Greatest service ever”
This is my second time in this great hotel. You would never go wrong by staying in this hotel. Here is why: Rooms: We stayed in the premier valley pool villa. The villa is spacious and well designed. The pool is fairly large and there are two sitting areas near the pool. The view is magnificent and you feel as you staying in the middle of a rain forest. Food: food is reasonably good and in room dining is available twenty-four hours. They serve traditional Balinese food in addition to pastas and pizzas. Breakfast is a la carte and you can have it in your room if you prefer to do so. Service: While Bali is well known for its great hospitality, staff in this hotel always go the extra mile to accommodate their guests. They memorize the names of their guests and every one would greet you by your first name. Whatever you need, just ask and they will try their best to accommodate you. Location: the hotel is located in a quite area in ubud. You need a car to go to Ubud center or other places. The hotel provides free shuttle every two hours that takes you to and back from the Ubud center. In Ubud centers you will find plenty of restaurants that cater to various tastes: Balinese, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean etc. The hotel will arrange activities, tours and transportation for you if you need. Prices are always reasonable.

Most amazing place to stay in Ubud ”
We had the most amazing stay at Kaamala, the staff were to lovely, friendly and caring I actually cried when we had to check out after staying at Kaamala for over one week because I was so sad to leave. I had my birthday there during our stay and the staff went out of their way to make it a special day even bringing me birthday cake and singing happy birthday to me. The villa itself was just stunning and the facilities at the resort were incredible. We are already planning our next trip back to Kaamala. Special thanks to Lia from the front desk who always went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and our room was always perfect!

Beautiful and tranquil!”
Quite simply the best resort to stay in Ubud, Bali! The hospitality, the attention to detail, the tranquility and peace, the views of the lush green tropical rainforest with rice terraces, the amazing food and drinks...you need to experience it all to believe it. We had to leave for Mount Batur sunrise trekking at 3.30 am, and a breakfast bag was waiting for us in the lobby, packed by the resort staff, without even asking for it. That's how much they pamper you! HIGHLY recommended!

When we arrived, all the staff immediately greeted us and assigned a personal assistant to accommodate our need and questions. The place is beautiful and super private. I especially love the solid stone bathtub 💕 we had dinner at the restaurant and it’s surprisingly very good with reasonable price. My dad even gave his approval and he is difficult to please. The staffs are very friendly and always stand by to assist you. Absolutely love our stay and will come back for sure

The room looks great and the staffs are very friendly. They even memorized our names. The bathtub was decorated with flowers on the first night and our bed was also decorated with flowers on the second night. The housekeeping staff wrapped our messy cables nicely. The room is bug-free despite insects flying around outside the villa. They have shuttle rides to central ubud which was great. however, we are not sure why the bathtub's surface is quite rough and it is not comfortable to sit on. We can also hear noises from outside our villa at night and early morning.

We have stayed at Komaneka 3 times - firstly at Bisma, which was excellent. Then last year at Tanggayuda so we would be near to where our friends were getting married. We went back again this year and would not consider staying anywhere else when visiting Ubud! Absolutely everything was first rate. Tanggayuda is amazingly beautiful and all of the individual villas are wonderfully spacious, private and well appointed. We have stayed in both the suite room and the pool villa and couldn't fault either, but if you can afford to treat yourself the pool villa really is something special. But what really makes Komaneka Tanggayuda so special is the incredible hospitality from everyone who works there. They say they want it to be your home away from home, but the reality is if home was that good you'd never go anywhere! Literally nothing is too much to ask and they are always prepared to go that extra mile. Friends of ours came over for dinner one evening and Komaneka even made a birthday cake, no charge! On a practical note, the main swimming pool is stunning, the restaurant is excellent (quality, service and location), there is free wifi throughout and three computers in a private lounge room that you can use. Breakfast is pretty big, so I'd recommend mixing and matching from the different menus. There is a free shuttle service to the centre of Ubud roughly every hour and the staff are always willing to drop you off or pick you up anywhere along the way. It's not that far to Ubud centre but takes about 10-15 mins due to the speed that traffic moves in Bali! Ask the staff for recommendations for dinner if you're going to Ubud, they are usually pretty good! Overall I just can't rate Komaneka Tanggayuda highly enough - should get 6 stars!!

All the Komaneka Resorts are Fabulous. ”
We found our stay at Komaneka resort exceptional. We were booked at the Komaneka at Tanggayuda for 5 nights but upon arrival were given the opportunity to upgrade to the newer resort Tomaneka Bisma. The upgrade did not disappoint. the staff at all the Komaneka resorts were amazing. Very helpful, totally engaging and always smiling. The Komaneka Bisma is closer to the centre of Ubud and within easy walking distance of good restaurants and shopping as well as the museums and temples that frequent the cultural centre of Bali. We found the food very good at the resort and ate most of our meals there...either in the restaurant or our suite. The infinity pool was outstanding and the layout of the resort very pleasing to the eye. We couldn't believe how peaceful and serene the resort was, and the view from our suite of the terraced rice paddies was memorable experience as well. One word of caution. when you arrive at the airport there will be porters wanting to help you with your luggage and arrange a taxi. The porter was very pushy and wanted $ 10 US for helping us with 2 bags and the cab driver wanted $ 100 US to drive us to the resort. We settled on $ 70 which was still too much. The rate using the resort shuttle service was $ 55 US. Also somewhat surprised to be charged 25 dollars to enter the country and another 20 to leave. I'm not complaining but we dropped 2 grand in 5 days and I believe there economy is driven by tourism but find it somewhat strange to charge you at both ends. Otherwise the honeymoon in Bali was wonderful. Can't say enough good things about the staff at all the Komaneka resorts...they realy make you feel like you are part of the family.

Secluded Location with exceptional Service”
Visiting Bali-Ubud for the first time, we want our stay to be a perfect experience. Hence we were taking extra time to choose our hotel carefully. There were several Komaneka hotels on offer, in the end We choosed Komaneka Tanggayuda based on the hotel high rating at agoda, travellers pictures and a review from a fellow traveller about the proximity of the hotel to ubud center. We booked a suite room but later put a request to upgrade to a pool room. Upon the arrival, we found the hotel location was the furthest away which add 15 minutes of a bike ride to the ubud center. The set up of the room was slightly different than what we pictured! We realised that we must mixed up the Bisma and Tanggayuda! Regardless of the above, we were very happy with our stay! We found the staff, from the security, gardeners and front service were exceptionally very friendly and genuine. They treat our feedback very professionally. A rare service from a big 5 stars hotel. Thank you to the staff at Komaneka Tanggayuda for making our stay at Ubud very pleasant.

The people (and everything else) are just sublime!”
Komaneka at Tanggayuda was undergoing renovations, therefore we were offered either to stay there (with some noise during working hours) or to be moved to their new property, Komaneka at Bisma, which is quite comparable, if not superior, to the Tanggayuda property. We decided to move and therefore this review is for Komaneka at Bisma. (the fact that Komaneka has 3 properties in Ubud has other pluses, such as the ability to seek refuge in their convenient property at Monkey Forest road). We greatly enjoyed our stay and there are almost too many great attributes to mention: free and quick transportation anywhere in Ubud, beautiful setting, fantastic accommodations, very good food, and outstanding staff. They make the staff a big selling point, and it's not just marketing: they truly are excellent. Did I mention the property is simply stunning with rice fields, a creek, waterfalls, two pools and more? PS - If you're thinking about a wedding, they have a beautiful chapel facing a small creek that can fit 40 of your closest friends.

Simply wonderful boutique hotel”
For our first time to Bali, my husband and I were looking for a small, unique luxury hotel that would capture the essence of Ubud--the Komaneka at Tanggayuda turned out to be absolutely perfect. We had originally booked a suite, but upon arrival learned they had upgraded us to one of their private plunge pool villas--simply amazing! It featured wall-to-wall windows, an intricate thatched roof, a lovely bed with romantic mosquito netting all around--even rose petals were sprinkled all around. Our villa had the most amazing stone carved outdoor soaking tub and plunge pool tucked away in the back--it was heavenly. It's definitely worth the extra $50 for their villas--trust me! The hotel itself was gorgeous as well--very nicely maintained and hard to believe it is over 10 years old. The infinity pool was stunning and the spa treatments/atmosphere were some of the most pleasant I have ever had. The staff was warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2-day private tour and separate cooking class we arranged through the hotel--all reasonably priced to boot! Their breakfasts were generous, but I would opt for their more traditional fare instead of their English/American options The only possible downside to this property is it's proximity to Ubud. They do offer an hourly shuttle service and will very often take you into town/pick you up whenever you call, but it does offer a bit of a logistical challenge and it is definitely worth noting. That said, you wouldn't get the views and the privacy without the distance. Loved it and we will definitely be back!

One of Ubuds finest”
Have been staying in ubud for a number of years now and can confidently say this hotel has been my favourite. The standard of service and friendliness in general in Bali is very high , but the staff at Komaneka somehow take it to a new level - every effort is to make you feel at home and welcome. As other reviewers have noted this hotel is not near the Ubud township - I view this as a positive. Regular shuttle buses are provided however. The grounds and rooms are all spectacular - photos you'll see don't really do it justice. Found the restaurant food to be surprisingly good also - I normally like to eat anywhere but the hotel, but on this occasion found myself happy to eat on site. Highest possible recommendations for this hotel, if you are looking to genuinely relax and have a blissful experience in ubud, you will not go wrong with Komaneka Tanggayuda.

great hotel, fantastic service”
Komaneka Tanggayuda is situated about a 10-15mins (slow) drive outside the centre of Ubud. It is in a quiet location and consists entirely of private villas, many with their own plunge pool. However, the main (infinity) pool area is stunning and most people seemed to prefer this to the pool at their villa. We had previously stayed at Komaneka Bisma, which was also excellent, but given the choice we prefer Tanggayuda. With only 20 villas (currently being expanded by an additional 15) it is very peaceful and spacious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and literally nothing was too much effort. There is a free shuttle into Ubud every hour until around 10pm. However we attended a friends wedding at a different hotel and the Komaneka staff were happy to pick us up at whatever time we finished. If you wanted breakfast outside of the usual time, no problem. You want it in your room or by the pool, no problem. There is also free wireless internet throughout the hotel and if you don't want to take your laptop/iPad, there is also a library with 3 computers with internet access (and free use of the printer). We really wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
