Peaceful”
We stayed here on our way from Dublin Port to the west of Ireland. It is a beautiful, peaceful location, with welcoming staff and excellent facilities. We enjoyed a wonderful evening meal, and breakfast the following morning. We were sad to leave so early (due to a tight schedule), but will certainly be back and the next time will spend more time at the hotel and grounds.

A trip to Northern Ireland, It's really a good choice to stay midway at Moyvalley where you can take a historical bath to Boyne river valley where a lot of intereting sites ranging from Newgange dated 3200 BC to the battle field of Boyne around the end of 17th century.

Stayed one night as I was on business in the area. Lovely hotel set in the heart of peaceful countryside. Very helpful guy, Chris Iain, on check in. Lots of quiet country roads AND a canal path nearby for runs and walks. Would highly recommend this hotel

The old & the new”
There's a lovely big old house which is used for the drinks reception of weddings & a modern hotel used for the meal & band etc. But there's a walk between the 2 which is not ideal in bad weather. Staff are great though. Good value through Agoda

I was expecting more for a 4* hotel. The room was very small. The food was not the best at all, it tasted like the food was just reheated. Very noisy hotel so didn't get much sleep. The door would not lock either, which I didn't like

Mini break ”
We had a mini break at Moyvalley and were very impressed with the Beauty of the area, the helpfulness of the staff and the lovely breakfast. Not a lot to do for kids unless they are interested in golf. If the kids were a bit older we would probably have got bicycles, which were provided if wanted free of charge, and would’ve cycled around the park area of the hotel. We had a very relaxing stay. When we arrived we were to have 2 hotel rooms but were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bed cottage which was excellent for us as a family. All in all I would definitely return to Moyvalley. I would definitely come back to this hotel, spotless clean, food in the bar very nice, good sized portions, dealt with a lovely guy checking in, and on check out a lovely blonde foreign girl, both were lovely , can’t remember names, would recommend a stay at moyvalley, rest of our party were at a wedding the day before in the main house, in which the all loved and praised the staff, we unfortunately only flew in the Saturday morning and missed wedding, but we had a lovely stay the Saturday night, and a late check out , that was fantastic, breakfast was nice with good variety, thank you to all the staff
