Best Hotel In Jomtien”

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort. Ive stayed in other hotels in the Jomtien area before and this was above and beyond any of them. The location of the Hotel couldn't be better as it gives you easy access to Pattaya, the harbor, and Jomtien. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and very helpful, most spoke decent English and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable with great views of the beach, refrigerator, safe, coffee maker, bottled water, etc.. The breakfast buffet was the best ive ever experienced in Thailand in the 30+ years ive been coming here. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting Pattaya in the future. Enjoyable”

I enjoyed our stay at Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel breakfast was very good and the selection of food was impressive. The pool was beautiful also the access to the beach was convenient. A very enjoyable experience and I would recommend to friends and family as a top choice for a visit to Pattaya.

Excellent location, very well decvorated, and clean spacious rooms / bathrooms. The breakfast was simply awesome !! Room service is very prompt and the menu is very wide-ranging along with being reasonably priced. Staff is very warm, helpful and courteous. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to all and sundry !! Thank you..Jomtien Palm Beach!!

Go again as a family anytime/Great New Years Party”

Local Thai American family. kids, teens and adults last minute scheduling for New Years First off we as a family would return anytime. The con for picky people: Rooms felt dated. General Cons: 2 power sockets not working and everytime you left the room power turns off. Which, defrosts everything you have in the refrigerator. Pros: Everything else. Great Staff, one of the best breakfast buffets in Jometien Pattaya, bowling, the price, the location, ample parking if you drive. super easy walk to the beach (across the street) or jomtien second road (behind the hotel). There is a second small pool on the third floor of the rear wing near massage shop. My only advice is if you have small kids is to get a room in the main wing on the oceanside since this lift is super close to the main pool, beach road, and the breakfast buffet. Again, we had a great time with a great staff.

We really enjoyed staying at Jomtien Palm Beach hotel in Jomtien. Location was perfect. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool is really beautiful, and it's an extra plus that there's a pool bar, where you can get some light snacks, drinks, or a hot meal. Room in upper floors is recommended. Had a beautiful view over the bay of Jomtien. Also nice that they have a bowling alley, where you can challenge your friends and your own bowling skills.

Not a Bad Place”

The Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel is kind of corporate (two large towers right near the beach) but kind of quirky and interesting at the same time. The place has a bowling alley, a hair salon, two pools, a gym, and Internet cafe, etc., yet nobody seems to use these facilities. That could be because I stayed there during low season, and it looked like they had about 5% occupancy at the entire hotel. Don't know. Staff was pretty nice, if bored. Place is very convenient to Jomtien and Southern Pattaya. Nice beaches nearby, and a stocked 7/11 and Thai pharmacy just steps away. What more could you need? A few weird construction/aesthetic features of the hotel will remind you of Stephen King novel, but just ignore them and enjoy your stay.....

Very nice staff and great location ”

The Jomtien Palm Beach is convenient to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. The included breakfast is unbeatable. There were 2 beds in my room, 1 large and 1 small, and both were very uncomfortable. Perhaps it’s time for some new beds. Then this place would be perfect!

Good location”

I liked the position of this hotel, the entrance is at the northen (Pattaya) end of Jomtien Beach Road, access to the beach is excelent. The hotel building is set back from the road within its own grounds and as a result the rooms are quiet and relaxing, the busy nightlife noise is very distant. The swimming pool is large and is well designed to hide the busy beach road veiw but not the sea, its very nice.

This hotel is orientated towards families or couples wanting to be near the hustle and bustle of Walking street and the bar scene but far enough away for a peaceful stay. I am a regular Pattaya visitor and have found the Jomtien Resort and Hotel great value for money. They provide a full range of services for travellers with comfortable rooms in a great location.

As good as ever”

I use this hotel when visiting my brother who lives five minutes walk away and will continue to use it. I have reviewed it before and my earlier positive comments still stand. I will however give two pieces of advice when booking; The price variability is large, checking it on different days can make huge differences. The hotel has two blocks, the rear block is called Jomtien Wing. I would suggest you try for the front wing as both I and family members notice that the decor and quality of room fitments is higher in this. Also, theJomtien wing has sand pedestals next to lifts on all floors for people to stub cigarettes (despite no smoking signs) and curiously, signs in this wing include Chinese whereas in the other wing they don't. The hotel does seem to operate two levels of standards.

Short stay in Jomtien”

This hotel is good value for money and met all the required criteria for a short stay. The staff were always pleasant and helpful but being the only English in the hotel at the time we felt that the food was geared more for the Russian/Chinese and Asian guests. There was a good and free internet connection in the entrance hall, dining room and pool area which was fine. Bar prices were ridiculous but there were plenty of bars and places to eat very close by. We had a side view of the sea from our room and the beach was only a few steps away from the hotel. The Baht buses stopped outside the hotel and it was therefore easy to get into Pattaya or further along the beachat Jomtien.

Hotel located in a good location, first Jomtien beach. very convenience. Opposite to the beach, just cross the road. This time is return and get a good room. Swiming pool close early and never have space. Breakfast is nice. Would lide to return again. Staff are OK. Someone on the dooor, he good service. The over all are great.

Wonderful Location on Jomtien Beach”

We brought our 11 year old here for New Year’s eve - couldn’t be happier with the location on Jomtien Beach - So much more relaxing and family friendly than Pattaya Beach. Hotel had a wonderful view, nice pool and good food. Some parts of hotel are dated but overall great value.

Good Value”

Check-in was easy but note that the guest service/reception in the main wing can communicate english but not the Jomtien wing. There seem to be a lot more China tourists in the Jomtien wing and it is also further from the ocean so that side is louder and busier. The hotel is family friendly with 2 pools and directly across from the ocean. Not as many bars and restaurants as the other areas of Pattaya which makes it less crowded so better if you have younger children travelling with you. We came just to relax and enjoy the sun and ocean so this hotel is perfect for that.

this hotel has a main building in the front and after this is situated the wing building. between the front building and the beach road yuo'll find a nice swimming pool in a tropical garden. we had an large room though we found this more for older couples or business people then for younger tourists. you are near to walking promenade jomtien beach. easy to catch shuttle to pattaya.

1)The room service is quicker than some 5 or 6 star hotels. 2)The hotel is so close to Jomtien beach. The beach is not so crowded as Pattaya. 3)Breakfast is in fair level. 4)The condition of the room and toilet of the old building looks good (better than expectation) and clean. The room is quite big. But it takes time for air conditioner to reach the temperature target. 5)The swimming pool looks new and much bigger than many other 4 & 5 stars hotel. 6)It is somehow worthy of money.

for a deluxe room, i expected it to be bigger. it looked bigger in the pictures. anyway, the two beds, one king size, one full size, were clean and a bit too firm. there was very little room in the shower to put up the soap and shampoo. the water pressure was good. the room (15th floor) has a little view of the jomtien beach. the non-smoking floors are clean and good for families with children. the huge fish tanks in the lobby will be a hit with the kids. the pool seemed nice, but we didn't go. the beach is only across the street from the hotel. the guests at the hotel are mostly europeans, probably russians. you can walk for 15 minutes to the pattaya walking street, going along the beach, but it's easier to take a baht bus.

Beachfront, great breakfast”

It was nice stay at Jomtien Palm hotel. Very near to street foods and beach. Pool was clean in the morning. Room was clean and great buffet breakfast which has almost everything to eat in the morning. Beach was crowded but clean. Only thing is staff was not that friendly. Their english wasn't that bad to compare with others. But they're not smiling. Although we had great weekend there.

Excellent”

The hotel is old but was just fine,staff very friendly the pool and the garden area are good and very clean overall no complaints.The only problem i got was with Jomtien beach area it'self not clean, tourist drinking beer everywhere leaving there litter all over the place not a good impression with a young family
