“Perfect Place”
I initially booked this lodging with some trepidation thinking that it may not be as good as we were hoping, but this lodging was much better than expected! The ocean facing villa was comfortable and very clean. We positioned ourselves here to depart from Phuket airport after spending almost 2 weeks on Koh Lanta. After a long day transition day from the island (late boats etc.) I was not looking forward to the 1 hour drive from the docks to the north of Phuket to reach this lodging, but I am SO GLAD that we did! The "hotel" shares a stretch of beach with major resorts and while we were very comfortable is our relatively inexpensive lodging, we were able to indulge in some great dining provided by nearby hotels. The first evening we wandered about 600 meters exploring the surroundings and came upon a collection of beachside outdoor restaurants run by locals - the food was good and we were even surprised by an elephant! This was the perfect place to relax and refresh in preparation to depart on an international flight. We were only 20 minutes from the airport - a very easy transition - and the laid back, easy going vibe was the perfect way to end our month exploring Thailand!
