This place has the advantage of comfortable and clean rooms that are directly managed and operated by the host.

Baekyak Oreum and Darangshi Oreum are located about 5 to 10 minutes away from the accommodation.
There are various restaurants and convenience stores nearby, such as Jeong Ho-young's Oh Se-deuk Chef's Restaurant, Black Pork and Lamb, Native Chicken, and Boiled Chicken.
Located midway between Hamdeok, Seongsan, and Seogwipo in Jeju City, it is the best accommodation when traveling to the eastern part of Jeju.
It is surrounded by Hallasan Mountain, oreums, and forests, and the view of the pretty garden and park is also beautiful.

Tourists visiting Jeju tend to be overwhelmingly domestic at this time of writing so maybe what they've got works for them but the whole experience. We chose the location as we wanted an early start up Hallasan and it worked well for us in that aspect. It's an easy 15 minute drive to the Seongpanak Trail entrance from the pension. The pension itself is in the village of Gyorae-ri and there is lots to do within a 15 minute drive, Jeju Stone Park, Gyorae Natural Recreation Forest, Samgumburi Crater and Ecoland to name a few. There is a cafe onsite which sells drinks. pastries and sandwiches On the plus side, the room was as advertised, ie. very spacious, came with a kitchenette, no complaints here. It was also very well kept and clean. In the bathroom there was a full sized toothpaste tube, not the dinky ones you usually get in most hotels. On the other hand, the towels supplied were no bigger than hand towels, absorbent yes but why so tiny? Check-in was a little weird too, you need a Korean mobile number so they can send instructions to you. We didn't have any so when we got there there was no one around but there was a bunch of keys with one of them having a piece of paper with my name on it. Initially we were hesitant to take it without letting anyone know but we later figured out that was what we were probably meant to do anyway if we did have a Korean number where instructions could be sent to us but as we didn't they had to leave a paper with my name on it next to the keys. There was 7 other keys all without names and when we came down later that evening all of them had disappeared which kinda confirmed out hunch. It would really be nice if they contacted us via email to give us the instructions so we would be so lost when we got there especially since they don't seem to have anyone manning the office, in fact, apart from the girl running the cafe we did not see anyone else during out 1 night stay there. So all in all a rather weird experience but as I started out saying most of their traffic is local so it seems to work for them. But if you want to attract the overseas visitors perhaps putting some thought into contacting them via email might go a long way to improving a somewhat mixed experience. But that's just my view.
The most important thing I think about when choosing a place to stay is cleanliness, and Younu Stay was truly the cleanest among the many accommodations I've visited. The bathroom was extremely clean, and the towels and bedding all smelled nice and fresh, which made me feel really good! Just looking at the condition of the accommodation made me feel how thorough and dedicated the owner is in cleaning and managing it. The location is also great, being close to Songdang Fairy Tale Village, Gilgal Farm Land, Forest of Thoughts, Eco Land, etc. It's all near the tourist spots I love in Jeju, making it very convenient to move around! Oh, and the coffee and egg sandwich at the café on the first floor were really delicious! I usually don't revisit places I've stayed at (since there are really many accommodations in Jeju^^), but Younu Stay has truly become a place I want to visit again and again!
This is an affordable accommodation located in a great spot for climbing Hallasan. There is a lounge on the first floor that resembles a café and restaurant, and the interior is beautiful, making it a perfect place for taking Instagram photos. The backyard is also nicely decorated, so it seems good for relaxing and taking pictures. The accommodation was generally clean and had a small kitchen, which was convenient. However, cooking was not allowed, so we couldn't prepare meals. There were minor issues such as the showerhead not being adjustable, the microwave door getting stuck on the furniture, and the reading light being broken, but even considering that the heating took some time, it was a very satisfactory place for the price. I plan to revisit when climbing Hallasan or visiting the surrounding trails. By the way, there seemed to be no staff at the front desk, as it operated autonomously; guests take and return the keys themselves. All the information needed for the stay is sent via text message.
The accommodation is really clean and nice. However, it might be slightly inconvenient if you don't have a car. Even though there is a bus stop nearby, the buses don't run very frequently, so you need to time your travels accordingly. Also, all the surrounding restaurants and stores close early, so there wasn't much to do after 7 PM. Still, the accommodation is truly clean, the atmosphere is very nice, and the owner is really friendly!!! I highly recommend it if you have a car!!!

We loved Yeonu Stay out of all the Jeju hotels we stayed at and we wished we could have stayed for more than 1 night. There was ample free parking space for our rental car. The room was huge, not carpeted and clean. They also have an elevator. They gave us a big bottle of water for our stay and the fridge was also big! They had a complete set for the cutleries, cups and plates, microwave, kettle but I'm not sure about the induction stove and where the pots and pans are. The location is perfect if you're going to the jeolmul forest and the saryeoni forest. The cafe yeonu has a yummy udo peanut latte - must try!! For dinner, there's a dumpling place across the hotel.
