it is near to SECC, but far from everything else.

Risk of unexpected debit to credit card No matter your booking is pay at hotel upon check in but you're credit card will be charged and refunds after guest checked in, but sure the charges world not debited from credit card if payment upon the guest check in, The charges will be debited your credit card on the morning of the check in date but before the check in time, I had booked two rooms and same the charges debited from my credit card before the check in period, However the responses from hotel is due to the peak season, Meaning the charges would not debited from credit card is slack season???

I was traveled as business trip at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and participated the Saigon Autotech event at S.E.C.C convention hall which very nearby the Ibis hotel. It's take about 5 minutes by walk and cross to the S.E.C.C. from Ibis hotel Saigon. Overall for this Ibis hotel Saigon in term of location, cleanliness, staff, value of money, and facilities is great. However, for the breakfast meal which is provided by Ibis hotel Saigon, I think it's expensive and cost about $12 USD per person.

Good location in district 7, the new area of city, close to SEEC, 1 min. by foot, and there are many international company nearby, like 3M, Manulife, Unilever, and etc. And there are also so many big shopping mall and supermarket nearby, like Parkson and so on. Also you can easily find many good restaurant and cafe here. The restaurant of the hotel is also very good, just price is a little high. Hotel is very new, and Room is standard Ibis room, comfortable and clean, staff are very kindly and helpful, and speak English, someone can speak Chinese. However, it's a wonderful experience stay in here.

Ibis is a good place to stay for those who are a little tight on the budget but still willing to stretch themselves for comfort. They have all the BASIC necessities you require in a hotel, including a bottle of dual-purpose soap and shampoo, towels, robes. The area itself, District 7, is a bit far from the city proper. You have to take a cab or ride a bus to Ben Tahn market and such, but it has a good character on its own. Though it's far from the cultural parts of Ho Chi Minh, the area is walking distance from upscale malls. it's a very safe neighbourhood, and there's a grocery store, Family Mart, and Sushi Bar on the ground floor.
