I stayed in a Superior 1 Bedroom Suite with my husband and 4-year-old son. I have been visiting Thailand for 22 years, including for work, and have stayed in various hotels ranging from cheap ones like Twin Towers and Bangkok Center to mid-range ones like Holiday Inn, and high-end ones like Banyan Tree and Sheraton Grande. Therefore, my following impressions are based on the evaluation of service (cost performance) in relation to the price. [Pros] - The room is spacious at 58 square meters and stylishly designed, and kept clean and comfortable. - The large refrigerator (with a freezer) was great. Although we didn't use it, there was also an IH stove, a microwave, and basic dishes. - The large L-shaped sofa was comfortable with good cushions. - Both my husband and I work on our PCs at night, so having two tables (one for dining and one for work) was good. - The staff were all very friendly and hospitable. - Considering the price, the breakfast was sufficient. - The room cleaning was also excellent. They even brought a laundry hanger to hang my T-shirts that I had hung on the washing line and put them back in the closet for me (pillow tips cost 100 baht). Of course, the room was cleaned thoroughly every time. [Cons] I couldn't find any major cons, but as a cautionary note, the height of the king-sized bed is quite high. My 4-year-old son fell off the bed while sleeping due to his restless sleeping habits, and it was dangerous because of the height. Also, there was no conditioner in the amenities. Also, the Japanese staff mentioned in some reviews had recently quit and returned to Japan, so there are currently no Japanese staff. However, everyone speaks English fluently, and their Thai accents are easy to understand. There was also a young Thai woman at the front desk who spoke a little Japanese (although I didn't test how much she could speak). As far as the clientele goes, based on the breakfast area and lobby, it was about 30% Japanese, 30% Western, 20% Chinese, and 20% other. It was not noisy at all. [Location] It is a 3-minute walk to both the subway and BTS stations, with a Seven Eleven right next door and a Max Value Supermarket also nearby. There is an excellent Italian restaurant next door that serves meat dishes. For about 9,000 yen, we had pasta, pizza, meat dishes, salad, and three drinks. Terminal 21 is a 3-minute walk away, where the famous Savoey Seafood is located. Unlike Somboon, you need to order a whole crab, which costs about 7,000 yen, so be careful (they explain it to you beforehand). We had fried chicken, crab fried rice, rice, and five drinks for 12,000 yen. We also went to a revolving sushi restaurant at Terminal 21. We had 14 plates of sushi, chawanmushi, and two bowls of miso soup for 5,500 yen. The Japanese-owned "Happiness Massage," which is featured in Thai travel magazines, is about an 8-minute walk away. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and the massage is quite good. It's a bit small, but easy to find as it's on a straight road. I plan to visit Thailand again in six months for work, and my wife (who has visited Thailand three times) and my son (who visited for the first time) both said they want to stay here again, so we plan to stay here again.

Facilities: On the 11th floor lobby, there are restaurants, lounges like Kepa, a swimming pool, and a gym. Although the gym equipment is old, it is still in good condition. The swimming pool is deep, about 1.6 meters, so it may be difficult for children to use, but the satisfaction level increases as you swim. In addition, the business building connected through the first floor operates 24 hours and has convenience facilities such as Starbucks, Japanese restaurants, currency exchange, underground supermarkets, and laundry services. Especially during weekdays, a flea market is held in the shopping mall. They mainly sell street food, and as of 2023, the price is unified at 60 baht, which is cheap and the food is very delicious. 3. Room condition: First of all, the room is spacious. As it is an older building, the room is cool and refreshing. The floor is tiled, so it is clean and comfortable for people with weak respiratory systems. The bedding is a bit old, but only the cover is changed, so there are limitations. The bathroom is spacious and clean. There is also a kitchen with a microwave, so it is convenient to buy food from a convenience store and cook it in a pot. The spacious room also has good soundproofing. Although the TV is small, it is a display type, so it is easy to use when connected with HDMI. 4. Surrounding facilities: It is a 5-minute walk from Asok Station. There are restaurants, massages, and large convenience stores behind Asok Cowboy. Especially thanks to Asok Cowboy, street food stalls are open until dawn even after returning to the hotel at night. Bangkok has delicious street food, especially the chicken skewers. If the price range remains the same, I would like to use this hotel again.

Chose Jasmine City Hotel (1-br superior room) due to proximity to MRT blue line and the accurate photographs of the accommodations. Stayed two weeks in total. Wonderful experience: very quiet; black-out curtains in bedroom & living room; immaculately clean facilities; spacious and commodious unit with small kitchen and modern appliances, including a washer (no dryer in my unit). Housekeeping performed impeccably - room was always cleaned in detailed fashion. Also, I stayed in a smoking room on the 26th floor and the air was even refreshed for me with some sort of deodorizer treatment (couldn't detect a smoke smell after returning to room, post-cleaning). Staff was very polite and exhibited some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The view from the bathroom was particularly amazing - nothing but skyline. Currency exchange done at front desk, but better rates available at one of the forex kiosks around the city. Be sure to check out the pool & hot tub; very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Close to Soi Cowboy, if that is your thing. Restaurants nearby were delicious and prices were average amongst Bangkok tourist enterprise. Ground floor is essentially small mall - restaurants, 24-hr grocery store in basement level, small pharmacy, dry cleaning, martial arts training.....definitely try the ramen at Tonkotsu Kazan on the ground level! Interesting and you'll leave full! Anyway, Jasmine City - definitely recommend, especially for my fellow solo-travelers. Quick Tip: don't buy a bottle opener - there should be one in the kitchen cabinets (I didn't initially check; ended up buying one unnecessarily).

I love the location of this hotel it close to everything there also terminal 21 more. It is awesome. You don’t have to take TBS to go shopping to see some of the Bangkok if you have very little time. The room we were in was for family deluxe. They don’t have the room that had one king bed and one single bed. The shower didn’t function very well. The water pressure was very strong, and it sprayed water everywhere. I don’t know if other rooms were like that. We will be coming back again because of the location and cleanliness

This is a good value for money hotel, rooms are larger than many other hotels in the area and they come with a nice sized fridge as well as a small cooking area with an electric stove and microwave. Giving the room a small apartment type feel to it. I was slightly disappointed because my room did not have the small work desk shown in the photos. Which I needed as this was a working remote test for me. Best to make the request beforehand next time as a brief glimpse of the room across from me had the desk. I had asked someone I met on my previous trip to spend the week with me so I booked for two, when she came by after I had checked in first. The staff did not bother to check her in as well. Not a huge issue but for some people it might be but I had no problems. As some people have mentioned in other reviews the roach thing is an issue. Albeit a small one, I find myself catching one milling about in the bathroom about every other day. But it's not like they are swarming and the rooms are clean. Short of fumigating inside the walls I don't see how much can be done about it. They clean the rooms every day, so it's not like the rooms are dirty but the occasional roach does infiltrate thru some crack in the walls somewhere. Overall I would stay here again, the location can't be beat. Short walk to Terminal 21, magnificent Argentinian steak house close by right next door to the mall, nightlife very near by if that is your thing. She caught me peeking one night when she woke up after I popped over to have a few beers :) The convenience of having a 7-Elevan just outside the hotel as well as a 24 hour Japanese mini-mart in the basement of the small mall in the first few floors of the hotel cannot be overstated. In the Thai heat/humidity a short walk to get something quick is a luxury.
