Accommodation for three families during the scuba diving trip. Equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and induction cooktop. Washing machine and dryer are available for a fee on the first floor. Induction cooking utensils need to be brought by the guests. Located a 10-minute walk from nearby Max Value Mart and Family Mart. The accommodation was very satisfactory.
I stayed in a twin room with a friend. Other Minpaku have washing machines in the rooms, but this one does not... Instead, you can use the laundry on the first floor for ¥300. There is no dryer, so we use the bathroom drying function in the room. I did think that maybe I could have chosen another hotel for that reason. However, it's still clean, and for someone like me who is used to Minpaku, it was more spacious and comfortable than a hotel. The parking is free, which is nice, right? Haha. Considering the price and everything else, it feels like a tourist spot, but since it's about 10 minutes away from the city center, it's quiet and I think we can relax here.
The room is newly equipped with a bathroom dryer and washing machine, so you can do laundry without worrying about the weather. Located in the center of Ishigaki City, Euglena Mall is about a 20-minute walk from the nearby island terminal, and a taxi costs around 800 yen (as of November 2024). Buses run from the Art Hotel Ishigaki, which is diagonally across, to Kawahira, the bus terminal, and Ishigaki Airport. Although the frequency is not very high, it is convenient. For long stays, exchanging bath towels, face towels, and foot mats must be done during the reception's staffed hours, which is a bit inconvenient. The room is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and IH cooking heater, but there are no dishes or cooking utensils. Plates can be borrowed at the reception.
We stayed overnight with four people. The price was affordable and it was comfortable for a room just to take a shower and sleep.

It's better to take a taxi from the ferry terminal because the distance is too far when carrying luggage. You can get to the area around the public market for 600 yen by taxi. If you have no baggage, it's also possible to walk. The room was very nice, except for the location. The refrigerator was particularly large, and there was also a washing machine in the room. Additionally, there's no need to dry laundry outside, as there is an indoor drying machine in the bathroom, making it very convenient to dry clothes each time. It's a bit unfortunate that it's slightly away from the downtown area, but if you're renting a car or don't mind walking a bit, it was a comfortable room for a stay.
