"After the super busy & overwhelming mainland, Cruiser Island Resort on Koh Lon was serene and clean. We were there 4 nights and during the day there is no one except the wonderful few staff to attend to you. We stayed pool side all day, lounging or at the swim up bar. We even Bluetoothed our own music onto the speakers! ...and there is no one to sell anything to you. We were so sad about the rubbish on the beach and picked up so much. At about 5 pm Chinese package tourists arrive: to eat, limbo, disco and karaoke and stay the night to leave again by about 9 next morning. Prices were reasonable considering there is no where else to eat or drink, but if you’re budget conscious bring some nibbles and drinks. The food was delicious and all freshly made, our table set for meals and al a carte. It is 1500 baht to transfer each way, but in a long boat, adventurous. Wifi is an extra cost. We loved our stay at Cruiser, highly recommended and give high praise to the people there. "

"The staff at the hotel are always nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with several alternatives including both thai style and western style. The room was clean and outdoor bathroom big and pretty. Of course you need to expect some insects and lizards and some other creatures sharing this lovely setting since you are very much in the nature. Great with hammocks by the shoreline and other places to relax close to the sea, which is good since the beach has some pebbles and hermit crabs. Also great that you can borrow a canoe. If you paddle a bit around the island going south you will also find a completely secluded beach where you can swim and relax. But you need to go when it's high tide. Only downsides are that when it's low tide you cannot swim close to the hotel because the water is very far away and there are a lot of rocks. You can go a bit north though to find a place to swim. Also the food could be a bit better for the price. I would absolutely recommend the place if you want some peace and quiet on a lonely island. "
