Amazing resort for a quiet and restful stay”
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Thai Style Bungalow for 8 nights. It was a very nice resort and perfect for us as we just wanted somewhere quiet to rest. You should definitely rent a scooter or moped to get around. It will make it much easier and cheaper than taking any taxi nearby. P'Ann was a very nice cheap Thai restaurant that we enjoyed. We shopped at the nearby Supermarket for basic snacks and drinks since we stayed in most of the time. Also really loved ordering delivery from Beyond the Root. restaurant nearby. Pros: - Fast Wifi - Great customer service (waiters are always on standby to help you with breakfast, also room service is super quick) - Very quiet - Nice salt-water pool to swim in - Conveniently located next to road that leads out to the main road, with many cheap massage options - Breakfast has wide variety of selections: there's always bread, juices, bacon, ham, and sasuage, eggs, fruit bar, waffles and pancakes, with a rotation of Thai dishes. Cons: - Moss growing on bricks along walkway, was very slippery when wet. It rained almost everyday we were there, so it was always slippery. However, I saw them using water pressure gun to clean some areas, so maybe it's just we were there during the low season. Walk carefully. - Doors are not extremely secure, so make sure to lock all your valuables or take them with you. - Bathtub outside has very little privacy from neighbors (We didn't use it anyways since it was raining too often)

Quiet but near town”
Beautiful hotel with Thai themes throughout. Stayed in a garden room which was large with big bathroom area and outdoor bath/shower. Rooms were very clean and had the best nights sleep on the extra comfy beds. Directly across from the beach and approx 200m main town. Good variety of foods for breakfast and the bar served great Mojito ! This is a great base in Khao Lak with friendly welcoming staff. If staying here, I recommend hiring a scooter and heading up to White Sand Beach for the day. Definately recommend this hotel if you want good service, beautiful surroundings and everything on your door step without the noise.

Fabulous value and location ”
Great value for a more traditional style hotel. Big rooms with everything you need. Balcony with lounge chairs over looking one of the 2 pools. Towels for in room and pool - all lovely and clean. Bathroom was a big shower with everything you need. Beach location although not a great beach right near hotel. We rented a moped to explore the area. Easy to get taxi. Short stroll to Main Street and shops bars and restaurants. Multiple massage places too. Great bar near by - monkey bar. Recommend Mojos for good quality thai food - and western on the menu. Breakfast was lovely. All very clean and safe.

Oasis of calm”
Not far from the busy activity of the main street, but extremely quiet. The bungalows in the Bhandari Resort are large, and well-equipped, but they feel intimate. The gardens are well-kept and peaceful -- it is very relaxing to walk around. The breakfast restaurant offers many choices. The staff throughout the resort is always happy to help with a smile. Overall, great value for money.

Luxury, Thai style”
I booked 2 nights here when I arrived, just before a liveaboard. My room is spacious and clean; there are 2 pools - one for everyone, and one adults only; the spa offers great massages; and the food has been delicious (both at the snackbar by the pool and at the breakfast, which is included in my room). I will most likely stay here one more night after my liveaboard. Loving it!!!

A lovely resort and Spa (ask for Fon at the Spa)! Pitfalls - only early birds get the poolside sun loungers. While breakfast is fab, dinners are underwhelming (but plenty of great places to eat close by). You will need mosquito repellant.

I pinched a nerve just before we arrived and ended up in bed for three days. My wife although said everything was great. The staff was also accommodating to my needs and let her bring buffet to the room and helped where they could since I couldn't walk

Exceptional”
This place is amazing. We wull defenitely come again. It is close to the beach and has such a beautiful homy feeling to it. The staff is graet, the breakfast amazing and the rooms are clean, stylish and have everything you need. The balcony could be a bit bigger. We loved the pool and the garden.

Not a concrete jungle ”
A bit more of a thai style room. We don't go to Thailand to stay in a multistory western style building that we can get at home, so we loved this place. Beautiful gardens, good size pool with easy access, large rooms, good Aircon, wifi and breakfast. Staff lovely. Great walks along beach. Plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes. We will be back next year

Very nice, big, clean rooms with perfec AC in a beautiful environment with a tropcal garden. Full of frangipani and lotus-flowers. Nice breakfast buffet with a lot of delicious stuff. Very friendly staff.

Stayed over new year for 10 nights had an amazing time . The staff were so friendly and most helpful with all the complications with Pcr’s etc . The actual hotel looks like a traditional Thai village with the most beautiful plants growing everywhere with a lovely pool/jacuzzi our room was a great size with everything we needed for our stay can’t praise the hotel enough so peaceful !

Amazing resort!”
We loved our stay at Khao Lak Bhandari. We felt the property was more like 5 stars (but not in a pretentious way) and therefore incredible value. The pools are great with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas and the garden setting was tranquil with buildings in the traditional style. The Thai Bungalows are highly recommended! They serve a great breakfast that changes each day and the dinner restaurant serves tasty food at reasonable prices. The main town with restaurants, ATMs etc is a 5 minute paved walk away. The only fault is that the beach directly across the road isn't particularly nice, however if you walk 10 minutes to the right you will come across sheltered bays with golden sand and clear water.

Stayed here April 2021 while general tourism still very slow due to COVID. Really enjoyed the Thai-style architecture of the buildings & grounds - very peaceful & tranquil feeling. Room was very spacious & clean, bed comfortable. We were really impressed with the dinner served at the main restaurant. Even though business was very slow, the menu had a wide selection available and the Thai dishes were very delicious and fresh - well done kitchen staff!

Clean accommodation with excellent service”
Clean and worth the price. The resort has a beautiful and fresh atmosphere with lots of trees, ponds, and clean swimming pools, including a small children's pool. However, the spa was not available, and the steam room was out of order. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, but the food line was a bit short, and the fried eggs had a long queue because they were made to order. Overall, it was good, but there are some areas for improvement.

we stayed with 11 month baby in khaolak bhandari resort & spa for two weeks. we did enjoy a lot to stay here. the stuff was very friendly to us, especially to our little girl. we stayed with 11 month baby in khaolak bhandari resort & spa for two weeks. we did enjoy a lot to stay here. the stuff was very friendly to us, especially to our little girl. it is service-minded hotel. if something needed to be fixed in your room, they will react immediately. also baby cots are available with mosquito net. we asked reception to change a room with a view to the mountains and they directly gave us really nice one. breakfast was super delicious with a big variety of food (from american to thai food). fresh fruits everyday! hotel doesn't have private beach but it takes around 1 min to walk to public beach. you can always ask reception for beach chairs, stuff will help you to carry down. another good thing about this hotel, that has besides "sister" hotel oriental with another big swimming pool. it is ok to use both pools even you stay in bhandari. to get to the main street takes around 7-10 min. but you can always ask for a lift at the reception, it's free of charge. we are thankful to this hotel for making our holidays special! we would definitely recommend to everyone, couples or families with small children!

Lovely Hotel with nice stuff and good location”
i went from phuket airport to khaolak bhandari resort & spa for spending a night before heading next to khao sok national park. the staff in the hotel welcomed me very friendly and the complex is in a gorgeous shape. in the breakfast buffet you will find everything from european/us food (toast, pancake, crepe, sausage, egg) up to local thai food. the rooms are quite big and from the hotel it takes about 1 minute to the beach (direct beach access). furthermore it's not located in the main area of khalo lak for which reason it's a really quite and relaxing place. as a result i will for sure come back again.....

Great hotel, great holiday”
We had a wonderful time at the Khaolak Bhandari Resort & Spa from the greeting with a cool towel and grape juice through our departure with a courtesy ride from the hotel to the bus stop. In fact, after our first night we decided to extend our stay. While we could hear other guests from our room, it was not distracting and the room was great. Our only issue was that we could never figure out how to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The pool was great, the grounds lovely and the staff courteous. Plus, the beach across the road was a lovely sunset beach and it was a quick walk to the town supermarket.

Great stopover”
Went to Khaolak Bhandari Resort & Spa for an overnight from Phuket, so it happened that I arrived quite early, and could enjoy swimming on the beach, and in the pool as well, which was just great. I cannot comment on the food, as we just had breakfast in the resort, but this was quite good, especially compared to what you can get in some other places. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around, especially on the main street. However, more than five years after the Tsunami, Khaolak still resembles a ghost town. This means you have the place more or less for you alone, in new unworn facilities.

Excellent hotel, helpful service”
We actually did not stay at the Bhandari on the above dates. Though we had booked on Agoda, the hotel did not have any available rooms. They accomodated us at their sister hotel, the Khaolak Oriental, which shares the same grounds. The hotel staff was very accomodating, gave us an upgraded room, as well as complimentary massages and dinner. The 2 hotels have the same breakfast and poolside cafe menus. The food is excellent. The spa, located on the Bhandari side, is excellent, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. The services are wonderful and highly recommended. We did stay at the Bhandari 2 nights the following week. The hotel grounds are stunning and well-maintained. The room we had was lovely and large, with an enormous bathroom that included a large soaking tub and separate shower. We will absolutely stay there again.
