The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes a real difference during your stay. The hotel isn't particularly fancy in terms of facilities (and they never claimed to be a 5-star hotel), but it does have a small, clean pool with a few sun loungers. Sunlight around the pool varies depending on the time of day, though we never found it crowded. Most guests seem to stay here for the location and spend much of their time out exploring. Although it's located in a lively area, the hotel itself feels calm and peaceful. It’s a very comfortable and clean place to return to after a full day of taking in all that Bangkok has to offer. The hotel uses chemical insect spray inside the rooms as part of its pest control, which is understandable given the high street food traffic in the area. We've stayed here many times and have never seen any insects in the room, which shows that the pest control is effective. If you're sensitive to chemical sprays, you might want to ask the staff to go lighter with the application. You can also pick up a natural lemongrass or citronella spray from a nearby 7-Eleven to use in specific areas like around door gaps if you are a bit paranoid with possible insects. Bed can be too soft or too comfortable for those who prefers hard-beds, as they use the plush feather mattress topper, but I suppose one can always request it removed. Sam as the pillows, they are super soft, while some likes them and some may prefer the firm pillows. We've always had a great experience staying here and can’t wait to return.

The moment I arrived, I was greeted by superbly friendly, polite and professional receptionist. Pui and her team made me feel very welcomed and the fact that she's always so bubbly made the stay even worthwhile. Rooms are clean and well equipped (and can hardly hear the traffic). Location is superb with the BTS and MRT just a couple of steps away and food...that should be the least of my worries as they can be found everywhere. But back to the hotel, from the receptionist to the housekeeping staffs, thank you for making my stay absolutely enjoyable.

The room is very clean, staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is good. The room rate is reasonable. The Hotel location is also good because it's near a train station (BTS). There is a nearby commercial building with 24-hour grocery shop and some restaurants and just a few steps away is another bigger mall with plenty of options. I wouldn't mind staying at this hotel again.

We have been coming back again and again to this hotel. This should be testimony and proof enough that it’s simply one of the best places to stay in Bangkok. It’s a short walk to both the BTS Skytrain (Sala Daeng) as well as the MRT (Silom) stations. The hotel is serene and the staff is friendly and even accommodating to our ‘delayed checkout’ request. Even though our initially assigned (sound-proof) room faced the construction site, we asked for and were given a different room facing the opposite (tranquil) direction. The breakfast here is good, but we opted to enjoy the authentic, delicious street food offerings located just outside the hotel. Our room was air-conditioned, neat, comfortable and spacious, the beds and linen pristine. On the fifth floor, the pool was sparkling and refreshing with complimentary clean towels, loungers, toilets and shower facilities. Le Siam Hotel remains one of the best bases to explore one of the best cities in the world from….
