The hotel itself almost feels out of place as you go through a darker alley with puddles of water, but then as soon as you step on the first step of the hotel you are in a nice clean environment that is well taken care of. There are a few restaurants to walk to and a 5 minute walk from the giant markets/night markets. Outside of that, prepare to use taxis or rent a vehicle (they have a big lot behind the hotel). The rooms are well done and modern lighting. TVs worked better than most in my SE Asia experiences, as I was able to stream movies. The doors slamming can be heard through the walls, but it didn't keep me up at night. I'd recommend this hotel to people who don't want to stay within the square of old town, want a newer hotel, and are looking for a hotel for good value for price.
I could have not asked for a better hotel to stay in. Everything was immaculate and truly this was a hidden gem. Very clean, 24/7 reception staff and nice breakfast. The hotel is also close to a muslim area, which really helped with halal friendly options. The owner is also muslim. The staff were really attentive and looked aftered us as well, especially Beebee. She is amazing, very kind and friendly. Definitely will come back to this hotel. Definitely reccomend to everyone! 😁
We had a pleasant stay in the premise. The room was not spacious but comfortable enough to rest after a long day exploring Chiang Mai. The breakfast choice was limited but good enough to start your day. The great hospitality by the staff especially Ms BeeBee was exemplary. She greeted us with smile and took effort to make our stay enjoyable. However, one thing that needs to be improved is the tidy landscaping of the courtyard. The grass should be trimmed and the swimming pool should be cleaned as well. Overall, it is a Halal certified property and we had a good stay.
For it's affordable price you get a clean hotel, hot & cold shower, fast internet, decent spread of breakfast options, a pool, and accomodating hotel staff. I highly recommend this hotel, also an 8-10 min walk to the night market, near good restaurants, convience store and massage places. Short ride to from the airport too.

“Great location, great room, very accommodating reception, but some improvement needed”
Stayed here due to a work event in nearby Shangri-La, and Le Bis was a short 5-min walk away. The room was more spacious than I expected, with good air-conditioning and lighting. It was also nice and clean. However, the electrical wiring needs to be reworked as the labels on the light switches were not corresponding to the lights that were actually being turned on and off. We also had an issue with Agoda itself. The booking confirmation clearly stated 3 rooms, but for some reason their system only showed 2. Even though we got there about 1 AM in the morning, the reception did not give us a problem and accommodated our needs. Kudos to them! But the housekeeping staff should undergo some further training. When they cleaned up my room, they actually moved my belongings. Fortunately, nothing went missing. I also had to stay in the room on the 2nd day of our trip, and during this time, one of them tried to enter/unlock the door despite the fact I had the "do not disturb" sign on, but they left me alone after I told them I was inside. Other than that, the stay was great and worth the time and money. There is a good coffee shop around the corner, a really good pharmacy beside it (run by a helpful pharmacist), as well as a nearby 7-Eleven for supplies. The hotel is also a 15-minute walk away from the nearest night market. Overall, I had a good time and will come back here if ever life brings me to Chiang Mai again in the future.
