The location is close to the subway station, and breakfast is a simple coffee and bread. It is one of the spacious budget hotels I have stayed in (the last time was in Laos). If I want to save on accommodation costs on my next trip, this hotel will definitely be one of my choices. However, if I don't mind spending a little more money and want to stay in a better place, I would choose the nearby Tokoyo Inn!

6/6～8の２泊で宿泊。 木曜～なのに少し高いなと思っていましたが、ギリギリにその日が韓国では祝日なのを知り、祝日+金なら妥当だなと 払った値段は、支払い時のレートで16ごえで、後日アゴダコインで千円程(手数料が振込時取られるので、正確な金額分からず)、請求すればかえって来るので、15強かなと 近くの東横インはその日、1万ごえだったので1泊8000円弱のこちらにしました。 シングルの部屋は、部屋によりすごい圧迫感がありそうだったので、少し払ってもツインにしましたが、ベッドが２台あるのは、着替えや買ってきたものを一時的に置くのに便利で良かったです。 まずエレベーターが一基ですがあるので、そこそこ人と遭遇しますが、そんなに待たなくても来るので、普通の階段だけのゲスもハウスより良かったです。 フロントの方も日本語は一切×でしたが、英語と、翻訳機でのりきりました。 (エアコンのリモコンがどうしても分からず、スマホの翻訳片手に聞きに行ったら教えてくれました) 最低限の接触しかしてないので、受付は可もなく付加もなくでしたが、聞いたことはちゃんと教えてくれます。 カードキーもツインなので、二枚頂けて便利でした。 部屋は5Fでしたが、水圧は問題なく、私の部屋は匂いも平気でした。 景色は目の前のビルしか見えず、そのビルも窓が沢山あって、向こうから丸見えになるので、ブラインドはずっと下ろしていました。 空が見えなかったのは少し残念ですが、静かな部屋を希望したので、そこだったのかな、と納得しています。 なので、他の部屋と少し離れていて、話し声やテレビの音は廊下に出れば聞こえるものの、部屋では全く聞こえなかったのですが、部屋の位置的に、大通りのすぐ近くの部屋だったのか、口コミ通り、車の通る音はずっと聞こえてました… そんな大したことないでしょ、と思っていましたが、テレビをつけている時は気になりませんが、消すとしっかり夜中でも聞こえてるので、瞬殺で寝れる人以外は耳栓がいるかも… 私は耳栓か、テレビを小さい音でつけて寝ました。 (部屋の電気が１つしかないので、少し明かりが欲しかったのもあり) 部屋自体は、枕元に韓国のコンセントが4つあり、冷蔵庫の上にも２つ位あったかと思います。 USBや日本のコンセントはありません。 Wi-Fiは超高速で感動。 テレビも問題なく見れます。エアコンも、リモコンとはかなり格闘しましたが、スタッフにどれを押すのか聞いてからは、効きも良く快適でした。 トイレバスも、バスタブはないですが、仕切りはないですが洗い場？は広いし、台が長く囲ってついてるので、韓国あるあるの、どこに着替えやタオルを置けば… という悩みが全くなく、そこは快適でした✨ 備品のシャンプー、トリートメント、ボディソープも、、私の部屋のはケラシスとかではなかったですが、トリートメント後に、これ、いいな、艶々になるな、と どこのなのか見ましたが、よく分からず😂 あとは歯ブラシはないですが、小さな固形石鹸はありました。 安いところはないところが多いので、地味に良かったです。 部屋も一応スーツケースは広げられるし、私は想像よりすごい綺麗な部屋だなと思いました。 清掃やタオル交換なし、トイレの紙も流せないですが、フロント横にタオル、トイレットペーパー、ティッシュ、ごみ交換用のビニールはあります。 各階のロビーに冷温水器、ゴミ箱、つかったタオル入れのカゴ があり、大きなごみは都度そこに捨てれば問題ないかと。 トイレットペーパー流せないのは、家族ならいいですが、知り合いだとお腹壊したら辛いかも… ですが、一階にトイレがあったので(フロント階には見つけられず)、私はチェックアウト後はそこのトイレを利用しました。 冷水器も冷たくて美味しくて、私は滞在中はマイボトルで何度か利用しました。 部屋にはマグはありますが、コーヒースティック等は何もないので注意。 フロントにもありません。 朝食は利用してないですが、朝、フロントの外にはかりが２台あっていつでも使えるようになってるので使いに行ったら、コーヒーのいい香りがしました。 朝、使ったタオルを部屋の外に置きに行こうとしたら、恐らく、掃除等担当の外人さんが、使用済みのタオルの重そうな袋を頑張って運んでいて、目があったらニコッと笑ってくれ、応援したくなりました。 部屋は清掃はないものの、２泊でしたし、カードキーも二枚あったので、室内に１つ差しとけば在室になるので、安心してスーツケースを全開で外出してました。 部屋の冷蔵庫が口コミ通り、かなり小さく、ペットボトル二本と、おそらくヨーグルト３つを縦に並べて一杯かと思います。 冷凍はついてないです。 ドアポケットはありません。 トイレの紙が流せないのと、車の騒音が気になりましたが、私はこの宿は好きでした。 ここ最近、２回連続でよその韓国のホテルで感じの悪いフロントやスタッフに当たったので、今回は快適にすごせて & ロビーや部屋も綺麗で、私はすごい高くならない限り、リピートしようと思います。 チェックアウト後の荷物も、朝食会場(フロントの少し奥)のところに置いとけばいいと言われ、監視カメラの画像まで見せてくれ、カメラがついてるから大丈夫と 他の階のロビーやらも監視カメラに映っていて、フロントで見ていて、安心出来ました。 ちなみに韓国の1万以下の安宿は、薄暗いフロントが多いですが、フロントも明るくて綺麗です😂

The bed and comforter provided a snug haven for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated their flexibility in room cleaning, which occurred every three nights upon request. Additionally, the breakfast service from 8:00 am to 10:00 am was convenient and satisfying, offering a good start to our days of exploration. Location-wise, the hotel was strategically placed with a convenience store nearby and a subway station within walking distance, complete with elevators for easy access with luggage. Moreover, the proximity of the airport bus stop right across the hostel made transportation hassle-free. However, the only drawback was the thin walls, which occasionally allowed noise from other guests to seep through. Nevertheless, our fatigue from a day of exploring South Korea helped us overlook this minor inconvenience, allowing us to focus on a good night's sleep. Overall, our experience was highly satisfactory, and we wouldn't hesitate to book here again on future visits to South Korea.
An exceptional stay”
This is a strategic place for stay if you want to conveniently explore major tourist attractions in Seoul. It is located near to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park subway station where all major subway lines converge (blue, green and brown lines). The staff are friendly and very helpful in assisting the hotel guests' needs, including translating important online information from Korean to English. They are very courteous and have a good command of English. However, the service can be improved in the following areas: 1) Daily breakfasts should be served earlier, perhaps from 7.00 am instead of from 8.00 am since many travellers leave the accommodation early to catch the early intercity (ITX) trains to distant tourist attractions such as Nami Island / Garden of Morning Calm in Gapyeong / Cheongchun. Besides, more options should be provided for breakfast instead of mere bread and jams / cereals and milk / orange juice (perhaps hard boiled eggs will be an excellent addition to the breakfast options). 2)The room cleaning service should be provided more frequently instead of once every four days. All in all, it was an exceptional stay for all of us and I highly recommend this place to other travellers.
Not great but good enough”
6.8 “Small but enough” We stayed here for 8 nights. The room was small but enough for two people. Location is good too. Staffs are fluent in english. Did not have a hard time communicating. Cold & hot water functions well. Cons: Do not have high expectations on the free breakfast, it is basically Bread, butter, strawberry jam, juice, cereal, milk every single day. They do not refill the coffee sticks. Bread toaster is old and malfunctioning at times, bread gets consumed and they do not monitor. You have to asked them before they refill. You can only request room cleaning after 3 nights and up. Bar soaps are only provided on the 1st night and they do not have refill in the counter. Towels, tissue are self service in the counter in the 3F. Kitchen is located in the 3F and all the utensils are there, no separate utensils in the room. If you are a light sleeper, take note that it is sometimes noisy at night as it is near the road. If your room is in 4th or upper floor, you have to go down at 3F to eat every morning. If your room is un 3F, they have a common area in that floor that can get noisy every morning as all guests eat there. Take note that rooms are not sound proof. If you are in a budget, you can try here. But you can find same price in myeongdong area (but most guesthouse there does not have free breakfast) but if you are after the free breakfast and does not mind eating the same thing every single morning, then you can try here. :)
