Where to stay in Lazimpat
Lazimpat hotels & accommodations

I've stayed a few times at the Shaker and had a particularly good stay this time. The staff were extremely helpful, arranging an additional half-day stay to fit with a late flight and looking after luggage during a trek. It's the second time I've stayed in a suite and on this occasion it was great (the suites seem to vary in quality somewhat so maybe worth checking the...

The hotel is located in nice place, not far from crowded area. Transports and everything is near by. Hotel people are also nice to guide you for your trip. I was there for one night with my 9 years old Son, hotel upgraded my room. The only thing that not match with the hotel as called 5 star is its swimming pool. Its quality, services, maintenance, amenities and manage...

our family of five recently stayed here and upon check-in the staff told us connecting rooms were not available even though i'd contacted the hotel prior to arrival stating this is what we needed since we had small children. the staff were very accommodating in working with us to find a larger room and moving two cots into it so that we could all be in one room. very...

Hotel Tibet is a very unassuming place to stay just off Lazimpat. It has good sized rooms with everything a traveller needs and the shower has plenty of pressure and hot water. Breakfasts are plenty of simple fare. Tibetan hospitality at its best in Kathmandu. Good value for money.

I really like this hotel design , the room , the shoping space and the cleanliness. Bring such a peace and calm once coming to this place , but no tv. Alright pls abandon to have tv just rest and read the books that they give us to read. Such a nice breakfast too! This hotel are so much incredible to me.

Hotel Lion is overpriced for its quality. There are much more affordable and nicer options just up the street. I ended up staying there on my last night in Kathmandu because it was storming out and I needed a place to rest until the storm passed by. The staff was kind but the hotel was disappointing. To make matters worse, the following day the owner of the hotel invit...

our stay was comfortable, the neighborhood was safe. flashlight helps as some areas the street lights are a little apart from each other but still women and children walk safely at night. no problem getting taxi from the driveway. my wife and I would definitely stay here again. the restaurant in the hotel had a large menu which was a delight after a week of the nepales...

I had an enjoyable time in Sampada garden resort. It is within walking distance from main street (2 mins walk), yet not too close that it is noisy. Perfect. It has a little garden. I honestly didn't like breakfast, I thought it was bland and boring. However, dinner was excellent! Restaurant meals were way better than anything I had elsewhere in Kathmandu. It was really...

The mother and daughter proprietors are very thoughtful. The daughter, Iccha, speaks English fluently. She demonstrated special kindness when I was sick by offering honey lemon tea and soup. Breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast was very good. Be prepared to go up a lovely wooden spiral staircase to reach 3 of the 4 rooms. The bathrooms are new and work wel...
