Great Location, Modern & Comfortable!”
Loved it, especially the technology everywhere - from WFH spots in the spacious lobby, to speakers in the bathroom & being able to cast Netflix etc on TV in a well lit bedroom. Many restaurants nearby. Comfortably stayed 10 nights.

Central and quiet”
Marlin Hotel had everything we needed. A small , clean and clever designed hotel room, a good breakfast, a friendly staff and it was quiet during the night even though it's close to everything.

Beautiful Hotel/Great Location”
This hotel is beautiful and the location is great. You won't be disappointed. Note for America travelers, you may find the rooms very small compared to American hotels.

Exceptional”
The Marlin Hotel was a lovely modern hotel. We had an executive room which was a lovely size. Very comfortable bed and adjustable air con that worked well. Central to everything adjacent to St Stephens Green SC/ Grafton St restaurants etc. Will stay there again for sure.

Great location and facilities”
I stayed here at the Marlin for 7 nights, and I couldn't be more happier with my stay. The location worked really well for me, very central to everything you need, walking distance to most attractions in the city, and only a short walk to Luas station. Check in and out process were fairly seamless, great gym facilities, reasonable room size and cleanliness and very responsive housekeeping team. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Paying for location ”
Small, compact rooms, overlooking offices. Pricey but paying for the fantastic location. Bar and food were great, nice little terraced area. Would definitely stay again.

Fine enough, good location, little nuisances ”
Clean, adequate. Excellent location, and reasonably quiet. Staff were mediocre, ungracious. A 5 day stay and my room key had to be reset 3 different times, always without an ounce of concern or regret from staff for the hassle.

Hotel very modern and great location”
Pros: Great location near to Grafton Street. Nice and modern hotel. Reception staff excellent - very helpful and friendly. Communal laundry and ironing facilities. Nice room. Breakfast good value. Cons: small room. Bed closed in on 3 sides but not a problem. I stayed for 7 days and for some reason my room was only attended to once. I say 'attended to' as the one day the cleaners came in they straightened the bed and replaced the towels but didn't clean anything leaving the bathroom and bedroom as is nor did they add to the essentials like soap and toilet paper. I had to take that myself from the trolley which seemed to be permanently in the corridor. Maybe that was the intention. I never brought it up with the hotel staff so I'm as much to blame as I'm sure they would have attended to it.

Too expensive for what it provides”
The bathroom extractor (vent) was not working and the room got very dump, extremely humid. I tried to call reception using the room telephone, but it was also not working. For half of my stay, I had to use the bathroom in the dark as the bathroom’s light was not turning on all the time. Not all toiletries (hand soap) were available in the room on the day of arrival. The bathroom door was only a sanded glass (no noise privacy). Also the plugs on top of the desk were not working. I complained to reception and they said someone would take a look next day, but no one checked anything. Towels with hairs from previous guests. The room was noisy during the night. You need to ask for a hairdryer in advance as they don’t have it in the rooms.

service”
After being ripped off online when booking a 3 night stay, I was entiitled to a refund of £60 after being over-charged. The staff did absolutely nothing to resolve - indeed one was bossy and rude. They showed no empathy and couldn't care less. Still now there's no one who's taken ownership of it and look to resolve my complaint. Very poor.

You can find better”
This hotel does not regularly clean their rooms, give fresh towels, or empty trash. We had trouble using their check in Kiosk and didn't like how un stocked the rooms were. There are no microwaves, mini fridges, irons, coffee makers, kettle, etc. Maybe there are in the bigger rooms...but ours did not contain anything useful. Our room also contained a shower with only half a door which meant when showering water spilled onto the bathroom floor. You had to use your limited towel supply to mop it up and, because you don't get new towels, this became a gross wet mess that we had to deal with for the entire week of stay. I think they want to appear like they serve a more high end class of patron but even a gentleman came downstairs asking for an iron for a business meeting, and the staff told him they didn't know where to get him one. Redeeming feature is the helpful location to central Dublin. We had read reviews and had to book here anyway due to the last minute nature of our trip. Other reviewers were not embellishing.

Acceptable”
The hotel claims to be a 4 stars but offers rooms that are really really small, with almost no amenities, where you cannot open your window nether walk around the king size bedroom. The bed occupies half the surface of the room: it seems a cost-effective solution, and sure it is for the property, but makes almost impossible to effectively clean the room and the bed in particular, in a way similar to a japanese capsule hotel or high capacity hostel (with the excepion of the price, expensive for such an accomodation).
