“Christmas trip with my mother.”
I found this place while looking for a suitable spot for my mom who loves the sea. I booked a remodeled ocean view room and got a good view room on the top floor, the 5th floor. The square window in the room facing the beach displayed a stunning view like a frame, and I marveled at it the whole time. There was a terrace, which was great for ventilation or for enjoying the outside view. Watching the fishing boats at the beach at night was quite enjoyable; it brought back memories of feeling the same when I used to stay at Hyatt! Haha. They provided a free minibar, which even included a large bottle of water. The refrigerator was big, which I really liked; it’s rare to find such a large fridge in a hotel. The freezer was separate, which was also nice. There were no cooking facilities, but each room had a microwave, and the shower and sink were in separate spaces, making it convenient for multiple people to use. Cleaning is provided for stays of 3 nights or more, so for those staying 2 nights or fewer, it would be nice to have some tools for a simple floor cleaning. Since I have some health issues, I always wipe down surfaces with wet wipes as soon as I arrive, and the wet wipes were clean! Oh, I want to praise that. However, the towels were a bit dusty, and there were some hair ties and dust left on the floor from previous guests. In the same context, the trash that was in the elevator the night before was still there the next morning. If that trash was left because someone might have dropped their medication, it would be better to move it to the front desk so they can retrieve it. ^^ They are doing a great job, but these things seem to need improvement. On the first day, there was a strong wind, and it got a bit cool in the early morning, so when I contacted the front desk, they immediately brought a heater and extra blankets, allowing us to sleep comfortably. By the second day, the weather had gotten milder, and it wasn’t cold in the early morning even without the heater. The staff were really kind and responded quickly; I want to give them six stars. Before staying at Kensington Resort Seogwipo, I first stayed for two nights at Ramada Plaza Jeju, and my mom said she preferred the breakfast at Kensington Resort Seogwipo because it was more delicious. I have a different opinion, but I completely agree that the breakfast at Kensington Resort Seogwipo has the best value for money and is tasty. During the trip, I saw a group of elderly gentlemen in their 80s visiting the resort for a social trip, and it was really nice to see. That shows it’s a resort that people trust and come back to, right? On the day of checkout, while packing up, my mom said she wanted to come back to this resort in the summer. It seems she liked it. ^^ The ceiling air conditioning is separate for the living room and bedroom, so it will be really cool in the summer. If I get the chance, I’ll visit again with my mom in the summer. Let’s stay healthy, mom!!! Oh, by the way, it really gets hot when the sun rises! Hahaha. I mean, is this heat for real in winter? Haha, the sunlight is that intense!
